    Das Assad-Regime gibt vor, gegen Dschihadisten zu kämpfen. Doch das ist nur Propaganda
    Minderheitenschutz ist ein Pfeiler der Menschenrechtspolitik, und dass in Syrien langfristig eine Gefahr für Minderheiten besteht, bestreitet niemand. Amnesty International warnt, dass im Falle eines Regimesturzes vor allem die Alawiten, denen Präsident Baschar al-Assad angehört, Racheaktionen fürchten müssen.
    Doch derzeit sehen weder internationale noch syrische Menschenrechtsorganisationen Belege für eine systematische Verfolgung von Christen. Wenn man davon sprechen kann, dass es eine Gruppe besonders hart trifft, dann ist das derzeit die sunnitische Mehrheit. Doch dass man die Mehrheit vor einer Minderheit schützen muss, passt nicht in unser Bild. Dass die mutmaßliche Christenverfolgung in Deutschland dennoch immer wieder beschworen wird, liegt nicht zuletzt an der geschickten Propaganda aus Damaskus: So wird der angeblich allgegenwärtige Demonstrationsslogan "Alawiten in den Sarg, Christen nach Beirut" zwar von Artikel zu Artikel kopiert, nur in Syrien hört man ihn nicht. Auch einige Geistliche aus der Region sowie die Nachrichtenagentur des Vatikans verbreiten Schauergeschichten über vertriebene oder ermordete syrische Christen, die direkt aus dem PR-Fundus des Regimes staNur passt es einfach zu gut in die westliche Wahrnehmung nahöstlicher Krisen, den Konflikt in Syrien auf rein konfessionelle Bruchlinien zu reduzieren. Demnach dominieren radikale Islamisten – soll heißen: Terroristen – den Aufstand gegen Assad. Deren Präsenz ist zweifellos ein enormes Problem, ihre Kampfkraft ist aber keineswegs so groß, wie die Schlagzeilen in einigen westlichen, auch deutschen, Medien suggerieren. Erst durch den jüngsten Ausbruch des Konfliktes zwischen der Freien Syrischen Armee und islamistischen Gruppen wurde deutlich, dass die Salafisten weder die einzige noch die einzig wichtige Gruppe der Opposition bilden.
    Dabei waren es die syrischen Geheimdienste, die von 2003 an maßgeblich die Entstehung einer dschihadistischen Terrorszene beförderten: Nachdem die Amerikaner den irakischen Diktator Saddam Hussein gestürzt hatten, wollten Tausende Radikale aus Saudi-Arabien, Libyen, Kuwait und anderen Staaten ins Land – und nahmen die Route über Damaskus. Dort wurden sie am Flughafen empfangen, in Bussen zur irakischen Grenze gebracht und oftmals in Camps auf den Kampf vorbereitet. 2007 entdeckten US-Geheimdienstler ein ganzes Archiv mit Informationen über Hunderte ausländische Dschihadisten, die über Syrien in den Irak gebracht worden waren. Es lag damals im strategischen Interesse von Damaskus, den US-Truppen dort das Leben so schwer wie möglich zu machen. Der Regierung von US-Präsident George W. Bush sollte jede Ambition genommen werden, auch in Syrien einen regime change wie in Bagdad zu versuchen.
    Assads Propaganda, die sehr effektiv mit westlichen Ängsten spielt, zeigt Erfolg. Sie hat ihm und seinem Vorgehen zwar nicht mehr Sympathien gebracht, aber die Opposition diskreditiert. Die Debatte über eine Schutzverantwortung der internationalen Gemeinschaft, die horrende Zahl von mittlerweile über 100.000 Toten, die Berichte von Gefolterten und Verschwundenen sind längst in den Hintergrund getreten. Selbst glaubhafte Meldungen über den Einsatz von Chemiewaffen – von den USA im vergangenen Jahr noch als "rote Linie" bezeichnet – haben nicht zu einem Aufschrei geführt. Vielmehr wird nun automatisch eingewandt, man könne aus Syrien keine verlässlichen Informationen bekommen. Auch wenn es mittlerweile kaum noch einen Ort in Syrien gibt, an dem das Regime unangefochten herrscht: Damaskus hat sich einen guten Teil der Definitionshoheit darüber zurückerobert, was in diesem Krieg als Fakt gilt.

