Earnest and Glorious
Today, dear Brothers and Sisters, we are required to carry out this obligation, working for it while we are certain of the return of the rightly guided Khilafah as it once began, confirming the saying of the Prophet (saw): "ثم تكون خلافة على منهاج النبوة" "Then there will be a Khilafah on the method of Prophethood." That day we will be honored like the believing ones who preceded us, we will be victorious as they were victorious, and we will meet Allah and He will be pleased with us. We will die having given the pledge of alliance to a Khaleefah who rules by Islam. This Bayah upon our necks will bear good witness for us, so we do not die a death of Jahiliya for not working for the Khilafah earnestly and glorified, truthful to Allah and His Messenger.

Obamas weniger gute Taten
Dazu zählen - unter anderem - die über 5000 Toten durch Drohnenangriffe (US-Senator Lindsey Graham hat im Februar eingeräumt, dass schätzungsweise 4.700 Menschen durch Drohnenangriffe der USA getötet worden sind, die tatsächliche Zahl dürfte weitaus höher liegen). Unter den Opfern sind weit über 100 Kinder. Wen interessieren diese Toten? Westliche Medien beschäftigen sich lieber mit Busenblitzern diverser Stars und begnadigten Truthähnen. (MF)

Die Zeit
Die Zeit läuft uns davon. Mit jeder Sekunde, die vergeht; vergeht ein Moment, der wertvoll ist. An jenem Tag wird der Mensch denken, er habe nicht länger als eine Stunde im Diesseits verweilt, subhanAllâh [Vgl. Quran, Sure 10:45]. Wie wird es dem Menschen dann dabei ergehen, begreifen zu müssen, dass diese eine Stunde entscheidet, ob Hölle oder Paradies? Wie groß vermag die Furcht sein, wenn diese eine Stunde die vollständige Antwort für die Ewigkeit bedeutet? Wie herzzerreißend muss die Reue sein, einzusehen, dass man vielleicht das ewige Wohlbefinden wegen einer einzigen Stunde, sechzig Minuten, 3600 Sekunden verliert?
Allâh schenkte uns Verstand, um ihn zu nutzen. Er schenkte uns Worte der Zukunft, um vorausschauend zu blicken. Mit jeder einzelnen Warnung vermittelt Er uns Seine Liebe, um uns zu schützen.
So frage ich Dich, auf was wartest Du?
Während Du auf die Zeit wartest, so wartet sie wahrlich nicht auf Dich. Greife nach der Zeit, ehe sie Dich ergreift. Stehe auf und lasse Worte – ob Wünsche oder Träume – Taten folgen; ehe Worte und Taten anderer folgen, die nichts anderes für Dich tun können als das Totengebet für Dich zu beten.
Muss ich Dich jetzt etwa immer noch zu Deinem Glück zwingen oder worauf wartest Du noch? Stehe auf, los!

