Shaykh Naser Al-Fahd, möge Allah seine Gefangenschaft aufheben, sagte über die Murjia dieser Zeit:
"Wenn der Talibul Ilm (Student des Wissens) ihnen bei ihrer Neigung zustimmt, dann stellen sie vor seinem Name vier oder fünf Titeln, wie "Shaykh, Muhaddith, Allamah und Faqih".
Doch wenn er ihre Neigung widerspricht, entziehen sie ihm sogar das Wort "Shaykh", selbst wenn er ein Shaykh (Älterer) nach seinem Alter ist.
Sie denken, dass der Eine durch ihre Titeln erhoben oder durch das Entziehen davon minderwertig wird. Und wissen nicht, dass der Eine, durch seine Taten, Wissen und Ausüben der Wahrheit, von Allah erhoben wird"

"Before I came to the Middle East, I never felt myself part of the Ummah, well in the real sense at least. Yes, we would feel upset and devastated at times while watching the news in our comfortable homes but at the end of the day, the television would turn off and we would return to our lives. At times we would shed tears and then later on in the day our biggest concern was which mall or restaurant to go to. We spent our days trying to fill the emptiness that in essence, couldn't be filled without the true remembrance of Allah and the empathy for our very own brothers and sisters of the Ummah. Prayer, fasting, and regular community mosque visits were just mere rituals, most of the time, social events and occasions. We would all talk about education, philosophy, and wax eloquent on poetry bits here and there...going through life's little mundane rituals. School, work, kids, neighbors, family commitments, and weekend nights with good friends filled our calendars.
Khilafah? Yeah, I believed. But in a theory type of way. In a far off land type of way. Like I wasn't going to be affected by it or part of it type of way. It was a distant good dream, or feel good type of recurrent memory that you would bring up only with others who believed in it for, well, people may mock us because its just so farfetched at the moment. I would get irritated by those who would mock it or deny it though but generally stayed silent.
And then I moved to the Middle East. Life for expats is great at first. You're like a celebrity on a vacation. Only even better because these people are mostly Muslims. They wear hijab and there are masajid everywhere! Do you know how hard it is to find a mosque while you are travelling in certain parts of the West? And then making wudhu with bottled water while people stare wondering what we were doing. And my kids were going to learn the language of the Quran and all the hadith and the rulings on all matters. I was really happy.
And then, reality kicked in and well it was a slap in the face. All these people really had were their dress codes and masajid. They could only cling to their rituals. The system, schools, and lifestyle in general was not conducive to the Islamic system at all. I was confused. And then I remembered. But the whole topic of the Khilafah was forbidden. Bad, really horrible things happened to people who spoke of such a thing. That dream that we had was a nightmare for the rulers in this part of the world.
I now live amongst these people and they are my family. They were always my family all along but I never realized it. I watched in horror on the news--Libya, Tunis, Gaza, Egypt, Syria, Burma, etc...I still watch. But something clicked and I realized that these are my brethren and I am part of Mohammed's Ummah. I can't watch and think I won't be held accountable. The dream that was so far in the future really isn't so far. And even if it is, I still have to work for it. This is my family and I can understand for some of those who are in the West that there may be some sense of detachment. But I live here now and I know that they are a responsibility on all of us. I am your responsibility because I am here as well. Things may deteriorate here soon or not so soon. But I know now that my home and my land here is what I am supposed to defend. Defend from the invasion of kufr and the enemies of Islam. Those hell bent on destroying not only our ideology, but our sacred lands and people as well. However, I learned that you can never kill the ideology of Islam, regardless of how many of us get martyred, our deen will live on. Don't lose hope and don't give up on your brothers and sisters. Allah knows best. "

Did the Sahaba Differ in 'Aqīdah? | Al-'Allâmah Sâlih al-Luhaydān
Questioner:
"There are those who come forth and claim that the Sahaabah differed in matters of 'Aqeedah. What is the ruling on this? Please give us a fatwa, may you be rewarded."
Al-'Allâmah Sâlih al-Luhaydān:
"Astaghfirullaah! No one says this, except a misguided innovator. He says that the Sahaabah differed whilst the Sahaabah were people of 'aqeedah. If there was any disagreement between them, then it was merely in some of the affairs of ijtihaad related to deeds.
As for the affairs of 'aqeedah, that Allah is One and that He is All-Hearing and All-Seeing, and that He does what He wills, that He is the Supreme Creator, and that He is the Creator of everything and that He is aware of everything.
No! They did not differ (in Aqeedah). And no one brings up this affair, except a caller to fitnah. Except that he disguises himself -- with his claim -- that he is from the people of goodness. He may have known some good and started to speak with the good he knows, to mislead the people and drag them into the falsehood that he is inclined to and is eager in spreading.
If he is from those who are deceived, let him seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him and let him return to the people of knowledge and ask them. And if he is from those who like to conceal their agendas and cover their true objectives let him be exposed so the people can be protected from his evil."