    Tawheed… the essence of Islam

    Tawheed (Islamic monotheism) is the greatest foundation of Islamic belief. In fact, a person is considered as Muslim if he/she accepts that there is no god worthy of worship but Allaah and that Muhammad is His slave and His messenger to humankind.

    Almighty Allaah Says in the Noble Quran (what means): "Allaah- there is no deity except Him, the Ever- Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (literally, a footstool) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." [Quran 2: 255]

    In these marvelous verses, Allaah describes Himself as The Only One- Most Powerful, Ever-Living Lord of us. Tawheed is the bedrock of Islam and it states that it is Allaah Who has created the universe with whatever is in it and administers it. What we deduce from the operation of the universe and call 'natural laws' are, in fact, Allaah's regular ways of creating things and events and administering the universe.

    According to Islam, all religions revealed to the prophets, may Allaah exalt their mention, have the same essence and knowledge of Tawheed and unity of Allaah, but, with the time, the message was misinterpreted, mixed with superstition, and degenerated into magical practices and some rituals. That was the same message with which Aadam was sent down to earth, the same knowledge that Allaah revealed to Nooh (Noah), Ibraaheem (Abraham), Moosaa (Moses) and 'Eesaa (Jesus), may Allaah exalt their mention, and the last Prophet sent to humanity, Muhammad .

    Islam rejects characterizing Allaah in any human form or depicting Him as favoring certain individuals or nations on the basis of wealth, power, or race. However, our human minds are often in search of understanding the concept of Allaah in materialistic ways, although we are not capable to completely comprehend this concept. When Prophet Muhammad's contemporaries asked him about Allaah, Allaah revealed the chapter of Ikhlaas (Quranic Chapter No. 112) which is considered as the motto of Tawheed, Saying (what means): "Say (O Muhammad), "He is Allaah, [who is] One. Allaah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor was He begotten. Nor is there to Him any equivalent." [Quran 112:1-4]

    The Creator must be a different nature from the things created, because if He is of the same nature as they are, He will be temporal and will, therefore, need a maker. If the maker is not temporal, He must be eternal. But if He is eternal, He cannot be caused. If nothing apart from Him causes Him to continue to exist, He must be Self-Sufficient and Self-Subsistent. If He does not depend upon anything for the continuance of His own existence, this existence can have no end. The Creator is therefore Eternal and Everlasting Allaah Says (what means): "He is the First and the Last" [Quran 57:3].

    The Creator does not create only in the sense of bringing things into being, in other words, He is not only a Starter, He also preserves everything, takes them out of the existence, and is the ultimate cause of whatever happens to them.

    'Ali Ibn Abu Taalib the fourth Muslim Caliph, is reported to have said: "He is being but not through the phenomenon of coming into being. He exists but not from non-existence. He is with everything but not physical nearness. He is different from everything but not by physical separation. He acts but without the accompaniment of movements and instruments. He is the One, only such that there is none with whom He keeps company or whom He misses in his absence."

    In Islam, Allaah is known by His Names and Attributions and the manifestation of these names in the universe.

    Another aspect of Tawheed in Islam is that it implies the equity and unity of all people in their relation with Allaah. Thus, people of different social strata were not created by separate deities with varying levels of power, since this would violate Tawheed by putting barriers between them. Instead, social dimension of Tawheed states that the same Allaah created everyone, and so all people have the same fundamental essence. In fact, the noblest person in Allaah's Sight is the one who is most Allaah-conscious.

    Prophet Muhammad said: "Your Lord is One. You are from Aadam and Aadam was created from dust. An Arab is not superior to a non-Arab, nor a white person over a black person, except for his/her piety and righteousness." [Ahmad]

    Le comportement du Prophète (Salla Allahou Alaihi wa Sallam) avec les ignorants



    Le comportement du Prophète () et son attitude avec les ignorants peuvent se résumer dans les points suivants :

    Il se souciait () de faire preuve de douceur à leur égard
    Anas, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, dit : « Alors que nous étions assis avec le Messager d'Allah () dans la mosquée, un bédouin se mit à y uriner. Les Compagnons se précipitèrent alors sur lui, mais le Messager d'Allah () s'écria :
    - « Laissez-le et ne l'interrompez pas ! ». Ils le laissèrent alors, et lorsqu'il eut fini d'uriner, le Messager d'Allah l'appela et lui dit :
    - «Il ne convient pas de souiller ces mosquées avec cette urine et ces saletés. Elles sont consacrées à l'évocation d'Allah, exalté soit-Il, à la prière et à la récitation du Coran».
    Ensuite, il ordonna qu'on apporte un seau d'eau et le versa sur l'endroit souillé. » (Boukhari et Mouslim).

