Because quran is the miracles of miracles It contains many scientific facts even its 1400 years old Islam Means Peace For example it describe the embryology how the baby forms in the womb And Evelin Am here lol Ibwas getting my son frm my aunt Islam Means Peace Ok lol Evelin Yes I understand Islam Means Peace Sorry Islam Means Peace I thought you gone Evelin No don't worry Islam Means Peace Islam is not the name of some unique religion presented for the first time by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who should, on that account be called the founder of Islam Islam Means Peace The Qur'an states that Islam - the complete submission of man before his one and only Unique Creator - is the one and only faith and way of life consistently revealed by God to humankind from the very beginning. Noah, Solomon, David, Abraham, Moses, Isaac and Jesus - prophets who appeared at different times and places - all propagated the same faith and conveyed the same message of Tawheed (Oneness of God), Risaalat (Prophethood) and Aakhirah (the Hereafter). These prophets of God were not founders of different religions to be named after them. They were each reiterating the message and faith of their predecessors. Islam Means Peace However, Muhammad (pbuh) was the last Prophet of God. God revived through him the same genuine faith which had been conveyed by all His Prophets. This original message was earlier corrupted and split into various religions by people of different ages, who indulged in interpolations and admixture. These alien elements were eliminated by God, and Islam - in its pure and original form - was transmitted to humankind through Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Islam Means Peace Since there was to be no messenger after Muhammad (pbuh), the Book revealed to him (i.e. the Qur'an) was preserved word for word so that it should be a source of guidance for all times. Islam Means Peace The miracle of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), i.e. the Qur'an, is for all times Islam Means Peace All the previous Prophets of God were sent only to their people and their nation and their complete message was meant for a particular time period. Therefore the miracles they performed such as parting of sea by Prophet Moses (pbuh), giving life to the dead by Prophet Jesus (pbuh), etc. convinced the people of that time but these miracles cannot be analyzed and verified by us today. Evelin If I don't answer is cuz reading Islam Means Peace It's ok pls read Islam Means Peace Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last and final Messenger of God, sent for the whole of humankind and the message he delivered is for eternity. The Qur'an says: "We sent you (Prophet Muhammad) not but as a mercy for all creatures." (Al- Qur'an 21:107) Islam Means Peace Therefore the miracle of the last and final Messenger should also be everlasting, examinable and verifiable by people of all ages, after its revelation. Though Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) performed several miracles as are mentioned in the Hadith (recorded traditions, sayings and actions of the Prophet), he never emphasized them. Though we Muslims believe in these miracles we only boast of the ultimate miracle given to him by Almighty God, which is the Qur'an. Islam Means Peace Al-Qur'an is the miracle of all times which proved itself to be a miracle 1400 years ago and which can be reconfirmed today and forever. In short, it is the Miracle of Miracles. However, Islam is in existence since the first man (Prophet Adam) first set foot on earth. Since then, Almighty God sent several prophets and revelations, the last in this chain being Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Qur'an. Islam Means Peace Ok I will explain about them as well Islam Means Peace Three options regarding authorship of the Qur'an Probably, the only point of agreement amongst those who have the slightest knowledge of the Qur'an irrespective of whether they are Muslims or not, is that the Qur'an was recited for the first time by a man who was born in Makkah in Arabia in the 6th century (C.E.) by the name of Muhammad (pbuh). Islam Means Peace Regarding the sources of the Qur'an there can be three basic assumptions for a non-Muslim: Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) himself was the author of the Qur'an; consciously, sub-consciously or unconsciously. