    Lass das Jenseits deine wichtigste Sorge sein!

    Ibn Qayyim rahimahullah sagte:
    "Wenn ein Mensch von morgens bis abends keine andere Sorge hat außer einzig (das Wohlgefallen von) Allah, so wird Allah, subhanahu wa taala) sich um all seine Bedürfnisse kümmern und Er wird ihm seine ganzen Sorgen abnehmen. Er wird sein Herz rein halten, damit es nur Ihn liebt, und seine Zunge, damit sie nur Ihm gedenkt, und seinen Körper, damit er sich nur für Seinen Gehorsam einsetzt. Wenn der Mensch aber von morgens bis abends keine andere Sorge hat als das diesseitige Leben, dann wird Allah ihn den Kummer und die Sorgen des Diesseits sowie ihre Leiden alleine überlassen. So wird sein Herz von der Liebe Allahs abgelenkt, und anstatt Ihn zu lieben, widmet er seine Liebe den Geschöpfen. Und auch seine Zunge wird vom Gedenken Allahs abgelenkt, und anstatt Ihm zu gedenken, erwähnt sie nur andere. Und auch sein Körper wird vom Gehorsam gegenüber Allah abgelenkt, und anstatt ihm Gehorsam zu leiten, ist er damit beschäfitgt, ihnen (den Menschen) zu dienen und ihren Angelegenheiten nachzugehen. So müht er sich ab wie ein Tier, um anderen außer Allah Dienste zu erweisen. Jeder, der sich von der hingebungsvollen Dienerschaft für Allah, vom Gehorsam gegenüber Allah, von der Liebe für Allah und vom Dienst für Allah abwendet, der wird damit gestraft, dass er stattdessen den Geschöpfen seine hingebungsvolle Dienerschaft, seine Liebe und seine Dienste widmet. Allah, der Erhabene, sagt: "Wer für die Ermahnung des Allerbarmers blind ist, dem verschaffen Wir einen Satan, der Ihm dann zum Gesellen wird.." (Koran 43:36)

    Are the regimes of Iran and Saudi Arabia two sides of the same coin?

    Both regimes claim Islamic legitimacy - and yet have nothing to do with Islamic politics. The Iranian regime is concerned with national interests while playing with sectarian politics. The Saudi monarchy is concerned with protecting its throne, while playing with sectarian politics.

    Both regimes have a coterie of unholy scholars that dress them in a veneer of legitimacy, and have blind supporters who view each other as the greatest threat to their "version" of Islam.

    Both regimes claim to be pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli, while both are happy to collaborate with Israel when it suits them (generally against each other - such as with the Iran-Contra affair deal arming the Iranians against Saddam Hussein who was at the time supported by Saudi, and contemporary Saudi-Israel relations improving due to increased fear of Iranian influence in the region).

    Finally, the true nature of both regimes has been exposed by recent events - with the Iranian regime backing the bloody Assad regime for the sake of national interest, and the Saudi regime backing the bloody Egyptian coup for the sake of protecting their throne.

    So are the two regimes more similar than at first glance?