    Chez certains des compilateurs de hadiths, ce bédouin dit :
    - « Ô Allah ! Accorde-moi et à Mohammad Ta miséricorde et ne l'accorde à personne d'autre que nous »
    - « Tu as cherché à donner des limites à la Miséricorde d'Allah alors qu'elle est immense » dit le Prophète ().

    Par ailleurs, lorsque le bédouin urina au coin de la mosquée et que les gens se levèrent pour le malmener, le Prophète () le leur interdit en disant :

    - « Allah ne vous a suscités que pour faciliter les choses et ne vous a jamais suscités pour les rendre difficiles. Versez un seau d'eau sur son urine » (Abou Daoud, al-Tirmidhî et al-Nasâ`î).

    En fait, si le Prophète () n'avait pas interdit aux gens de réprimander ce bédouin, cela aurait eu les répercussions suivantes :
    - la souillure n'aurait pas été limitée à un seul endroit, mais elle aurait été dispersée dans toute la mosquée ;
    - le bédouin aurait été gêné à cause de l'interruption de son urine ;
    - cette agressivité aurait détourné ce bédouin de la religion,
    - et sa 'awra (parties du corps qu'il ne faut pas montrer) aurait été dévoilée s'il s'était levé sans avoir fini ses besoins.

    Ô combien éminente est la sagesse du Messager d'Allah (). Certes, Allah, exalté soit-Il, l'a doté d'un comportement irréprochable !

    A cet égard, Mu`âwiyya ibn al-Hakam al-Sulami, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, raconta : « Alors que je priais avec le Messager d'Allah () voilà que l'un des fidèles éternua. Je lui dis alors :
    - « Qu'Allah te fasse miséricorde ».
    Les gens me jetèrent des regards de réprobation. Je dis :
    - « Malheur à moi ! Qu'avez-vous à me regarder ainsi ? ».
    Ils se mirent à taper des mains sur leurs cuisses (pour me faire taire). Quand je compris qu'ils voulaient me faire taire, ceci m'étonna, mais je me tus quand même. Lorsqu'il acheva sa prière, le Messager d'Allah () - puisse-t-il vivre au prix de la vie de mon père et de ma mère car je n'ai jamais vu avant lui, ni après lui, un instructeur meilleur que lui - ne me gronda pas, ni ne me frappa, ni ne m'insulta. Il se contenta de me dire :

    - « Durant la prière, il n'est pas permis de prononcer une seule parole de ce que les gens se disent entre eux. La prière, en effet, n'est faite que pour exalter Allah, Le glorifier et réciter le Coran » (Mouslim).

    Abû Umâma, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, rapporta qu'un jeune homme vint voir le Messager d'Allah () et lui dit :
    - « Ô Prophète ! Autorise-moi à commettre la fornication ».
    Les gens se rassemblèrent alors pour le réprimander. Or, le Prophète lui dit avec air rassurant :
    - « Approche ! »
    Il s'approcha alors et s'assit près de (). Le Messager d'Allah lui dit : « Aimerais-tu voir ta mère s'adonner à la fornication ? ».
    - « Non, par Allah ! Puisses-tu vivre au prix de ma vie ! »
    - « Il en est de même pour les autres. Ils n'aimeraient pas voir leur mère commettre l'adultère. Aimerais-tu cela pour ta sœur ? ».
    - « Non, par Allah ! Puisses-tu vivre au prix de ma vie ! »
    - « Il en est de même pour les autres. Ils n'aimeraient pas voir leur sœur commettre l'adultère. Aimerais-tu cela pour ta tante paternelle ? »
    - « Non, par Allah ! Puisses-tu vivre au prix de ma vie ! »
    - « Il en est de même pour les autres. Ils n'aimeraient pas voir leur tante paternelle commettre l'adultère. Aimerais-tu cela pour ta tante maternelle ? »
    - « Non, par Allah ! Puisses-tu vivre au prix de ma vie »
    - « Il en est de même pour les autres. Ils n'aimeraient pas voir leur tante maternelle commettre l'adultère ».
    Enfin, le Prophète () posa sa main sur la poitrine du jeune homme et invoqua Allah, exalté soit-Il, en sa faveur en disant :
    « Allahomma tahhir qalbah wa ighfir dhanbah wa hassin farjah»
    (Ô Allah ! Pardonne ses péchés, purifie son cœur et préserve sa chasteté)
    Depuis lors, ce jeune homme ne tomba dans aucune tentation. (Ahmed).


