    IS SMOKING HARAM?

Praise be to Allah and peace and blessings be on His Prophet SAWS.

Smoking is one of the things which has caused a lot of problems and harm these days and it has spread like wild fire. Before we discuss this topic in detail, we should know that Allaah the Almighty has divided things in the world into two types, good or permissible (al-tayyibaat, al-halaal) and evil or prohibited (al-khabaa'ith, al-haraam), and there is no third type. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning) in surat al-A'raaf (7:157):

"And He makes good things halaal for them and bad things haraam."

Considering this fact, smoking can either be permissible and good or prohibited and evil.

Thus, we present some of its characteristics and let the person asking the question see himself in which type lies smoking.

There is no disagreement among the physicians and sane people that smoking is harmful for health. It is one of the major causes of lung cancer and other diseases. It is also one of the major causes of death. Since, it is known that the Islamic law prohibits everything that is harmful for a human being. Allah said (interpretation of meaning):
"Do not kill yourself. Allah is Merciful unto you." (Surat al-Nisaa' 4:29)

In addition, His Prophet SAWS (peace be upon him) said:

"There is no harm or causing of harm (in Islaam)." (Arabic "laa darar wa laa diraar")

He SAWS (peace be upon him) also said:

"A person will not be able to move on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about his body as to what he engaged it in."

Smoking also goes against the saying of the Prophet SAWS:

"Your body has a right on you."

There is no disagreement among the physicians and sane people that smoking is harmful for the health of others who inhale the polluted breath of the smoker. Medical research has proven the harmful effects of smoking mothers on their children. The offensive smell caused by smoking is a source of pain to the worshippers of Allah among humans and angels. The angels are offended and suffer from the same things that the human beings suffer from. Allah said (interpretation of the meaning):
"Those who cause harm to believing men and women without any reason do a great sin." (Surat al-Ahzaab, 33:58)

The money that is spent on cigarettes is used on buying a harmful thing and is therefore an extravagance. Allah said (interpretation of the meaning):
"… and do not be extravagant wasters. Those who are extravagant are kinsmen of Satan." (Surat al-Israa' 17:26-27)

Extravagance (in Islam) means spending on something haraam.

Spending money on cigarettes is a waste of resources as well. The Prophet SAWS (peace be upon him) said:

"A person will not be able to move on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about ..... what he owned as to how he spent it."

Considering all that has been presented, it can be clearly seen that smoking is an evil among many others. It is not permissible to indulge in it, or buy and sell it, or even to offer it to others. It is incumbent on a person who is addicted to it that he must make all efforts and get whatever necessary treatment to stop it. If the unbelievers have understood the harm caused by smoking and made laws regarding it, the Muslims should be even more eager to stop it and treat those who are addicted to it.

We ask Allah the Almighty to cure everyone indulging in this evil and help him in giving it up. Allah is the Best Guide to the Right Path.

    Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid

HOW IMAM ABU HANIFA GOT HIS NAME

    (Rahimuhumullah)

The real name of Imam Abu hanifa (rahimhumullah) was Numan bin Thabit,
Abu Hanifa is an unusual name because it means 'the father of Hanifah', and Hanifah was his daughter. It was not the custom in those days to do this.
Normally, the name would be 'the father of the name of a son.'
How this came about is quite edifying.

One day the great Imam Abu Hanifa (rahimuhumullah) was asked a question that, for the first time in his illustrious career, he was unable to answer.

The question was, "Why were women forbidden to marry more than one husband at a time?"
To make a long story short, Abu Hanifa's (rahimuhumullah) daughter said that she knew the answer and would solve this question if her father would make a promise to her that if she succeeded in solving this problem, he would then assure her a place in history.

    Abu Hanifa (rahimuhumallah) agreed.

So she gathered a group of women together and gave each of them a cup. Then she brought in a large bowl of milk and asked each of them to dip their cups in the milk and to fill their cups. They did so. She then asked them to pour back the milk into the bowl. They did this too.

She then asked them to re-fill their cups taking back only their own milk that they had poured into the bowl. This, obviously, was impossible to do. Hanifah had clearly demonstrated the kind of predicament that would be created if a woman had several husbands.

