Daraufhin streichte er (mit seiner feuchten Hand) über den Kopf, und wusch daraufhin dreimal seine Füße bis zu den Knöcheln und sagte das der Gesandte Allâhs صلى الله عليه وسلّم sagte: مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ نَحْوَ وُضُوئِي هَذَا، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، لاَ يُحَدِّثُ فِيهِمَا نَفْسَهُ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ "Wer eine Gebetswaschung nimmt, so wie diese meine Gebetswaschung, und zwei Raka'â betet ohne das er dabei an was anderes denkt - so werden ihm seine vergangenen Sünden die er begangen hat verziehen. (al-Bukhârî 159) Der Punkt liegt darin, das er sein Gesicht dreimal wusch, die Hände bis zu den Ellenbogen drei mal, über den Kopf streichte und seine Füße bis zu den Knöchel (ebenfalls) dreimal gewaschen hat. Ist es der Vollständigkeit halber besser jede (vorgeschriebene) Körperstelle drei mal zu waschen, denn dies reinigt besser und die Handlungen sind mehr - oder nach der Sunnah zu handeln und manchmal die (vorgeschriebenen) Körperstellen dreimal zu waschen, manchmal zweimal und manchmal einmal? Die zweite Alternative ist besser; es ist besser manchmal die Körperstellen einmal zu waschen, manchmal zweimal und manchmal dreimal. Es ist besser nach der Sunnah zu handeln als viele Taten zu verrichten. Die Tat die mit der Sunnah im Einklang ist macht das die Person es fühlt das sie den Gesandten Allâhs صلى الله عليه وسلّم folgt.