    Il se souciait () de cacher leurs défauts

    Aïcha, qu'Allah soit satisfait d'elle, rapporta que son ancienne esclave, Barîra, qu'Allah soit satisfait d'elle, lui demanda de l'acheter afin de l'affranchir après. Elle lui dit alors :
    - « Si tu veux, je paie tes maîtres pourvu que le wala (patronage) soit à moi »
    Or, les maîtres de Barîra stipulèrent :
    - « Si tu veux, nous l'affranchissons pourvu que nous en conservions le wala »
    Lorsque le Messager d'Allah () arriva, Aïcha, qu'Allah soit satisfait d'elle, lui raconta cette affaire, et telle fut sa réplique :
    - « Achète-la, puis affranchis-la. Certes, c'est à celui qui affranchit que le wala est réservé »
    Ensuite, il se leva, monta sur le minbar et, s'adressant aux gens, il dit :
    - « Qu'ont donc certaines personnes à stipuler des conditions qui n'existent pas dans le Livre d'Allah. Quiconque stipule une condition qui ne se conforme pas aux consignes du Livre d'Allah, elle n'est pas légitime, fût-ce-telle répétée cent fois. Ce qu'Allah a stipulé est plus juste, et la condition qu'Allah a imposée est plus sûre. Le wala n'appartient certes qu'à celui qui a affranchi » (Boukhari et Mouslim).

    Anas, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, rapporta qu'un groupe de personnes vinrent chez les femmes du Prophète () pour les interroger sur la façon dont le Prophète adorait son Seigneur, exalté soit-Il, en secret. Quand elles les en informèrent, cela leur sembla peu. Ils dirent :
    - « Que sommes-nous par rapport au Prophète alors qu'Allah lui a déjà pardonné tous ses péchés passés et futurs ? »
    L'un d'eux dit :
    - « Pour ma part, je m'engage à passer toutes mes nuits en prières ».
    - « Et moi, je m'engage à jeûner sans interruption toute ma vie », dit l'autre.
    - « Moi je m'engage à ne jamais me marier », dit enfin le troisième.
    Le Messager d'Allah () vint alors les voir et leur dit :
    - « Est-ce bien vous qui avez dit ceci et cela ? En vérité, par Allah, je crains Allah bien plus que vous, et je suis le plus pieux de tous. Cependant, je jeûne un temps et je mange un temps, je prie une partie de la nuit et j'en dors une autre, et j'épouse les femmes. Celui qui se détourne alors de ma voie n'est pas de ma communauté ! » (Boukhari et Mouslim).

    Selon Aïcha, qu'Allah soit satisfait d'elle, Le Prophète () accomplit quelque chose qu'il jugea dès lors valide (ce qui implique qu'Allah le lui avait permis). Cependant, un certain nombre de ses Compagnons rechignèrent à faire la même chose. Mis au courant, le Prophète () fit un prône qu'il commença en faisant des louanges à Allah, exalté soit-Il, puis il dit :
    - « Qu'ont donc certaines personnes à rechigner à accomplir un acte que j'ai fait. Par Allah, je suis celui qui sait le mieux ce qu'Allah autorise ou interdit et nul ne redoute Allah autant que moi » (Boukhari).

