Muharram), der am Montag, den 3.11.14, ist. An diesem Tag ist es sehr empfohlen zu fasten. So berichtete Ibn Abbas (möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein): "Ich habe den Gesandten Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen auf ihm) an keinem anderen Tag so versessen aufs Fasten gesehen wie an diesem Tag und er hat keinen Tag mehr bevorzugt als diesen Tag, den Tag von Aschura und diesen Monat, den Monat Ramadan." (Bukhari) Und bezüglich der Belohnung dafür sagte der Gesandte Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen auf ihm): "Das Fasten am Tag von Aschura, so hoffe ich, wird Allah als Wiedergutmachung für das vergangene Jahr akzeptieren." (Muslim) Masha Allah, einen einzigen Tag als Wiedergutmachung für ein ganzes Jahr! Möge Allah (swt) uns diese Gnade ermöglichen und von uns annehmen! Es ist auch sehr empfohlen einen Tag davor (9. Muharram), also am Sonntag, den 2.11.14, zu fasten und wenn man kann, auch noch einen Tag danach (11. Muharram), also am Dienstag, den 4.11.14. "Als der Gesandte Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen auf ihm) am Tag von Aschura fastete und die Muslime aufrief, es ebenfalls zu tun, sagten sie: "Oh Gesandter Allahs, es ist der Tag, den die Juden und die Christen würdigen." Der Gesandte Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen auf ihm) erwiderte: "Wenn ich das nächste Jahr noch erlebe, so Allah will, werden wir am neunten Tag fasten." Aber es geschah, dass der Gesandte Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen auf ihm) noch vor dem nächsten Jahr starb." (Muslim) Es ist generell empfohlen besonders viel in diesem Monat (Muharram) zu fasten. So sagte der Gesandte Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen auf ihm): "Das beste Fasten nach dem Pflichtfasten im Monat Ramadan ist das freiwillige Fasten in Allahs Monat Muharram und das beste freiwillige Gebet nach den Pflichtgebeten ist das Salatul Lail."
