Wenn sie aber eine Versammlung finden, wo sich Leute Allahs gedenken, sitzen sie mit ihnen. Die Engel umschirmen sie mit ihren Flügeln in der Weise, dass sie unmittelbar mit dem ersten Himmel verbunden werden. Wenn sie sich zerstreuen, steigen die Engel in den Himmel auf. Hier dann fragt sie Allah, Der Allmächtige und Erhabene - und Er ist wohl wissender als sie -: „Woher seid ihr gekommen?" Sie erwidern: „Wir kamen von Deinen Dienern auf der Erde, die Dich preisen, indem sie sagen: „Subhana Allah" (gepriesen sei Allah), Deine Größe rühmen, indem sie sagen: „Allahu Akbar" (Allah ist Der größte), die Formel laa Ilaaha Illa Allah (kein Gott ist da außer Allah bzw. Es gibt nichts Anbetungswürdigeres außer Allah) sprechen, Dich loben, indem sie sagen: „Al-hamdu lillah" (Alles Lob gebührt Allah) und Dich bitten." Er sagt: „Worum bitten sie Mich?" Sie sagen: „Sie bitten Dich um Dein Paradies." Er sagt: „Haben sie Mein Paradies gesehen?" Sie sagen: „Nein! unser Herr." Er sagt: „Und wie denn, wenn sie es gesehen hätten?" Sie sagen weiter: „Und sie suchen Zuflucht bei Dir." Er sagt: „Und wovor suchen sie Zuflucht bei Mir?" Sie sagen: „Vor Deinem Höllenfeuer, unser Herr!" Er sagt: „Haben sie Mein Höllenfeuer gesehen?" Sie sagen: „Nein!" Er sagt: „Und wie denn, wenn sie es gesehen hätten?" Sie sagen: „Und sie bitten Dich um die Vergebung ihrer Sünden." Er sagt: „Ich habe ihre Sünden vergeben, ich habe ihnen alles gegeben, worum sie bitten, und ich habe ihnen Zuflucht bei Mir davor gegeben, wovor sie Zuflucht bei Mir gesucht haben." Sie sagen: „O Allah, unter ihnen befindet sich Soundso, und er ist ein sündiger Diener. Es geschah aber, dass er an ihnen vorbeiging und mit ihnen saß." Er sagte: „Ihm habe Ich auch vergeben. Sie sind diejenigen, mit denen er gesessen hat; und derjenige, der mit ihnen sitzt, soll nicht unglücklich sein."