    Il se souciait () de corriger leurs erreurs

    D'après Abou Wâqid al-Laythi, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, lorsque le Messager d'Allah () avançait (avec ses Compagnons) vers Hunayn, il passa par un arbre que les idolâtres vénéraient. C'est aux branches de cet arbre, appelé Thât Anwât, qu'ils suspendaient leurs armes.
    - « Ô Messager d'Allah ! Veux-tu nous choisir un arbre tel que Thât Anwât ? », demandèrent-ils au Messager d'Allah () ; il () leur dit :

    - « Allah est plus Grand ! Vous me dites ce que le peuple de Mûsâ (Moïse) lui avait dit : « Désigne-nous une divinité semblable à leurs dieux ». Par Celui qui tient mon âme entre Ses mains, vous adopteriez certes toutes les coutumes de vos prédécesseurs ! » (al-Tirmithî)

    Quant à 'Abdallah ibn 'Amr, qu'Allah soit satisfait de lui, il rapporta qu'un homme vint voir le Messager d'Allah () et lui dit :
    - « Je suis venu te prêter serment d'allégeance pour émigrer avec toi. J'ai laissé mes parents en train de pleurer » Et telle fut la réponse du Messager d'Allah () : - « (Avant de me prêter serment) retourne chez tes parents, et fais-les rire comme tu les a fait pleurer ». (Abou Daoud, al-Nasâ'î et Ibn Mâdjah).

    ‫حزن الصحابة لوفاة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم

    لما أكمل الله الدين وأتم النعمة على المسلمين، أجرى الله على نبيه ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ سنته الماضية في خلقه: { كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ } (آل عمران: 185)، فتُوفِّيَّ نبينا ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ في يوم الاثنين الثاني عشر من ربيع الأول من السنة الحادية عشرة من الهجرة، وله ثلاث وستون سنة، وقال ابن حجر: " وكانت وفاته يوم الاثنين بلا خلاف من ربيع الأول، وكاد يكون إجماعاً .. ثم عند ابن إسحاق والجمهور أنها في الثاني عشر منه ".

    وهذا اليوم لم يُرَ في تاريخ الإسلام أظلم منه، فكما كان يوم مولده أسعد وأشرق يوم طلعت عليه الشمس، كان يوم وفاته أشد الأيام وحشة وظلاما ومصابا على المسلمين، بل والبشرية جمعاء، قال أنس بن مالك ـ رضي الله عنه ـ: " ما رأيت يوماً قط كان أحسن ولا أضوأ من يوم دخل علينا فيه رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ، وما رأيت يوماً كان أقبح ولا أظلم من يوم مات فيه رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ".

    وفي رواية أحمد قال أنس: ( لما كان اليوم الذي قدم فيه رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ المدينة أضاء منها كل شيء، فلما كان اليوم الذي مات فيه أظلم منها كل شيء، وقال: ما نفضنا عن رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الأيدي حتى أنكرنا قلوبنا ) .

    وقد أشار النبي ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ على عظم مصيبة موته فقال: ( يا أيها الناس: أيما أحد من الناس أو من المؤمنين أصيب بمصيبة فليتعز بمصيبته بي عن المصيبة التي تصيبه بغيري، فإن أحدا من أمتي لن يصاب بمصيبة بعدي أشد عليه من مصيبتي ) رواه ابن ماجه .
    وذلك لأن وفاته ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ليست كوفاة سائر الناس أو الأنبياء، إذ بموته ـ صلوات الله وسلامه عليه ـ انتهت النبوات، وانقطع الوحي عن الأرض .
    قال السندي: " (فليتعزّ) يخفِّف على نفسه مؤونة تلك المصيبة بتذكّر هذه المصيبة العظيمة، إذ الصّغيرة تضمحلّ في جنب الكبيرة، فحيث صبر على الكبيرة لا ينبغي أن يبالي بالصّغيرة ".
    وعن أبي بردة ـ رضي الله عنه ـ قال: قال رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ: ( النجوم أمنة للسماء، فإذا ذهبت النجوم أتى السماءَ ما توعد، وأنا أمَنَةٌ لأصحابي، فإذا ذهبتُ أتى أصحابي ما يوعدون، وأصحابي أمنةٌ لأمتي، فإذا ذهب أصحابي أتى أمتي ما يوعدون ) رواه مسلم .
    قال النووي: " وقوله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ( وأنا أمنة لأصحابي، فإذا ذهبت أتى أصحابي ما يوعدون ) أي من الفتن والحروب وارتداد من ارتد من الأعراب، واختلاف القلوب ونحو ذلك مما أنذر به صريحا، وقد وقع كل ذلك .. قوله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ: ( وأصحابي أمنة لأمتي فإذا ذهب أصحابي أتى أمتي ما يوعدون ) معناه من ظهور البدع والحوادث في الدين " .