With more than one husband, if she were to become pregnant, she would have exceptional difficulties determining who the actual father was. Identifying parentage and lineage would then be insurmountable for the offspring.

Imam Abu Hanifa was so pleased with her answer that he took the name 'Abu Hanifa', 'the father of Hanifah', so his daughter did indeed earn a place in history.

Note: This is not to say that because today technological advancement allows us to know the father of a child, it is permissible for a woman to have multiple husbands. Remember, "sam'ina wa ata'na."

The wisdom of Allah surpasses our limited knowledge and understanding.

WHEN YOU DECIDE TO CHANGE ...

    Brother Ammar writes:

In important news, today is the 10th anniversary of my beard. Ok, maybe give or take a little but today is as good a day as any to bring it up.

10 years ago, my beard was the joke of my living room and every party I attended. It was the thing that all the uncles and aunties could gather around for their exercises in wit (or lack of). They would jokingly laugh at its sparseness, or compare the beard to a farm animal (I got mountain goat a lot), or make nonsensical arguments such as beards are ok for Arabs and South Asians because they got that 'soft hair', as for you...well, you've got that nappiness in you boy.

Criticisms ranged from threats to shave it while I slept to being called every name that can be associated with a beard....just use your imagination.

10 years later how many of those jokes do I get from the same people? Alhamdullilah, zero..zilch. I think everyone pretty much gave up around year 5 and now why, you might actually find that your dream has come true where you are not being judged by whats on your face, but the content of your character!

So for those who are in their first few weeks, or months or years of beard or hijab...there is light at the end of the tunnel, you just have to out wait, and persevere

    And Allah says,

"O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful." (Aal-Imran v. 200)

Imagine u steal $10 from ur best friends bag & she catches u red handed but instead of getting mad she gives u $1000 & takes u out to lunch!

Is there any friend who would do that?

And if u do have a friend who KEEPS on FORGIVING u & SHOWERING U with gifts wouldnt u be thankful to her?

This is what Allah SWT does to us everyday. Everyday we sin, we miss our prayers, we backbite etc but instead of punishing us, He FORBEARS us

He KEEPS BLESSING US because He is Al Haleem. HE overlooks our FAULTS even though HE HAS THE RIGHT TO PUNISH us. So be grateful to Him & call upon Him by His name Al Haleem.

    THREE QUESTIONS

There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time.
When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar
or any expert who could answer his 3 Questions. Finally, his parents
were able to find a Muslim scholar.

Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?

Scholar: I am one of Allah (Subhan Wa Ta`ala )'s slaves and In sha Allah
(God willing), I will be able to answer your questions.

Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able
    to answer my questions.

Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allah(Subhan Wa Ta`ala).

Young Man: I have 3 questions:
    1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
    2. What is qadr (fate)?
    3. If shaitan (Devil) was created from the fire, why at the end he will be thrown to hell that is also created from fire. It certainly will not hurt him at all, since Shaitan (Devil) and the hell were created from fire. Did God not think of it this far?

Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard.

Young Man (feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?

Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.

Young Man: I really don't understand.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.

Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?

    Young Man: Yes.

Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!

    Young Man: I cannot.

Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence
without being able to see His shape. Last night, did you dream that
you will be slapped by me?

    Young Man: No.

Scholar: Did you ever think that you will get a slap from me, today?

    Young Man: No.

Scholar: That is Qadr (fate) my second answer. My hand that I
used to slap you, what is it created from?

Young Man: It is created from flesh.

Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?

    Young Man: Flesh.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?

    Young Man: In pain.

Scholar: That's it. This is my third answer, Even though Shaitan Devil) and also the hell were created from the fire, if Allah wants,
in sha Allah (God willing), the hell will become a very painful place for Shaitan.

Wisdom comes from Allah alone and He grants it to the one(s) He wills.

    THE STORY OF THE IMAM

Several years ago an Imam moved to London, United Kingdom. He often took the bus from his home to the downtown area. Some weeks after he arrived, he had occasion to ride the same bus. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a twenty pence (a.k.a 'tuppence') too much change.

As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, you better give the twenty pence back. It would be wrong to keep it. Then he thought, "Oh, forget it, it's only tuppence. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway the bus company already gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a gift from Allah (swt) and keep quiet."

