Dr. Umar Rolf Freiherr von Ehrenfels (Österreich), Professor für Anthropologie
Rolf Freiherr ist der einzige Sohn des verstorbenen Baron Christian Ehrenfels, des Gründers der modernen Gestaltungs-Physiologie in Österreich. Schon mit jungen Jahren hat er sich mit dem Islam beschäftigt. Seine Schwester Imma von Bodmesrhof hat in ihrem Werk, welches 1953 in Lahor veröffentlicht wurde, die Interesse i...hres Bruders besonders lang erklärt. Rolf hat als Jugendlicher die Türkei, Albanien, Griechenland und Yugoslawien besucht und dor mit den Moslems kontaktiert.
Er hat in diesen Orten in den Moscheen gebetet obwohl er ein Christ war. Zuletzt hat sein Interesse zum Islam ihn dazugeführt, dass er 1927 zum Islam wechselte und den Namen Umar nahm. 1932 besuchte er Indien und veröffentlichte das Buch „Die Frau im Islam".
Als die Nazideutschen im zweiten Weltkrieg Österreich überfielen, floh Rolf nach Indien. 1949 wurde er Professor an der Universität Madras.
Dr. Umar Rolf Freiherr von Ehrenfels schrieb:
Sie fragen warum ich ein Moslem geworden bin. Die Gründe meiner Entscheidung sind unten gelistet:
1. Der Islam hat alle positiven Bereiche aller Religionen in sich vereinigt. Jede Religion möchte, dass die Menschheit in Ruhe und Friede lebt. Jedoch keiner der Religionen kann dies so gut wie der Islam erklären. Der Islam befiehlt einen Glauben an ALLAH in vollem Maße.
2. Wenn die Geschichte studiert wird, sieht man, dass der Islam wirklich die letzte Religion ALLAH´s ist. Es stellt sich auch heraus, dass es keine andere richtige Religion mehr geben wird. Mohammed (s.a.v) hat den Islam den Menschen erklärt und ist der letzte Prophet. Einer der sich zum Islam bekehrt wird seine alte Religion verlassen. Jedoch ist dieser Wechsel nicht so schwierig wie es aussieht. In jeder Religion sind die Glaubenslinien gleich. Der Koran akzeptiert alle vorherigen Religionen ALLAH´s. Jedoch der Islam verbessert die mit der Zeit entstandenen Fehler. Der Islam akzeptiert die originale Religion Jesus und erklärt Mohammed (s.a.v) als letzter Prophet. Der Islam ist die vollkommene Religion aller Religionen. Die Menschen sind wegen finanzielle und andere Profits Feinde geworden. Um einen Profit erreichen zu können haben einige ihre Religion ausgenützt. Wenn mit Aufmerksamkeit überprüft wird, werden alte Religionen ALLAH´s vom Islam anerkannt. Jedoch diese Religionen wurden von Menschenhand verändert und verfälscht.
3. Die Bruderschaft zwischen den Menschen ist in keiner Religion hoch gestellt wie im Islam. Egal welcher Abstammung, welcher Nationalität, welcher Hautfarbe und welcher Sprachangehörigkeit der Islam verbindet alle Moslems zu Brüder. Diese Größe gibt es im keiner Religion.
4. Der Islam ist eine Religion, der den Frauen einen großen Wert legt. Der Islam hat der Frau den größten Wert gegeben. Unser Prophet Mohammed (s.a.v) sagte, dass der Himmel unter den Füßen der Mütter liegt.
All diese Sachen haben mich dazu gebracht, dass den Islam als meine Religion.
