Er wendet sich zu seinem Herrn und hat fünfmal täglich ein Treffen mit Ihm. Das wiederholte Stehen vor Allah hält die Person vor sündigen Taten während des Tages zurück. Darüber hinaus sollte es auch eine Zeit der Einsicht und der Reue sein, so dass sie Allah aufrichtig um Vergebung ihrer Sünden, die sie begangen hat, bittet. Außerdem ist das Gebet selbst eine gute Tat, die einige der schlechten Taten, die sie getan hat, hinweg wischt. Diese Dinge werden in folgendem Hadith des Propheten, Gottes Segen und Frieden seien mit ihm, erwähnt: "Wenn jemand einen Fluss vor seiner Tür hätte, und er würde dort fünfmal am Tag baden, denkt ihr, es würde noch etwas Schmutz an ihm bleiben?" Die Menschen sagten: "Kein Schmutz würde mehr an ihm bleiben." Der Prophet sagte dann: "Das ist wie bei den fünf täglichen Gebeten: Allah wischt die Sünden durch sie fort."