When his stop came, the Imam paused momentarily at the door, then he handed the twenty pence back to the driver and said, "Here, you gave me too much change". The driver with a smile, replied,"Aren't you the new Imam in this area? I have been thinking lately about going to worship at your Mosque.I just wanted to see what you would do, if I gave you too much change."

When the Imam, stepped off the bus, his knees became weak and soft, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, and held on for support, and looked up to the heavens and cried: "Oh Allah, I almost sold You and Islam for twenty pence!"

WHERE IS OUR GHEERAH AND MODESTY?

Gheerah (Protective jealousy) is a noble asset. If any one possesses it, then Allah has gifted him a noble trait.

Look how our Prophet, peace be upon him, responded to Umar bin Khattab's gheerah.

In his dream he was taken to a tour of Jannah. It was a huge white Palace. So beautiful that he thought it must be for him. But he was told that it was to be awarded to Umar Bin Al Khattab. The Prophet(salallahu 'alayhis salam) decided to enter and have a look into it. But the moment he saw Umar's hoor was performing ablution he stepped out. He recalled the gheerah of Umar.

Look at our gheerah. Our women, our girls jump on any wall of non- mahram and click 'like' and interact with them and search from them a spouse on their own, fall in and out of love, share personal information and chat at midnight hours, and yet we don't feel bad. Rather, millions of fathers don't even come to know that their daughters who prays five times have multiple affairs on the internet. She chases good looking young men who sprout beards and update their status with a Qur'anic ayah or a borrowed quotation after every hour. For her, talking about deen to Namahram is not a fitnah.

A sahih hadith says that a dayooth will not even smell the fragrance of paradise.

    Who is a dayooth?

The higher category includes people who earn money by allowing their women to do prostitution. The lower category includes people who dont mind their women, daughters, sisters talking, chatting, dreaming, befriending Non mahrams.

Asma bint abu Bakr's (RadiAllahu anha) husband was Zubair bin Awwam (RadiAllahu anhu). He was also a man of gheerah. A man who was counted among those ten Ashhar al mubashhara. The ten who got glad tidings of Jannah. His wife respected his gheerah and honoured it. Once she was walking on a hot sunny day, carrying a load of wood. The beloved Prophet, peace be upon him, was passing by on his camel and saw the lady labouring in hot sun. He offered his camel to carry her to her house. The noble lady who honoured her husband's gheerah refused. She recalled her husband's gheerah and preferred to walk in the hot sun carrying the load.

Many of our girls are harbouring sweet desires of being proposed by a young man and keep on visiting the profiles of young men. Do they not realise the gheerah of their future husband who would marry them thinking that they are noble girls? Isn't it a deception? That too in the name of deen, girls and boys interact with.

One cannot drag a Muslimah out of her hijab. So the approach is new.

    FACE BOOK.

Be friends with the opposite gender and "learn the deen" from them. Get impressed by his picture in beard. Follow his notes and shares. Be happy if he tags you. Ask him a question on deen. Get replies and then find out if he is married or not and what type of girl is he looking for. This is how fitnah initiates.

Nothing offers you seclusion like the silent lanes of cyber world.

THE STORY OF THALABA IBN ABDUL RAHMAN- AM I A HYPOCRITE?

Thalaba Ibn AbdulRahman (RadiAllahu anhu) was a young man at the age of 16. He always ran errands for the prophet (pbuh).

One day while walking though the city of Medina, he passed by a house with an open door. Out of curiosity he took a glance inside. In this glance, he saw a light curtain being blown away from a bathroom entrance were a woman was bathing. He immediately lowered his gaze. With an extreme feeling of guilt and hypocrisy his mind ran. Thinking to himself, how could I be of the companions, one that is close to the prophet (pbuh), one who runs his errands and be so horrible as to disrespect peoples privacy??

He feared that Allah would reveal to the prophet pbuh evidence of his hypocrisy. His guilt denied him to ever show his face to the prophet (pbuh).

    So he ran away.

Days went by and the prophet kept asking the other companions if they had seen Thalaba. No one had seen him. With the prophet's (pbuh) worry about Thalaba he sent a few of the companions to look for him everywhere, among them were Omar Ibn Al Khattab and Salman Al Farisiy.