    اصبر لكـل مصيـبة وتجلَّد واعلـم بأن المـرء غير مخلَّـد
    واصبر كما صبر الكرام فإنها نُوبٌ تنوب اليوم تكشف في غد
    أو ما ترى أن المصائب جمـة وترى المنيـة للعبـاد بمرصـد
    فإذا أتتك مصيبة تشجى بها فاذكر مصـابك بالنبي محمـد

    وعن عائشة ـ رضي الله عنها ـ : ( أن رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مات وأبو بكر بالسُّنح، فقام عمر يقول: والله ما مات رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ، قالت: وقال عمر: والله ما كان يقع في نفسي إلا ذاك، وليبعثنَّه الله فليقطعن أيدي رجال وأرجلهم، فجاء أبو بكر فكشف عن رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فقبله، قال: بأبي أنت وأمي طبت حياً وميتاً، والذي نفسي بيده لا يذيقك الله الموتتين أبداً، ثم خرج فقال: أيها الحالف على رِسْلِك، فلما تكلم أبو بكر جلس عمر، فحمد الله أبو بكر وأثنى عليه وقال: " ألا من كان يعبد محمداً ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فإن محمداً قد مات، ومن كان يعبد الله فإن الله حي لا يموت "، وقال: { إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ }(الزمر:30)، وقال: { وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئاً وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ }(آل عمران:144)، فنشج الناس يبكون ) رواه البخاري .

    قال ابن عباس ـ رضي الله عنهما ـ: " والله لكأن الناس لم يكونوا يعلمون أن الله أنزلها حتى تلاها أبو بكر ـ رضي الله عنه ـ، فتلقاها منه الناس، فما يسمع بشر إلا يتلوها " .
    وقال عمر: " فوالله لكأني لم أتل هذه الآية قط " .
    قال ابن رجب: " ولما توفي ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ اضطرب المسلمون، فمنهم من دهش فخولط، ومنهم من أقعد فلم يطق القيام، ومنهم من اعتقل لسانه فلم يطق الكلام، ومنهم من أنكر موته بالكلية " .

    وعن عائشة ـ رضي الله عنها ـ: ( أن أبا بكر ـ رضي الله عنه ـ دخل على النبي ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بعد وفاته فوضع فمه بين عينيه، ووضع يديه على صدغيه، وقال: ( وا نبياه، وا خليلاه، وا صفياه ، صدق الله ورسوله { إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ }(الزمر:30) { وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَرٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ الْخُلْدَ أَفَإِنْ مِتَّ فَهُمُ الْخَالِدُونَ }(الأنبياء:34)، { كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَائِقَةُ الْمَوْتِ }(آل عمران: من الآية185) ) رواه أحمد .
    قال عثمان: توفي رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فحزن عليه رجال من أصحابه حتى كان بعضهم يوسوس، فكنت ممن حزن عليه، فبينما أنا جالس في أطم من آطام المدينة - وقد بويع أبو بكر ـ إذ مَرَّ بي عمر فسلم عليَّ، فلم أشعر به لِمَا بي من الحزن " .
    ويقول أنس ـ رضي الله عنه ـ: " قلّ ليلة تأتي عليَّ إلا وأنا أرى فيها خليلي عليه السلام ـ، ويقول ذلك وتدمع عيناه " .
    قال أبو ذؤيب الهذلي: " قدمت المدينة ولأهلها ضجيج بالبكاء كضجيج الحجيج أهلوا جميعاً بالإحرام، فقلت: مه؟!، فقالوا: قُبِض رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " .
    لكن حزن الصحابة وعظيم المصاب لم يخرجهم عن الصبر والتصبر إلى النواح والجزع، فعن قيس بن عاصم قال حين موته: " لا تنوحوا عليَّ، فإن رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ لم يُنَح عليه " .

