Und nun zur Frage: Das Gelübde wird gemäß der Absicht desjenigen verteilt, der das Gelübde abgelegt hat. Wenn du also nur die Armen und Bedürftigen beabsichtigt hast, dann darf das Schaf nur auf die Armen und Bedürftigen verteilt werden. Und wenn du deine Verwandten und deine Familie beabsichtigt hast, dann darfst du davon wie die Anderen nehmen, außer wenn es bei euch ein Brauch ist, dass man vom eigenen Gelübde nichts nimmt, oder falls du schon beabsichtigt hast, nichts davon für dich zu nehmen. Wenn man hingegen keine bestimmte Empfangsperson bestimmt, dann wird das Gelübde auf die Almosenempfänger verteilt, z. B. auf die Armen und Bedürftigen. In diesem Fall darfst du nichts davon für dich nehmen, außer wenn der Brauch es bei euch vorsieht, dass man vom eigenen Gelübde etwas nehmen bzw. essen darf; in diesem Fall bestimmt der Brauch den Teil, den du für dich nehmen darfst.
