Our post was mainly about the lie spread on SOCIAL MEDIA (Twitter and FACEBOOK) by non Iranian Sunnis who claimed that she (Jabbari) is an Arab Ahwazi Sunni (i.e. they didn't really care about injustice being done to her, they cared more about her being Sunni). The plain facts are: - 1. She is from a known TEHRANI Shia family. There is no Jabbari Sunni family in Iran, this is common knowledge to every Iranian, particularly Tehranis. - 2. Not a SINGLE news source, neither Amnesty International, nor Sunni Iranian human rights groups nor Iranian oppositional groups have mentioned ANYTHING about her sect because a Tehrani family from Tehran is Shia by DEFAULT. - 3. The ONLY 'sources' that claimed she is Sunni are RANDOM SOCIAL MEDIA users (all Sunni and non-Iranian) who shared the lie about her being Sunni (may Allah forgive them, they could verify it EASILY by checking DOZENS of news sources).
