Das Gericht, in der überwiegend muslimischen Region "Xinjiang" hat einen Muslim wegen "Unruhestiftung" (dem Tragen des Barts) zu sechs Jahren Gefängnis verurteilt, so berichteten lokale Medien. Wie die "China Youth Daily" berichtet, hat das Gericht von Kashgar neben dem 38-Jährigen auch seine Frau wegen des Tragens islamischer Kleidung, welche - wie es im Urteil angegeben wird - auch ihr Gesicht verdeckte, verurteilt. Oft unverständlich und rechtlich vage Urteile sind in China keine Seltenheit, und so auch in diesem Fall! In dem die Straftat der zwei Muslime wie "Unruhestiftung und Ärgernis" beschrieben wird. In den letzten Jahren führen die Behörden in dieser Provinz eine Kampagne, in welcher für Männer das Tragen des Barts kritisiert, verboten und bestraft wird. So wie auch die islamische Kleidung für Frauen, welcher als religiöser Extremismus bezeichnet wird. Die Kampagne selbst, mit dem Titel "Project Beauty", fordert die Muslime in dieser Provinz dazu auf, dass sie die Bedeckung und die islamische Kleidung, - welche bei den uhigurischen Muslimen sehr präsent ist- zu verwerfen. Diese (die Muslime) stellen die Mehrheit der ethnischen Bevölkerung in Xinjiang da! Ein Ehepaar aus der Stadt Kashgar, wie von lokalen Medien zitiert, wurde mehrmals von Seiten der Behörden abgemahnt, doch sie stellten sich taub auf reagierten nicht auf die Warnungen. Wonach es dann zur Verhaftung und erwähnten Verurteilung kam. Dass dies nicht das einzige Beispiel ist, verbergen nicht mal die Behörden in Kashagru. So räumte die "China Youth Daily" ein, dass es seit Beginn dieses Jahres mehr Festnahmen auf Grundlage dieses Urteils gab. Menschenrechtsgruppen glauben, dass die Repression, die in Peking gegen Muslime, des rohstoffreichen Xinjianga verübt wird ein Resultat der erhöhten Spannungen in der Provinz sind. Die Gewalt ist auf dem Vormarsch. Im vergangen Jahr wurden um die 200 Menschen, meist durch Bombenanschläge und Zusammenstößen mit Sicherheitskräften, getötet. Peking beschuldigt "Separatisten und islamische Extremisten". Im April vergangenen Jahres bot die Stadtverwaltung von Shaya auch eine Belohnung für Informationen über Muslime, die ihr Aussehen durch das Tragen des Bart und dem Tragen islamischer Kleidung veränderten. Ṣafer) ist der zweite Monat des islâmischen Kalenders und folgt als solcher dem Monat Muḥarram (tr. Muḥarrem). Dem Ṣafar wiederum folgt der Rabî' al-auwal (tr. Rebiülevvel) Geehrte Verfolger, ich möchte euch darauf aufmerksam machen, dass es sehr schwer ist solche Schriften zu übersetzen. Dafür muss man beide Sprachen (die Originale, und die in die übersetzt wird) beherrschen können. Vorallem sind solche Schriften meistens in Kunstprosa verfasst, was die genaue Übersetzung noch schwieriger macht.
