Allahu i Madhëruar thotë: "O robërit e Mi, të cilët e keni ngarkaur me shumë gabime veten tuaj, mos e humbni shpresen ndaj mëshirës së Allahut, pse Allahu i falë të gjitha mëkatet, Ai është që shumë falë dhe është mëshirues!" (Zumer: 53). Mund të thuash, dua të kthehem tek Krijuesi im pasi që e kam kuptuar se kënaqësia nuk është në ndekjen e epsheve por nuk di si të pendohem nga t'ia filloj. Kur Allahu i dëshiron hajrin robit të Tij ia lehtëson shkaqet të cilat çojnë tek pendimi. 1. Nijeti i sinqertë. Nëse njeriu e ka nijetin e sinqertë Allahu ia pranon pendimin. 2. Llogarite vetveten. Llogaria e vetes të çon tek hajri dhe të largon nga sherri. 3. Thuaj vetes, o shpirt pendohu para se të vdesësh, se vdekja vjen papritur. Kujtoi vetes vdekjen e filanit, filanit...etj. 4. Largo veten nga vendet e këqia, lëre vendin në të cilin e ke kundërshtuar Allahun. 5. Kujtoi vetes xhennetin dhe xhehnemin. Kujtoi bukuritë e xhennetit dhe çfarë ju ka premtuar Allahu atyre që ju binden dhe kujtoi vetes zjarrin dhe çfarë ju ka përgatitur Allahu atyre që kundërshtuan. 6. Kundërshto epshin (dëshirën)... Kushtet e pendimit të sinqertë: 1. Me sinqeritet të jetë pendimi vetëm për hir të Allahut, nga frika e dënimit të Tij dhe jo për t'u afruar te njerëzit. "Përveç atyre që u penduan, u përmirësuan, iu përmbajten Allahut (mësimeve të Tij) dhe praktikojnë sinqerisht fenë e tyre për Allahun. Të tillët do të jenë bashkë me besimtarët, e Allahu ka për t'iu dhënë besimtarëve shpërblim të madh (Nisa: 146) 2. Braktisja e gjynaheve. Nuk mund të pranohet pendimi nëse vazhdon duke bërë mëkate, por nëse pendimi yt është i sinqertë dhe prap bën mëkat, pendimi për mëkatin e parë inshaAllah është i pranueshëm vetëm se për mëkatin tjetër duhet sërish pendim. 3. Kërkimi i faljes për mëkatin e bërë. 4. Të ndiej keqardhje për mëkatin e bërë. Muhammedi, sal-all-llahu alejhi ve sel-lem, ka thënë: "Keqardhja është pendim". 5. Të vendos që të mos kthehet në të njëjtin mëkat. 6.Dhe nëse mëkati ka të bëjë mes teje dhe njerëzve të kërkosh hallall prej tyre. Shenjat e pranimit të pendimit: - Të jetë robi pas pendimit më i mirë se që ka qenë përpara. - Të frikësohet që të mos kthehet prap në gjynahe. Allahu thotë: "S'ka dyshim se ata që thanë: "Zoti është Allahu", dhe ishin të paluhatshëm, atyre u vijnë engjëjt (në prag të vdekjes dhe u thonë): "Të mos frikësoheni, të mos pikëlloheni, keni myzhde xhennetin që u premtohej. (Fussile:30) - Edhe pse është penduar le t'i kujtojë mëkatet si diçka të madhe. Disa nga të parët thonë: "Mos shiko se sa i vogël është mëkati, por shiko kujt po i bën mëkat." - Të kujdeset për gjuhën, ta ruajë nga thashethemet, fjalët e kota, ta pasurojë me përmendjen e Allahut dhe leximin e librit të Tij...etj. - Të kujdeset për barkun e tij, të mos hajë veçse hallall. - Të kujdeset për syrin e tij, të mos shikojë haram. - Të kujdeset për dëgjimin e tij, të mos dëgjojë haram. - Të kujdeset për duart, të mos i zgjasë te harami. - Të kujdeset për këmbët, të mos shkojë në vende të haramit. - Të kujdeset për zemrën, ta pastrojë nga zilia, urrejtja...etj. - Të kujdeset që bindja e tij të jetë vetëm për Allahun dhe të largohet nga syefaqësia. Kujdes nga thënia 'do të bëj'! Robi nuk e di kur i vjen vdekja dhe as sa i ka ngelur nga jeta. Gjejmë njerëz që nuk i kushtojnë rëndësi pendimit dhe thonë: Nuk është kjo kohë e pendimit, na lë të shijojmë jetën dhe kur do të arrijmë në moshën e shtyrë do të pendohem. Ky është epshi (dëshira) e shejtanit. Shpejto motër tek pendimi dhe kujdes nga fjala 'do të bëj'... !
