Sie haben den Islam verdünnt (verfälscht) und betrachten diejenigen, die nicht ihre Ansichten teilen, auch wenn diese dem Quran und der Sunnah entgegenstehen, als Feinde des Islam. Darüber hinaus ist ihr Hass zur Ahlu-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah (Anhänger der Sunnah und der muslimischen Gemeinschaft), und vor allem der Salafiyyah (die Befolger des Weges der rechtschaffenen Vorfahren) tief verwurzelt. Sie verspotten und verfluchen sie (die Ahlu-Sunnah) in dem Maße, dass sie über ihre Gelehrten (auch Führungsfiguren) lästern und sie als rückständig und intolerant betiteln. Ist es zulässig, Freundschaften mit ihnen zu schließen und ihnen Ratschläge zu geben? Oder sollte man sich von ihnen abwenden und sie boykottieren? Antwort: Jeder Da'i [1], der sich hinsichtlich der Da'wah, nicht an der Manhaj (Methodik) der Gesandten und seiner Nachfolger festhält, und der Manhaj der irregeführten Sekten befolgt, die Bida'tayn (religiöse Neuerungen) einführen, wie z.B. die Khawarij [2]und Al-Mutazilah [3] – es ist für euch weder zulässig Freundschaft mit ihnen zu schließen, noch euch zu ihnen zu gesellen. Vielmehr sollt ihr sie ablehnen und die Menschen vor ihnen warnen.
