Der Nationalismus stellt eine Verbindung unter Menschen dar, die nicht dauerhaft ist, da sie zum einen eine emotionale Verbindung ist, die aus dem Selbsterhaltungsinstinkt hervorgeht, und zum anderen eine unmenschliche Übereinkunft ist, die Auseinandersetzungen und Abgrenzungen unter den Menschen hervorbringt. So ist es im Nationalismus natürlich, die Menschen nach deren finanzieller Lage, deren Rasse bzw. deren Hautfarbe zu untergliedern, um sie in eine bestimmte Menschenklasse einzuordnen. Deswegen akzeptiert ihn der Islam nicht. Der Prophet (s) sagte: "Derjenige, der zu 'Asabiya (Nationalismus) aufruft, gehört nicht zu uns". Dies zeigt also, daß das Stammesbewußtsein bzw. das Nationalbewußtsein im Islam keinen Platz findet. Den Muslimen wird befohlen, eine Einheit zu bilden und sich nicht voneinander zu distanzieren, weil man unterschiedlichen "Nationen" angehöre. Der Prophet (s) sagte darüber: "Die Muslime sind wie ein Körper, wenn ein Glied des Körpers verletzt ist, leidet auch der Rest des Körpers". D.h. die Muslime, egal welchem Volk sie angehören, ob Afrikaner, Europäer oder Asiaten, sind eine Umma und können innerhalb dieser nicht voneinander getrennt werden. "Diese eure Gemeinschaft ist eine einige Gemeinschaft, und Ich bin euer Herr, darum dient Mir." ( al-Anbiya', Aya 92 ) "Und diese eure Gemeinschaft ist eine einige Gemeinschaft, und Ich bin euer Herr. So fürchtet Mich." ( al-Mu'minun, Aya 52 ) Diese Verse und Hadithe sind einige von vielen, die das Thema der Einheit der Muslime behandeln. Sie zeigen deutlich, daß die Muslime eine Umma sind, die nach den Gesetzen Allahs (swt) handeln und leben muß. "Oh ihr, die ihr glaubt, gehorcht Allah und gehorcht dem Gesandten und denen, die unter euch Befehlsgewalt besitzen. Und wenn Ihr über etwas streitet, so bringt es vor Allah und den Gesandten, wenn ihr an Allah glaubt und den Jüngsten Tag." ( an-Nisa', Aya 59 ) Hieraus geht eindeutig hervor, daß das Staatsoberhaupt im Islam in einem Staat regiert, in dem das islamische Glaubensfundament ('Aqida) und Qur'an und Sunna als einzige Quellen die Staatsgrundlage darstellen. Keine von Allah (swt) offenbarten Verse beinhalten den Befehl bzw. die Toleranz der Teilung der Muslime in heute nahezu über 50 sogenannte "unabhängige" Staaten mit genauso vielen Führern. Wie läßt sich diese Tatsache mit dem koranischem Vers "Und diese eure Gemeinschaft ist eine einige Gemeinschaft, und Ich bin euer Herr. So fürchtet Mich." (al-Mu'minun, Aya 52) vereinbaren?
