Vielen Podien und Talkshows werden finden zum Themenfeld "Islam, Radikalisierung, IS etc." statt. Es geht um den Islam, Vertreter der Muslime fehlen aber meist. Oftmals ist eingeladen, wer den Islam als Problem sieht (Kaddor, Abdel-Samad) oder wahhabitische Prediger (Dabbagh und Abdul-Adhim), welche sich im TV verstellen und ein Islambild präsentieren, welches Vorurteile und Stereotype untermalt. Nicht selten erwischt man muslimische Vertreter damit, wie sie in eine Verteidungsrolle schlüpfen, sich von allem und jedem distanzieren und die Diskussion nicht auf eine Sachebene bringen können, die abstrakt das Problem behandelt. Auf der anderen Seite sitzen die üblichen Verdächtigen. Broder, Buschkowsky und Bosbach (die 3 B's des deutschen Fernsehens), die sich im Meckern überbieten, Islam und Muslime diffamieren und sich dennoch sachliche Experten nennen dürfen. Im Großen und Ganzen sind diese Talkshows fürs Entertainment gedacht. Schade, dass wenn es um Muslime geht, keine Muslime eingeladen werden, mit denen sich die Mehrheit der Muslime identifizieren kann.
