Residents of Bilin, a Palestinian village, have planted flowers in hundreds of spent Israeli tear gas grenades to honor those killed during their weekly protests against Israel's West Bank separation barrier.
Mohammed Khatib, a village organizer, said Wednesday that the unusual garden is meant to show that life can spring from death. Bilin has become a symbol of Palestinian protests against Israeli policies in the West Bank. The village's struggle to regain land taken by the barrier was the subject of "Five Broken Cameras," a documentary nominated for an Oscar last year.
The Bilin garden commemorates Bassem Abu Rahmeh, a protest leader who was killed in 2009 when a tear gas grenade struck him in the chest during a demonstration. Bassem's sister, Jawaher, died nearly two years later, a day after a weekly protest during which villagers said she inhaled Israeli tear gas.
During West Bank protests, Israeli troops often fire tear gas, stun grenades, rubber bullets and live rounds, portraying them as appropriate means against Palestinians.

Da das kürzlich übersetzte Video von Imam Jusuf Barcic für sehr viel Aussehen gesorgt hat, möchten wir kurz mal etwas loswerden:
KEINER VON UNS - Allah weiß am Besten - kennt die genauen Hintergründe und ja, es stimmt, man hätte vielleicht nicht so streng reagieren müssen.
Aber der Bruder (Imam Jusuf Barcic) ist nun mal schon tot und somit kann er das was er getan hat weder aufklären, noch es beim 'nächsten Mal' besser machen.
Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Die Brüder, die sich die Mühe gemacht haben und das ins Dt. übersetzt haben, hatten ihre Gründe und wir sollten aufhören, uns da zu tief hineinzusteigern.
Wenn z. B. ein Pierre Vogel & Co. mal emotional in einer Debatte werden kann, wieso dann nicht der Bruder Imam Jusuf Barcic? Der Bruder hat möglicherweise einen Fehler gemacht, den man vielleicht anprangern muss, aber zu ändern ist das Ganze nun mal auf nicht mehr. Und ein "Hätte", "Wäre", oder "Wenn" bringt uns und dem bereits verstorbenen Imam nichts.
In diesem Sinne: Barik Allahu Fikum liebe Geschwister im Deen!

Es geht im Moment eine Nachricht durch, dass Mr. Bean Muslim geworden ist.
DIES IST EINE LÜGE und wurde bewusst von einer israelischen Seite ins Netz gestellt und leider sind unsere Muslime sehr leichtgläubig und fallen in Extase sobald eine "Persönlichkeit" angeblich zum Islam konvertiert ist.

Salam Aleikum Wa Rahmatu Allah wa Barakatuh Liebe Geschwister.
Allah sagt: Sag zu Meinen Dienern, die glauben, sie sollen das Gebet verrichten und von dem,
womit Wir sie versorgt haben, heimlich und öffentlich (als Spende) ausgeben, bevor ein Tag kommt, an dem es weder Verkaufen noch Freundschaften gibt.)) (Koran 14:31)
Wir alle sehen Tag für Tag – und das seit unendlich erscheinenden Monaten – wie unsere Geschwister und deren Kinder in Syrien getötet, gefoltert, vergewaltigt und vertrieben werden.
Sie leiden jeden Tag – sie vergießen jeden Tag unzählige Tränen.
Unsere Welt scheint mehr als herzlos – denn es wird einfach nichts unternommen.
Sogar die Muslime schauen weg und überlegen noch ob sie wirklich etwas unternehmen können.
Haben wir alle vergessen was der Prophet sallalahu alley wa salam gesagt hat:
"Das Gleichnis der Überzeugten (arab.: Mu'miniin) in ihrer gegenseitigen Freundschaft und Barmherzigkeit sowie ihrem Mitgefühl füreinander ist wie der Körper eines Menschen: Wenn ein Glied leidet, so leidet der ganze Körper an Schlaflosigkeit und Fieber."

