    Al-Nusra feeds Aleppo dogs with Syrian soldiers' bodies

    Terrorist al-Nusra Front in Syria says it feeds dogs with bodies of Syrian soldiers to scare people from faith of those who supported their army and government.

    Al-Manara al-Bayda which is al-Nusra's official media channel has posted a statement by the group's leaders accompanied by a picture depicting body of a slain Syrian soldier which being torn apart by a dog in Tel al-Tiyara in Aleppo.

    Moussa al-Harbi, one of the Saudi members of the al-Nusra Front, wrote in his Twitter account that, "Al-Nusra Front throws bodies in front of dogs to terrify hearts of the enemies".

    "Al-Nusra Front feeds Aleppo dogs with Shabihas' bodies (people supporting the Syrian army) so that no one says a dog is hungry in the Muslim lands," he wrote.

    He also wrote that this is where Shias end up.

    Aleppo is the main bastion of Saudi-backed militants which is reportedly headed by Saudi intelligence chief Prince Bandar Bin Sultan.

    Al-Nusra Front, which is al-Qaeda's main armed force fighting on the ground in Syria and most powerful part of the Western-backed free Syrian army has been responsible for making the most atrocious and inhuman scenes in the bloody war in Syria.

    Video of an al-Nusra member eating organs off the body of a Syrian soldier shocked the world and was followed by human rights activists warning about crimes that are making different definitions for brutality.
    There are many Syrians trapped in small towns and villages, ruled by al-Qaeda and other terrorist-in-nature groups, who witness cruel crimes almost every day.

    Many activists have been warning that life seems to have lost its meaning as the killers do not care who they are killing, a terrified girl, a crying boy, a desperate mother or a father who worries what would happen to his family after the attackers remove his head in front of them.

    The war in Syria goes on as the West and some Arab countries have not stopped funding and supporting the Syria militants which many Syrians see them as al-Qaeda's force.

    Qatar and Saudi Arabia have spent billions of dollars to fund the nearly three-year-old war while CIA operatives have been training more militants to send into Syria to topple the government.

    Typhoon Haiyan, which swept through the central Philippines was one of the strongest recorded storms ever to make landfall. Thousands of people were killed and the UN estimates some 11 million people were affected. But there have been complaints that aid is taking too long to reach survivors.

    There have been many news reports regarding the reasons behind the delay in aid. These reasons include: continued bad weather, security issues as looting began and also the fairness in the distribution of aid.

    I've been following the typhoon story and what amazes me is how the people in power have been reacting. Just like when other natural disasters have taken place the leaders of the affected land and leaders of the powerful West make statements of concern and that's pretty much all they do.

    Reading all this again, in regards to the latest typhoon, made me think about how Umar (ra) reacted in the Year of the Ashes. SubhanAllah only in Islamic history can we find leaders who not only spent nights crying to Allah to help their people in need but also physically went out to help.

    It's very clear from this what a just system can provide in comparison to the hypocritical capitalist systems of today.

    In the year 18H, a great drought overwhelmed the inhabitants of the Arabian Peninsula. There seemed no end to the drought, as people were on the verge of starvation. That year was called the year of the Ashes. It is noted Umar (ra) himself gave up meat and ghee until peoples lives improved. He said: "How will I come to care about the affairs of the people if I am not afflicted by that which afflicts them."

    Umar (ra) appointed a group of men to take care of the thousands of people that had come to Medinah looking for help and aid. Umar's (ra) workers began the task of cooking for the refugees. Umar (ra) was very organised, making sure that each worker knew exactly what his job was, in order to avoid redundancies. He (ra) also appointed another group of workers to station themselves in the various outskirts of Medinah - they supervised the distribution of food to refugees. In the evenings all the workers would meet with Umar informing with the updates of the day. Umar (ra) also requested help from Egypt and Ash-Sham. And subhanAllah Umar (ra) himself worked in the camps.

    It's not that Umar (ra) resolved the drought itself but his actions show his genuine care and concern, and like a true leader he put all his resources together to help his people fearing accountability to Allah.
