Catholics are generally a lot more friendly to Islam than other Christian sects. He took away a Quran in Brazilian Portuguese to read.     रमज़ान 2014 पर विशेष दुसरा रमज़ान

    "रमज़ान" की ख़ासियतें, फ़ज़ीलतें और तारीख़ी यादगारें

    माहे मुबारक "रमज़ान" का नाम कुरआन पाक में सराहत (स्पष्टता) के साथ मज़कूर है। बाक़ी किसी भी दुसरे महीने का नाम सराहत के साथ मज़कूर नही है। जैसा कि अल्लाह तआला कुरआन पाक मे इर्शाद फ़रमाता है कि "रमज़ान का महीना, जिसमें कुरआन नाज़िल हुआ"।
    इसी मुबारक महीने में एक ऐसी रात है, जिसमें क़याम करना (ईबादत व शब बेदारी) हज़ार महीनों के क़याम से बेहतर है। इस मुबारक रात को "शबे क़द्र" कहा जाता है।
    इस मुबारक महीने में रोज़ेदारों का लम्हा-लम्हा ईबादत में शुमार होता है। जब कि दुसरे और महीनों में ईबादत के लिए समय मुक़र्रर (निर्धारित) होता है।
    इस मुबारक महीने में नेकीयों का सवाब 10 गुना से 700 गुना तक बढ़ा दिया जाता है। नफ़्ल का सवाब फ़र्ज़ के बराबर और फ़र्ज़ का सवाब 70 फ़र्ज़ के बराबर हो जाता है।
    इस मुबारक महीने में अल्लाह त़आला अपने बन्दों पर ख़ास तवज्जह (ध्यान) फ़रमाता है। स्वर्ग के दरवाज़े खोल दिए जाते हैं, नरक के दरवाज़े बंद कर दिए जाते हैं और शरकश शयातीन जंज़ीरों में जकड़ दिए जाते हैं।
    इस मुबारक महीने में रमज़ान की हर रात को 1 लाख नरकियों को नरक से आज़ाद फ़रमाता है और वह नरकी ऐसे होते हैं कि उन पर अज़ाब वाजिब हो चूका होता है। जब रमज़ान की आख़री रात होती है, तो उस रात में इतनी तादाद में आज़ाद फ़रमाता है, जितनी तादाद में रमज़ान की पहली रात से लेकर आख़री रात आज़ाद कर चूका होता है।
    इस मुबारक महीने में रोज़ेदारों को 2 ख़ूशियां मिलती हैं। एक इफ़्तार के समय और दुसरा ज़ियारते परवरदिगार के समय। रोज़ादारों का दिल अख़्लाक़ी ख़ूबियों से भर जाता है। रोज़ादारों के अंदर सब्र और बर्दाशत की सलाहीयत पैदा हो जाती है। वह गाली-गलोच के जवाब में सिर्फ यह कहता है कि "मैं रोज़ेदार हूं और गुज़र जाता है"।
    इस मुबारक महीने की 1 तारीख़ को हज़रत इब्राहीम नबी पर सहीफ़े नाज़िल (अवतरीत) हुए। 6 तारीख़ को हज़रत मूसा नबी पर तौरेत नाज़िल हुई। 13 तारीख़ को हज़रत ईसा नबी पर इंजील नाज़िल हुई। 24 तारीख़ को कुरआन पाक नाज़िल हुआ। 3 तारीख़ को प्यारे नबी की बेटी हज़रत बीबी फ़ातिमा का इन्तिक़ाल (निधन) हुआ। 17 तारीख़ को प्यारे नबी की बीबी हज़रत बीबी आइशा का इन्तिक़ाल हुआ। 17 तारीख़ को ही जंगे बद्र हुआ। 20 तारीख़ को "मक्का" फ़तह हुआ। 21 तारीख़ को हज़रते अ़ली की शहादत हुई थी।

    Syedna Hazrat ABDULLAH bin UMAR RadiAllahu Taala Anhuma se Riwayat hai ke Aaqa,aye Rehmat sallAllahu Alaihi wasallam ne farmaya :
    "Beshak Jannat ibteda,aye(shuroo) saal se Aainda saal tak Ramzan sharif ke liye Aaraasta ki jati hai , farmaya Jab pehla Din Aata hai tu Jannat ke ptton se Arsh ke niche hawa safed or bari Aankhon waali Hooron par chalti hai tu wo kehti hain ke Ae parwardigaar ! Apne Bandon se hamare liye un ko Shauhar bana jin se hamari Aankhen thandi hon or un ki Aankhen hum se thandi hon.

    The understanding of fasting among most people is to abstain from bread, fruit, and meat from sunrise to sunset. That is fasting according to the letter of the law (Sharee'ah). But the meaning of fasting and its goal and the greatness of fasting lies in the heart fasting from evil and abandoning the corruptions of pride and jealousy. How can the stomach fast and not the heart? How can one who has evil and false beliefs?