    ومما قاله حسان بن ثابت ـ رضي الله عنه ـ يبكي رسول الله ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ:

    ما بال عينك لا تنام كأنها كُحِلت مآقيها بكحل الأرمد
    جزعا على المهدي أصبح ثاويًا يا خير من وطئ الحصى لا تبعد
    وجهي يقيك الترب لهفي ليتني غُيِّبْتُ قبلك في بقيع الغرقد
    بأبي وأمي من شهدْتُ وفاته في يوم الاثنين النبي المهتدى
    فظللتُ بعد وفاته متبلدا متلددا يا ليتني لم أولد
    أأقيم بعدك بالمدينة بينهم؟! يا ليتيي صُبِّحْت سُمَّ الأسود

    وقال أبو بكر الصديق ـ رضي الله عنه ـ :

    لما رأيت نبينا متجندلاً ضاقت عليَّ بعرضهن الدورُ
    فارتاع قلبي عند ذاك لموته والعظم مني - ما حييت - كسير
    أعتيق ويحك!! إن خلك قد ثوى والصبر عندك -ما بقيت- يسير
    يا ليتني من قبل مهلك صاحبي غُيبت في لحد عليه صخور
    فلتحدثن بدائع من بعده تعيا لهن جوانحُ وصدور

    وقال عمر ـ رضي الله عنه ـ :

    لمّا رأيت النّاس هدّ جميعهم صوتٌ ينادي بالنّعيّ فيسمع
    وسمعتُ صوتا قبل ذلك هدّني عبّاس ينعاه بصوت يقطع
    فليبكهِ أهل المدائن كلّها والمسلمون بكلّ أرض تُجدع

    ورثاه أبو سفيان بن الحارث بن عبد المطلب ـ رضي الله عنه ـ، فقال:

    لَقَدْ عَظُمَتْ مُصِيبَتُنَا وَجَلَّتْ عَشِيَّةَ قِيلَ قَدْ قُبِضَ الرَّسُولُ
    وَأَضْحَتْ أَرْضُنَا مِمَّا عَـرَاهَا تَكَادَ بِنَـا جَوَانِبُهَا تَمِيـلُ
    فَقَدْنَا الْوَحَيَ وَالتَّنْزِيلَ فِينَـا يَرُوحُ بِهِ وَيَغْـدُو جِبْرَائِيـلُ
    وَذَاكَ أَحَقُّ مَا سَالَتْ عَلَيْهِ نُفُوسُ النَّاسِ أَوْ كَـادَتْ تَسِيلُ
    نَبِيٌّ كَانَ يَجْلُو الشَّكَ عَنَّا بِمَا يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ وَمَـا يَقُـولُ
    وَيَهْدِينَا فَلاَ نَخْشَى ضَلاَلاً عَلَيْنَا وَالرَّسُـولُ لَنَـا دَلِيـلُ
    أَفَاطِمُ إِنْ جَزَعْتِ فَذَاكَ عُذْرٌ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَجْزَعِي ذَاكَ السَّبِيلُ
    فَقَبْرُ أَبِيكِ سَيِّدُ كُلِّ قَبْرٍ وَفِيهِ سِيِّـدُ النَّـاسِ الرَّسُـولُ

    إن كل مصيبة دون مصيبتنا بموته ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ تهون، إذ بموته ـ صلوات الله وسلامه عليه ـ انقطع الوحي من السماء إلى يوم القيامة، وانقطعت النبوات، فهو أول انقطاع عُرَى الدين ونقصانه، ومن ثم ففي موته ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ غاية التسلية عن كل مصيبة تصيب العبد أو تحلُّ بأمة الإسلام جمعاء، وقد شاءت حكمة الله تعالى أن يكون قضاؤه في تجرع الموت بشدته وآلامه أمرا عاما لكل أحد، مهما كانت درجة قربه من الله، حتى يدرك الناس أنه لو كان أحد سلم من الموت لسلم منه خير البشر وأفضل الخلق ـ صلوات الله وسلامه عليه -، قال الله تعالى: {إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ مَيِّتُونَ} (الزمر:30). منقول‬
