    Egzoni në Siri kishte shkuar për të luftuar si muxhahid, mirëpo ai nuk u rikthye më në Norvegji, aty edhe ku jetonte, por mbetiatje mes luftimeve që janë duke u bërë në këtë vend. Ai si shumë të tjerë e morën rrugën e Sirisë me besim se Siria është vendi i bekuar për xhihad.