They looked everywhere in Medina, and on the out skirts of Madina, until they came about a set of mountains between Mecca and Medina where some nomads where herding sheep. The companions asked the nomads if they had seen a young man with Thalaba's characteristics.

They told the companions about a weeping boy. He had been here for 40 days. He came down from the mountains once a day weeping and drank the milk they would offer him. Then he went back up the mountains weeping, crying, always asking for Allah for forgiveness, and saying words of repentance.

So the companions waited until he came down and watched him. He had lost weight. His countenance reflected sorrow as he drank the milk that was mixed with his tears.

The companions insisted that they take him back to the prophet (pbuh), but he refused and asked them if Allah had revealed verses saying he was a hypocrite.

They told him that they had no knowledge of any such verses.

He was taken back to Medina where the prophet pbuh went to see him. He asked again if Allah had put him among the hypocrites or revealed that he was.

The prophet (pbuh) assured him that there were no such verses. He laid out Thalaba's tired, weak body and placed Thalaba's head on his lap.

He said, "Oh prophet of Allah remove the head of a sinner away from you.?"
The prophet (pbuh) comforted him until he told the prophet (pbuh), "I feel as though ants are walking between my flesh and bones."

The prophet told him it was death and his time had come.

He witnessed while Thalaba's head was on his lap, Thalaba proclaim that "There is no god worthy of worship other than Allah, and that Mohamed (pbuh) is the Messenger of Allah."

The prophet pbuh washed Thalaba and carried him to the grave.

It is narrated that on their way to bury Thalaba, the prophet (pbuh) walked on his tip-toes as though he were in a crowd. When Omar (radiAllahu anhu) asked about this, the Prophet (pbuh) explained that he was being crowded with the angels.

    THE SECRET BEHIND YAWNING

Have you ever noticed that as soon we stand up for prayer, want to read the Quraan, or some other act of worship, we suddenly get this irrepressible urge to start yawning? And it's not like it is our bedtime either! It's the middle of the day, we were fine a few minutes ago and now, all of a sudden, we get this irresistible desire to yawn. Why is that?

That is because yawning comes from the Shaytaan.

    The Prophet (pbuh) said:
"Yawning is from Shaytaan, so if any of you feels the urge to yawn, let him resist it as much as he can." (Muslim)

In another hadeeth he (pbuh) said:
"Yawning comes from the Shaytaan, so if one of you feels the urge to yawn, let him suppress it as much as he can, for if one of you says 'haa' (the sound made when yawning), the Shaytaan laughs." (Bukhaari, Muslim).

The Ulama said, explaining the concept of yawning: "Yawning is attributed to the Shaytaan in the sense that he approves of it and wants it to happen, i.e., the Shaytaan likes to see a man yawning. Also, every makrooh action is attributed to the Shaytaan in Islam because he is the means behind it. Yawning is caused by a full stomach and leads to laziness, and that is by the means of the Shaytaan."

In other words, the Shaytaan wants to make us lazy, especially when it comes to worshipping Allaah, and so he distracts us from prayer, worship, etc. by making us yawn. And, of course, that pleases him.

    The Prophet (pbuh) also said:
"Allah likes sneezing and dislikes yawning….." (Bukhaari)

"If any of you yawns, let him cover his mouth lest the Shaytaan enter." (Abu Dawud)

"When one of you yawns, he should keep his mouth shut with the help of his hand, for it is the devil that enters therein." (Muslim)

Now, I know some of us 'educated' ones out there will argue…. "But, yawning is due to lack of oxygen in the brain" or something like that.
To them I say…."It doesn't matter whether there is lack of oxygen or surplus of oxygen or whatever. There is one thing that has to be CRYSTAL CLEAR in the mind of the Muslim and that is…. If the Prophet (pbuh) said that yawning is from the Shaytaan, then yawning is from the Shaytaan and that is the end of the matter, no matter what science or anyone else says!

