Manchmal wird uns in dieser Dunyā etwas gegeben, dass wir nicht wollten oder worum wir nicht baten, und manchmal ist etwas, dass wir uns so sehr wünschen, unerreichbar. Er hält einige Dinge vor uns zurück - Dinge, die sich unsere Herzen vielleicht innigst wünschen. Und manchmal wiederum, legt Er uns die Welt vor die Füße. Wenn ALLĀH etwas zurückhält, so gibt Er in Wirklichkeit, denn Er hält nicht aus Geiz o.ä. zurück, sondern macht es zum Vorteil Seines Dieners. So ist die Tatsache, dass Er vorenthielt, eigentlich Seine Wahl für den Diener und Sein ausgezeichnetes Urteil. Wir schweben stets zwischen dem was uns an Wünschen erfüllt wird, und dem, was uns stattdessen gegeben wird. Der Kluge begreift daher, dass er oder sie zwischen der Geduld und Dankbarkeit in der Schwebe bleibt.
