(Quran 49:12) Al-Muttalib ibn Abdullah berichtete, dass der Gesandte Allahs (sa) Folgendes gesagt hat: >>Ghibah (Gerede, Verleumdung) bedeutet, dass ein Mann etwas über eine Person erwähnt, das wahr ist – hinter seinem Rücken.<< Der Gesandte Allahs (sa) hat sich auch wie folgt geäußert: >>>Weißt du, was Ghibah ist?< Sie sagten: >Allah und Sein Gesandter wissen es besser.< Er sagte: >(Das ist,) wenn ihr etwas über euren Bruder erwähnt, was er nicht mag.<<< (Muslim, Kitab al-Birr was-Silah wa´l-Adab, Bab Tahrim al-Ghibah, Hadith Nr. 2589; Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi und Ahmad) Abu Barzah al-Aslami und Al-Bara´ ibn Azib überlieferten, dass der Gesandte Allahs (sa) Folgendes gesagt hat: >>O ihr Leute, die ihr für den Glauben Lippenbekenntnisse ablegt, während er eure Herzen nicht erreicht hat! Tratscht nicht über die Muslime, und legt nicht ihre Fehler bloß. Jeder, der die Fehler seines muslimischen Bruders aufdeckt, dessen Fehler wird Allah aufdecken. Und wenn Allah seine Fehler aufdeckt, wird es für alle sichtbar sein, selbst wenn er sich im innersten Teil seines Hauses verbergen würde.<< (Tirmidhi, Sahih Sunan at-Tirmidhi, Hadith Nr. 1655; Abu Dawud, Sahih Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith Nr. 4083) Was ist Ghibah?
