Also fragen wir konkret: Könnte sich so etwas, was zwischen Amerika und Europa und innerhalb Europas im Irak-Konflikt geschehen ist, wiederholen? Wie verhindern wir, dass es sich wiederholt? Das zu klären, ist die eigentliche Nagelprobe für die transatlantischen Beziehungen, deren Perspektiven wir hier heute ja beraten. Dabei lohnt meines Erachtens ein Blick in die im letzten Jahr erschienene Autobiographie der früheren amerikanischen Außenministerin der Clinton-Administration, Madeleine Albright. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Mittel reichen von freundlichen Worten bis zu Marschflugkörpern." - Ende des Zitats. Noch einmal, das ist kein Zitat z. B. von Minister Rumsfeld, sondern von Frau Albright, das aber nur am Rande bemerkt. Im Grunde ist es eine verblüffend einfache Definition - den Interessen und den Werten der eigenen Nation dienen und dabei alle Mittel in Betracht ziehen. Aber es ist auch eine Definition, die aus meiner Sicht nicht nur für die amerikanische Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik Gültigkeit haben muss, sondern auch Maßstab einer europäischen Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik sein sollte, besser: sein muss." - - - - - Ein Jahr später wurde Frau Merkel Bundeskanzlerin oder besser gesagt "die amerikanische Kanzlerin". Nach fast 10 Jahren Regierungszeit, hat sie ihre Versprechen von damals tatsächlich wahr gemacht. Und das ist nicht zu verkennen in der Kriegspolitik der gesamten Regierung. Wer will es denn noch leugnen? Diese Wahnsinnigen müssen aufgehalten werden. Die Mächtigen dieser Welt basteln sich förmlich ihre Kriege zusammen und solche Politiker sind nur ihre Spielfiguren, um uns in den Abgrund zu führen.