Abu Musa (ALLAHs Wohlgefallen mit ihm) berichtete: Allahs Gesandter (ALLAHs Segen und Frieden mit ihm) sagte, während er seine Finger ineinander verschränkte:"Die Gläubigen sind wie ein Gebäude. Einer stützt den anderen."
Allah sagt: "Wahrlich die Gläubigen sind Brüder." (49:10)
Die Lage unserer Geschwister in Syrien muss unsere Herzen doch berühren? Es muss uns doch zum Weinen bringen wenn wir täglich sehen wie sie getötet und unterdrückt werden?
Der Prophet (a.s.s) sagte: "Der Muslim ist der Bruder des anderen: Weder behandelt er ihn schlecht, noch lässt er ihn im Stich ( in seiner eigenen Not) noch demütigt er ihn."
Denkt immer an den Tag des Jüngsten Gerichts – jeder von uns muss für sich selbst Rechenschaft ablegen. Was wollen wir ALLAH sagen, wenn er uns fragt warum wir so wenig taten???
Der Prophet (a.s.s) sagte: "Bei Dem, in Dessen Hand mein Leben liegt, ihr tretet nicht eher ins Paradies ein, bis ihr Gläubige seid, und ihr seid nicht eher Gläubige, bis ihr einander Zuneigung entgegenbringt."
Und der Gesandte sagte in einem weiteren Hadit: "Keiner von euch wird Gläubiger sein, bis ihr für euren Bruder nicht das herbeisehnt, was ihr für euch selber wünscht."
Auch wir wollen unsere Geschwister unterstützen und spenden – damit sie wenigstens in der schweren Situation einigermaßen leben können – essen haben – mit Medikamenten versorgt werden und vieles mehr.
Ein Euro kann so viel bewirken – ein Euro von jedem Bruder und jeder Schwester – subhanallah – welch große Hilfe die doch für den Einzelnen so klein und wenig erscheint.
Aus diesem Grund haben auch wir uns dazu entschieden – von jeder eingegangen und bezahlten Bestellung 15% für Syrien abzugeben.
Um noch mehr als dies zu tun, erlassen wir Euch auch ab einem Bestellwert in Höhe von 30 Euro die Versandkosten in sha ALLAH.
Gerne könnt Ihr aber auch mehr spenden als wir dann vom Verkaufspreis nehmen. Einfach den Kaufbetrag erhöhen oder eine separate Überweisung tätigen. Beides geht auf das gleiche Konto (Shop-Konto) und wird von uns ganz genau Cent für Cent sortiert und weitergeleitet.
Wichtig ist !!!:
- Dass ihr den Betreff bei einem erhöhten Betrag von einer Bestellung bei der Bestellnummer benennt und - bei einer separaten Spendenüberweisung den Verwendungszweck: "Syrien 2013 angebt. "
So kann dann nichts schief gehen und alles kann genau zugeordnet werden in sha allah.
Möge ALLAH swa Euch für jeden einzelnen Cent reichlich belohnen - amin.
Verse vom Quran über Großzügigkeit und Spenden für wohltätige Zwecke im Vertrauen auf Allah:
* Allah, der Erhabene, spricht:
"Und ihr gebt nichts als Spende hin, ohne dass Er es euch ersetzt..." (34:39)
*"Was immer ihr an Gutem spendet, das ist für euch selbst, und ihr spendet nicht, es sei denn aus Verlangen nach dem Angesicht Allahs. Und was immer ihr an Gutem spendet, das soll euch voll zurückerstattet werden, und es soll euch kein Unrecht zugefügt werden." (2:272)
*"Und was immer ihr an Gutem spendet, wahrlich Allah weiß es wohl." (2:273)
*"Und spendet auf dem Wege Allahs und stürzt Euch nicht mit eignen Händen ins Verderben und tut Gutes!
Wahrlich, Allah liebt diejenigen, die Gutes tun." (Quran 2:195)
*((Gottes Gunst werdet ihr erst erlangen, wenn ihr von den Gaben spendet, die ihr liebt. Was ihr auch spendet, Gott weiß genau darüber Bescheid.)) (Koran 2:92)
*((Diejenigen, die ihr Hab und Gut für Gottes Zwecke spenden, sind wie ein Saatkorn, dem sieben Ähren entsprießen, deren jede hundert Körner trägt. Gott vervielfältigt Seine Belohnung für wen Er will. Gott ist allumfassend und allwissend.)) (Koran 2:261).