To minimize yawning during prayer or other worship

    1. Start your prayer when you are energetic and active

    2. Don't delay Isha prayer too late when you know you will tend to be lazy and sleepy

    3. Remember that the Shaytaan is your enemy so regard him as such, and try to resist him as much as you can

    4. Ask Allaah to protect you against yawning and distraction in your prayer or worship

    5. Focus on the meanings of what you are reciting or saying

    6. Renew your wudu to help you 'wake up' before every Salaah or act of worship

    7. Also, stop reciting until the yawning has ended, or else you may distort the recitation with the yawning. (Fath al-Baari)

    8. And, don't eat too much, since overfilling the stomach leads to heaviness and lethargy

Al-Nawawi said: "Yawning is attributed to the Shaytaan because it calls to desires, as it is caused by heaviness of the body and lassitude and fullness. What it means is: beware of the causes that lead to that, which is…eating too much."

    9. If you DO end up yawning, make sure to cover your mouth and, DON'T make the 'haa' sound associated with yawning. Surely, you don't want the Shaytaan laughing at you!

Remember, don't disregard yawning as a trivial matter as there are no trivial matters when it comes to our deen and following the instructions of the Prophet"

"What is destined will reach you, even if it be underneath two mountains. What is not destined, will not reach you, even if it be between your two lips!"

What ever is meant for you will be coming your way, while you are led and directed toward it.

As for that which is not meant for you, you will be deflected from it as it is turned aside from you.

Go easy on yourself, for the outcome of all affairs is determined by Allah's decree. If something is meant to go elsewhere, it will never come your way, but if it is yours by destiny, from you it cannot flee

Some Practical Steps to Waking Up For Fajr

There are many different techniques to try to wake up for Fajr. They vary from person to person, depending on what prevents a person from waking up.

    Physical Preparations

    There are various physical preparations:

    1) winding down before bed and sleeping early,
    2) setting multiple alarms out of one's immediate reach,
    3) simplifying one's bedding,
    4) drinking ample water so one is forced to the washroom, or
5)having a family member or friend wake you up when they rise.

These are some of the main suggestions, of which sleeping early is perhaps the most common remedy.

    Mental Preparations

    Then, there are mental preparations:

    1) before bed, visualizing oneself rising, washing and praying,
    2) telling the mind with firm resolve before bed that there is an important appointment at Fajr that one must attend [with Allah], or
    3) warning the mind beforehand that the body will indeed be tempted to close its eyes "for just a few more minutes" when the alarm rings- and not to give in to it.

    Spiritual Preparations

Finally, there are the spiritual preparations:

    1) filling the heart with the importance and love for praying Fajr and the fear of missing it,
    2) begging Allah Most High before bed for the ability to wake up the following morning,
    3) a feeling deep-seated regret and sadness if one misses it and immediately making it up, and
    4) trying to avoid other major sins in one's life and repenting from them to try to gain divine assistance [tawfiq].
If one accidentally misses Fajr however, while they should feel regretful, they should never feel despair and hopelessness such that they feel dissuaded from trying to wake up the next morning, since it is a sign that they were relying on themselves, and not on Allah Most High as they should be.

    The Reality of Fajr

Few people find it hard to wake up if there is a plane to catch the next morning, or a lucrative job interview. This is because we are so desirous to take that trip or get that job, so our eyes open with vigor when the alarm rings. Some people might awaken even before the alarm, due to their anticipation.

The only reason this does not happen as often for Fajr is because we haven't attached the same importance to the Hereafter as we have attached to our worldly lives. Our awe and sense of duty to Allah Most High might be weaker than our desire for the ephemeral things around us.

Those who are attached to Allah, however, see Fajr as more important than the rest of the day's affairs put together, and so they find it easy to rise to worship their Lord, in submission and gratitude. They then find peace from this, which spurs them to rise again, in a positive cycle. Thus, its about breaking bad cycles and establishing good ones.

May Allah Most High make us all among those who rise and pray Fajr easily and consistently, out of submission and gratitude.

The youth nowadays are so obsessed with romance/marriage that they spend countless hours just daydreaming about it and not realizing that all the time that they have wasted could've been utilized to actually become someone WORTHY of marriage. One of the greatest scholars of Islam, imam An-Nawawi rahimullah never married and when he was asked why, he replied that he forgot. Subhan Allah a scholar so inclined towards seeking knowledge and teaching it that he said he forgot to get married. What about us? When was the last time we forgot about marriage and remembered pleasing Allah SWT? May Allah SWT help us prioritize our life. Ameen.