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) learnt it from other human sources or copied or adopted from previous scriptures or revelations. Qur'an has no human author but it is a word for word revelation from God. Muhammad (pbuh) was not the author of the Qur'an Islam Means Peace Muhammad (pbuh) never claimed the authorship of the Qur'an It is highly abnormal to challenge the testimony of someone who disclaims responsibility for producing a great work, whether literary, scientific or other. Yet this is precisely what orientalists and others, who are suspicious about the origins of the Qur'an, do when they claim that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the author of the Glorious Qur'an. 8 hours ago Islam Means Peace Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) never ever claimed responsibility for originating it. He honestly said that it was Allah who revealed this Scripture to him. To think otherwise is illogical because it would mean that he was telling a lie. Islam Means Peace From history we learn that between his youth and the prophetic mission that commenced at the age of 40, he had never been known to lie. He was so well known for his truthfulness, honesty and chastity that he was given the title "Al-Ameen" i.e. "The trust worthy" by friends and foes alike. Then why should he lie at the age of 40 while claiming to be a messenger of God? Islam Means Peace It is interesting to note however, that although many of the Meccan Pagans rejected Islam and regarded the Prophet as a liar, they nevertheless trusted him and deposited their valuables with him for safe-keeping. This is apparent from the fact that when the Prophet decided to leave Makkah to foil an assassination attempt on him, he left the valuables with Hazrat Ali (R.A.) to distribute it to the rightful owners. Once when Abu Sufiyan, one of the pagan chiefs of Makkah, went to Emperor Heraclius to ask for his support against the Prophet, on being questioned whether the Prophet had been accused of lying, prior his to claim to be a Prophet or whether he had betrayed his trust, Abu Sufiyan the arch enemy of the Prophet had to answer "No". Thus even his opponents acknowledged his sincerity, truthfulness and honesty. Islam Means Peace What logical reason can a person think of, for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to lie while stating that he was a Prophet and not the author of the Qur'an? Islam Means Peace The concept of God in islam The Most Concise Definition of God " Say: He is Allah,God The One and Only. "Allah, the Eternal, Absolute. "He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like unto Him." Islam Means Peace Definition of Islam.Islam is an Arabic word, which comes from the word 'Salm' which means peace and from 'Silm', which means submitting your will to Allah – the Almighty God. In short Islam means peace acquired by submitting your will to Allah (swt).The word Islam is mentioned in several places in the Qur'an and the Hadith including Surah Ali Imran, chapter 3, verse 19 and verse 85. Islam Means Peace Definition of a Muslim A Muslim is a person who submits his will to Allah – the Almighty God. The word Muslim is mentioned several times in the Qur'an and Hadith including Surah Ali Imran Chapter 3 Verse 64 and Surah Fussilat Chapter 41 Verse 33. Islam Means Peace IMAGINE YOU WAKE UP IN A HUGE FACTORY THAT YOU'VE NEVER BEEN IN BEFORE. YOU SEE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WORKING AWAY, AND ALL THE DOORS AND WINDOWS ARE SHUT AND SEALED OFF. Islam Means Peace People work, sleep, and spend all their time inside this factory. In this situation, what would you think to yourself? "Now I'm here I might as well join in with everyone else and play the game of life," or would you think, "How did I get here? What lies outside the factory? Why have I been put here?" Islam Means Peace This example is like our existence here on earth. We human beings have been thrown into existence without any choice, so questions such as Where did I come from? What am I doing here? and Where am I going after I die? keep popping up in our minds. We forget these basic questions in our daily routines, but ignoring them will not make them go away. Islam Means Peace As the Qur'an eloquently explains,"There truly are signs in the creation of the heavens and earth, and in the alternation of night and day, for those with understanding, who remember God standing, sitting, and lying down, who reflect on the creation of the heavens and earth: "Our Lord! You have not created all this without purpose …". Chapter 3 Verses 190 – 191. So we may now ask, what is our purpose? The average person, immersed as they are is in the self, ever seeking after the pleasurable, ever pursuing that which excites and gratifies the senses, refuses to pause and ponder seriously that these very objects of pleasure and gratification will someday reach their end. Islam Means Peace If wise counsel does not prevail and urge us to consider seriously that death can knock at our door also, it is only the shock of a bereavement