Çünki, nafilə namazlar insanı Allaha yaxınlaşdıran ən fəzilətli əməllərdən sayılır. Allahın elçisi - sallallahu aleyhi ve səlləm - demişdir: "(Namaz qılmaqla) Allaha çoxlu səcdə et! Çünki, sən Allaha bir səcdə etdikdə, Allah onun səbəbi ilə səni bir dərəcə yüksəldir və bir günahını silir." ●2. Nafilə oruc tutmaq Bu günlərin hamısını və ya bacardığın qədər oruc tutmaq, xüsusilə Ərafa gününü orucla keçirtmək ən fəzilətli əməllərdən sayılır. Çünki, Allah orucu özü üçün seçmişdir. Peyğəmbər - sallallahu aleyhi ve səlləm - demişdir: "Allah buyurur: "Oruc Mənim üçündür və Mən onun mükafatını ayrıca verəcəyəm. O, Mənə gorə yeməkdən, içməkdən və şəhvətdən imtina etmişdir. Oruc bir qalxandır. Oruc tutan adamın iki sevinc anı vardır: iftar vaxtı, bir də Rəbbinə qovuşduğu zaman tutduğu oruca görə sevinəcəkdir". (əl-Buxari 1904). Huneydə ibn Xalid Peyğəmbərin zövcələrindən belə rəvayət edir: "Allahın elçisi zül-hiccə ayının ilk doqquz günü, Aşura günü və hər ayın bazar ertəsi günü ilə iki cümə axşamı günləri olmaqla üç gün oruc tutardı." Əbu Səid əl-Xudri rəvayət edir ki, Allahın elçisi demişdir: "Allah yolunda bir gün oruc tutan elə bir bəndə yoxdur ki, Allah o günün səbəbi ilə onun üzünü yetmiş illik məsafə qədər Cəhənnəm odundan uzaqlaşdırmasın. ★★★" Peyğəmbər Ərafa günü oruc tutmaq barədə belə demişdir: "Allaha ümid edirəm ki, Ərafa günü oruc tutmaq bir il oncəki və bir sonrakı günahları silir." Ancaq həcc mövsümü Ərafatda duranların oruc tutması bəyənilmir. Çünki, Peyğəmbər oruclu olaraq Ərafatda durmamış, əksinə insanlar onun oruc tutmadığını görsünlər deyə bir qədəh süd içmişdir. ●3. Həcc və ümrə ibadətlərini yerinə yetirmək. Bu günlərdə ən fəzilətli əməllərdən biri də həcc və ümrə etməkdir. Peyğəmbər demişdir: "Ümrə etmək, ondan əvvəl edilən ümrə arasındakı günahları silir. Qəbul olunan həccin mükafatı isə ancaq Cənnətdir." ●4. Bu günlərdə bol-bol Allahu əkbər, lə iləhə illallah və əl-həmdulilləh demək. Abdullah ibn Ömər rəvayət edir ki, Allahın elçisi demişdir: "Allahın dərgahında Onun üçün (zül-hiccə ayının) bu on günündən daha əzəmətli və onda edilən əmələrdən daha sevimli başqa günlər yoxdur. Odur ki, bu günlərdə bol-bol "lə iləhə illəllah", "Allahu əkbər" və "əlhəmdulilləh" deyin!" ★İmam Buxari bu haqda belə rəvayət etmişdir: "İbn Ömər və Əbu Hureyra zül-hiccə ayının birinci on günündə bazara çıxıb təkbir gətirir, oradakı insanlar da onlarla yanaşı təkbir gətirirdilər." ★ "Ömər bu günlərdə Minadakı çadırında təkbir gətirir, məsciddə onu eşidən müsəlmanlar və bazarlarda olan insanlar da təkbir gətirirdilər, hətta Mina təkbir səsləri ilə cuşa gəlirdi." ★"İbn Ömər də Minada bu günlərin hamısında fərz namazlardan sonra yatağında, çadırında, məclisində və yolda təkbir gətirirdi." ★ Ömər, oğlu Abdullah və Əbu Hureyranın etdiklərinə əsasən bu günlərdə aşkar və yüksək səslə təkbir gətirmək müstəhəb əməllərdən sayılır. Biz müsəlmanlar olaraq, təəssüflər olsun ki, günümüzdə hətta əməlisaleh insanların belə unutduğu bu sünnəti yenidən yaşatmalıyıq.