Following up my post from yesterday, the idea was not to completely dismiss marriage but the idea was to point out that the youth today have been encoded to strongly believe that marriage is an absolute right away obligation upon them now due to the hyper sexual society they live in and also because of how everyone seems to have outdone in preaching to them to get married as soon as possible. With this mindset, they fail to give rights to much more important obligations currently at hand. These people develop this mindset at such a young age and it would be very rare that a sane family would think of getting their son or daughter married to this person. When you speak to such people wanting to get married, they have no sense of long term planning, their focus on what they want in a spouse is completely unrealistic and immature, they don't have a degree or a job, Subhan Allah they cannot even take care of themselves, how are they going to take care of another individual who grew up in a totally different household? If you're primary concerns are whether your spouse will watch Dragon Ball Z or Twilight or any show with you or if she will support the same sports team as you, then know for a fact you're probably taking marriage too lightly. These similar hobbies help but they aren't the foundation of marriage. Your primary concerns should include things like how will this person raise my children or how will this person treat my children once I leave them with him or her, how will they help me be financially stable, how will they treat my family, will this person give Allah SWT His right, will this person help me obtain Jannah, etc. Really re-evaluate yourself and think deep down inside - are you really ready to take on this challenge? If your goal is only to get married and you haven't thought about life years into your marriage, you're going to be really disappointed once reality hits you. This reality is proven by just the divorce rates amongst young people today. Yes, get married because it's an important step in a person's life but Allah SWT blessed you with a brain so please use it wisely.

People nowadays are so lazy and impatient. Whenever we are required to do a chore or even some work at our offices , we want to get it done as fast as possible just so we can go back to doing something more entertaining or in most cases absolutely nothing, just chill out. Our efforts have become so lagging and inefficient, have we forgetten that the Prophet SAW was around 40 years old when he SAW got revelation and everything that he SAW was required to do afterwards, he SAW did it proactively. He was the most energetic person, he was the best to his family, a hard working preacher, heavily involved in battles, etc. Someone who was in their 40s was considered very young then but people nowadays in their 20s are starting to feel old. May Allah SWT protect us from laziness. Ameen.

    I AM ON DUTY

When an European Airline was initially launched, an educated Muslim gentleman was travelling in the first class section.

An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink so that man politely refused.

The air hostess returned but this time bought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress however Muslim man again politely refused, explaining he doesn't drink alcohol. The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached man with another platter, now designed with flowers, he questioned, "is there something wrong with our service? please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer." The man replied, "I am a Muslim and I do not drink alcohol." The manager still insisted that the man take the drink.

Then, the Muslim proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first.

The manager stated, "how can the pilot drink alcohol, he's on duty!? And if he drinks there are all chances for the plane to crash".

The passenger with tears in his eye, replied, "I am a Muslim and I am always on duty in order to protect my Imaan and if I drink I will crash my whole life here and hereafter."

"Right at this moment, while you allow music to blast into your ears, there's someone out there uttering the same on their death bed

I am not here to give a word that Music is permissible or not, The point that I am trying to make is, that during the last moments of our life, our tongue will only speak that which we made it accustomed to.

How confident are you that you'll be able to pour out Shahada while experiencing death pangs?
What efforts have you made to train your soul for that moment?

Dear readers, it isn't a piece of cake There are real life incidences where people ended up their lives reiterating a swear word or a song.
    Look at the Plight.
We will die they way we lived.
Ask ! Ask yourself these two basic questions.
The answer to it will speak for your position.
"When was the last time, I subconsciously recited a verse from the Qur'an? and …
"When was the last time, I subconsciously hummed the lyrics "

Death is the only experience which cannot be shared. And so, for our better understanding and preparedness, there are various hadiths which give us a glimpse about what a person goes through when he meets the Angel of death; and the soul is extracted from the body.

No living person can ever…can ever come close to comprehend the intensity of that moment, unless he faces the same. Believe it or not! He Sees, Hears and Feels that which everyone around him is unaware of.

"Indeed, the death from which you flee - indeed, it will meet you. Then you will be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do." (62:8)"