mujahid - Social Mention: Kisah Muallaf Knud Valdemar, Muallaf Menjadi Mujahid Lalu Syahid Insya Allah Knud Valdemar Gylding Halmboe lahir pada 22 April 1902, sebagai anak tertua dari keluarga pedagang yang terpandang di kota Horsens, Denmark. Sejak remaja, Knud sudah tertarik dengan ilmu filsafat dan agama dan dalam usia muda, Knud sudah bekerja sebagai wartawan magang dan menulis untuk sejumlah koran lokal di Denmark. Pada usia 20 tahun, Knud menyatakan memeluk agama Katolik dan tinggal di sebuah seminari di Clairvaux, Prancis. Dengan cepat ia membaur dalam kehidupan biara dan ingin memperdalam ilmu agamanya ke tempat lain. Tahun 1924, ia pun pergi ke Maroko dan di negara inilah ia malah mengenal Islam. Knud sering menemui seorang syaikh di sebuah masjid kecil di kawasan pegunungan di negara itu. Dari pertemuan-pertemuan itu, Knud menyadari bahwa hatinya terpaut pada Islam. Setahun kemudian, ia pun mengucapkan dua kalimat syahadat. Pulang ke Denmark, Knud menerbitkan buku pertamanya "Poems" berisi tulisan-tulisannya tentang kematian, kehidupan, keyakinan dan gurun pasir. Tak lama setelah buku pertama, Knud menerbitkan buku tentang pengalamannya selama tinggal di Maroko berjudul "Between the Devil and The Deep Sea – a dash by plane to seething Morocco". Tahun 1925, Knud melakukan perjalanan ke Timur Tengah, mulai dari Suriah, Palestina, Yordania, Irak dan Persia. Ia menyaksikan sendiri pertikaian politik di Baghdad dan Palestina, yang menjadi cikal bakal ketidakstabilan situasi Timur Tengah hingga sekarang. Setelah Timur Tengah, pada tahun 1927, ia mengunjungi kawasan Balkan bersama isterinya yang baru dinikahinya. Di Albania, ia menyaksikan bagaimana orang-orang Italia menindas komunitas Muslim. Knud menulis dan mengirimkan banyak artikel serta foto apa yang ia saksikan di Albania ke media massa di Denmark. Salah satunya yang memicu kontroversial adalah artikel Knud tentang tindakan penguasa Italia menggantung seorang pendeta Katolik terkemuka Albania. Cerita itu menyebar ke seluruh Eropa dan membuat otoritas Italia marah besar. Saat kembali ke Denmark, Knud mencoba keberuntungannya dengan menjadi editor di sebuah koran lokal. Tapi kesulitan ekonomi membuatnya memilih meninggalkan Denmark. Bersama istrinya, Nora dan puterinya, Aisha, Knud pindah ke Maroko. Knud juga mengganti namanya menjadi Ali Ahmed El Gheseiri, yang merupakan terjemahan bebas nama asli Knud ke dalam bahasa Arab. Ikut Jihad Melawan Italia Tahun 1930, Knud melakukan perjalanan yang membuatnya menjadi terkenal. Dengan menggunakan mobil Chevrolet model 1929 dari Maroko melintasi gurun Sahara menuju Mesir. Saat melewati Libya, Knud lagi-lagi menyaksikan perlakun buruk penguasa Italia yang saat itu menjajah Libya, terhadap masyarakat Muslim di negeri itu. Orang-orang Italia itu menggantung, mengeksekusi, menyerang, menyiksa penduduk Muslim serta merusak sumber nafkah mereka sehingga penduduk Muslim di Libya hidup dalam kemiskinan.. Knud menulis dan mengambil foto-foto apa yang disaksikannya di Libya. Penguasa Italia di Libya tidak tinggal diam. Mereka menangkap Knud di kota Derna dan mengusir Knud dari Libya. Sejak itu, Knud memutuskan untuk bergabung dengan gerakan perlawanan rakyat Libya yang dipimpin oleh Syaikh Omar Al-Mokhtar. Knud tetap melanjutkan perjalanannya ke Mesir. Di negeri Piramida itu, ia berjuang keras meyakinkan masyarakat Muslim di Mesir untuk membantu jihad muslim Libya melawan penjajahan Italia. Knud sedang bersiap-siap membawa bantuan dengan karavan ke kota Al-Kufra, Libya, ketika duta besar Italia untuk Mesir meminta otoritas Inggris dan Mesir menangkap dan menjebloskan Knud ke penjara. Sebulan lamanya ia mendekam di penjara, lalu dipulangkan dengan kapal laut ke negara asalnya, Denmark. Di Denmark, Knud menuliskan kekejaman penjajahan Italia di Libya dalam bukunya "Desert Encounter", yang dengan cepat menjadi buku terlaris di Denmark dan beberapa negara Eropa lainnya, serta di AS. Di Italia, buku itu dinyatakan terlarang hingga tahun 2004. Pemerintah Italia menghabiskan dana ribuan dollar untuk melakukan kampanye hitam terhadap buku Knud tersebut dan memanfaatkan media massa di Italia untuk membantah semua tulisan-tulisan Knud tentang kejahatan perang Italia di Libya. Tahun 1931, Knud kembali melakukan perjalanan. Kali ini ia berencana ke Mekkah untuk menunaikan ibadah haji. Dalam perjalanannya, ia menyempatkan diri bertemu dengan para pemimpin dan tokoh perlawanan Libya yang diasingkan ke Turki, Yordania dan Suriah. Saat berada di Suriah, masyarakat Arab sedang melakukan demonstrasi besar-besaran di depan kantor konsulat Italia di Damaskus. Lagi-lagi Knud diusir dari Suriah. Knud boleh masuk ke Yordania dan melanjutkan perjalanannya ke Mekkah, setelah kantor konsulat Denmark di Istanbul menyampaikan proters keras atas perlakuan terhadap Knud. Dibunuh Saat Menuju Mekkah Pemerintah Italia masih menyimpan rasa khawatir terhadap Knud. Mereka takut Knud akan menyerukan jihad melawan Italia sesampainya di Mekkah. Untuk itu, Italia melakukan berbagai cara untuk mencegah Knud agar tak sampai ke Mekkah. Knud mengalami berbagai macam percobaan pembunuhan ketika masih berada di Amman, Yordania. Namun Knud tetap pada rencananya semula untuk pergi ke Mekkah. Ia membeli seekor unta dan melanjutkan perjalanannya ke Aqaba. Di sini, ia harus menunggu izin masuk ke wilayah Kerajaan Saudi. Tanggal 11 Oktober 1931, Knud meninggalkan untanya di dekat perbatasan Saudi. Ia konon sedang bermalam di dekat oasis Haql ketika sekelompok suku Arab Badui mendatanginya. Suku di Saudi itu dikenal sebagai sekutu orang-orang Italia yang menguasai wilayah itu. Mereka menyuruh Knud untuk melanjutkan perjalanan sendirian dan di tengah jalan antara Al-Haql dan Humayda, Knud diserang dan disergap. Tapi malam itu juga, Knud berhasil meloloskan diri, ia berenang menjauhi bibir pantai. Saat kelelahan dan terdapar di sebuah pesisir pantai, suku Arab Badui menemukan Knud dan langsung menembaknya hingga tewas. Usia Knud saat itu baru 29 tahun. Jenazahnya dikubur di dekat pantai. Petugas perbatasan Yordania Arif Saleem berusaha mengejar seorang syaikh, pemimpin kelompok yang dicurigai sebagai pelaku pembunuhan terhadap Knud. Saleem berhasil menangkapnya di wilayah Aqaba dan menginterogasinya selama beberapa jam. Tapi atas perintah komandan pasukan Inggris John Glubb, syaikh itu akhirnya dibebaskan. Beberapa bulan kemudian, tersiar kabar bahwa sejumlah anggota suku yang membunuh Knud, melakukan bunuh diri massal ketika tentara-tentara yang setia dengan Raja Ibnu Saud menghancurkan kamp-kamp mereka. Tulisan, buku-buku dan foto-foto karya Knud menjadi warisan bersejarah yang sangat penting. Setelah Perang Dunia II usai, Italia diseret ke pengadilan internasional, tapi masyarakat Muslim di Libya tidak pernah menerima kompensasi atas kekejaman yang dilakukan pemerintah Italia selama menjajah Libya. Jenazah Knud juga tidak pernah dipulangkan ke Denmark.
