Orientalischstämmige Muslime begegnen ihnen oft entweder mit Vorbehalten und Skepsis oder nach dem 'MashaAllah-habe-ich-noch-nie-gesehen'-Motto. Und beides ist eigentlich fatal. Die Vorbehalte sind in Anbetracht der Herausforderungen unserer Zeit, unter anderem auch den modernistischen Sekten, irgendwo verständlich. Dennoch müssen sich Muslime genau da fragen, was sie falsch gemacht haben, dass es solche Befürchtungen überhaupt geben muss. Von Anfang an hätte man die Deutschen selbst zum Islam einladen müssen und es nicht den Sekten überlassen sollen. Der zweite Punkt ist weniger dramatisch. Jeder halbwegs, seinen Glauben liebende, Muslim freut sich über die Begegnung mit Muslimen. Aber warum muss das immer noch eine Überraschung sein? Für uns in der zweiten oder auch dritten Generation müsste es diese Grenzen nicht mehr geben, zumal wir mindestens genauso 'deutsche Muslime' sind. Solange nicht in jeder Reihe in der Moschee mindestens ein 'blonder Muslim' steht, haben wir nicht wirklich begriffen was unser Schicksal in Bezug auf diese Zeit und diesen Ort bedeutet.