under our own roof, the sudden and untimely death of a parent, wife or child that will rouse us up from our delirious round of sense-gratifica tion and rudely awaken us to the hard facts of life. Then only will our eyes open, then only will we begin to ask ourselves why there is such a phenomenon as death. Why is it inevitable? Why are there these painful partings which rob life of its joys? Islam Means Peace To most of us, at some moment or another, the spectacle of death must have given rise to the deepest of thoughts and profoundest of questions. What is life worth, if able bodies that once performed great deeds now lie flat and cold, senseless and lifeless? What is life worth, if eyes that once sparkled with joy, eyes that once beamed with love are now closed forever, bereft of movement, bereft of life? Thoughts such as these are not to be repressed. It is just these inquiring thoughts, if wisely pursued, that will ultimately unfold the potentialities inherent in the human mind to receive the highest truths. Islam Means Peace According to the Islamic way of thinking, death, far from being a subject to be shunned and avoided, should be reflected upon and should bring about a positive change in us. The Quran which is the book of the Muslims says on the topic: "Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and good, and to Us you will be returned." [Quran 21:35] Islam Means Peace Reflecting upon death makes one think of their purpose in life. Islam Means Peace Can we ever feel peace? Does real peace exist? To feel true peace of mind, we have to search for it. Islam Means Peace In some situations, isn't it difficult to feel at peace? After all, there are certain things that upset the peace for almost all of us. For example, isn't it irritating when we are relaxing at home, and suddenly a car alarm starts going off? Or when we can hear a tap dripping? How about when there is a fly buzzing near our ear? Or when we are on a long flight and can hear babies constantly crying? Islam Means Peace In such conditions, a lot of us would think to ourselves, "I need some peace and quiet!" In fact, the longer the noise continues, the more we start to crave peace. But what if the day before, you had been told that you have a brain tumour? Sitting on the beach, knowing that you may only have a few months left to live, would you still feel at peace? Islam Means Peace Somehow, this peaceful scene does not seem so peaceful anymore. Islam Means Peace External peace is like a mirage. From a distance, it appears to give us peace. But when we look closely, we see that it isn't the real thing. Sitting on the beach looked like an image of peace, but the knowledge of the brain tumour shattered our illusion. To explore this idea further, imagine your ideal house. Perhaps this house of luxury has ten bedrooms? Maybe there are fast cars parked in the driveway? Pertama, Surat 'Yasin' termasuk surat Al-Qur'an Makkiyah yang agung. Bilangan ayatnya ada delapan puluh tiga ayat. Ayat-ayatnya pendek dan sangat mengena di hati orang mukmin. Pembahasan utama adalah (seperti) pembahasan surat-surat Makkiyah, berbicara tentang tauhid Uluhiyah dan Rububiyah dan akibat orang-orang yang mendustakannya. Problematika yang menjadi pokok utama dalam surat ini adalah masalah kebangkitan dan dikumpulkan (di hari kiamat). Kedua, Terdapat banyak hadits terkait dengan keutamaan surat ini. Kebanyakan dusta dan palsu, sebagian lagi sedikit lemah. Kami belum mendapatkan hadits shahih khusus terkait keutamaan surat Yasin. Di antara yang ada terkait dengan keutamaan surat ini dan dilemahkan oleh pakar ilmu hadits –kami ketengahkan di sini untuk diperhatikan, yaitu; "Sesungguhnya pada setiap sesuatu itu ada jantung. Dan jantungnya Al-Qur'an adalah Yasin. Barangsiapa membacanya, maka dia seakan-akan membaca Al-Qur'an sepuluh kali." "Barangsiapa yang waktu malamnya membaca surat Yasin, maka dia akan diampuni pada pagi harinya." "Barangsiapa selalu membaca (Yasin) pada setiap malam, kemudian dia mati, maka dia mati dalam keadaan syahid." "Barangsiapa yang masuk kuburan dan membaca surat Yasin, maka pada hari itu akan diringankan (siksanya) dan dia akan mendapatkan pahala sebanyak yang ada di dalamnya." Silahkan lihat kitab Al-Maudhu'at karangan Ibnu Al-Jauzi, 2/313. Al-Fawaid Al-Majmu'ah karangan Syaukani, 942, 979. Silahkan lihat risalah 'Hadits Qalbul Qur'an Yasin Fil Mizan, wa Jumlah Mimma Ruwiya Fi Fadhoiliha, karangan Syekh Muhammad Amr Abdul Latif hafidhohullah. Ketiga, Di antara yang diriwayatkan oleh masyarakat, adalah hadits "Yasin tergantung niat orang yang membacanya" maksudnya adalah bahwa bacaan surat Yasin dapat memenuhi keperluannya dan memudahkan urusan yang diniatkan pembacanya ketika membacanya. Harus diingatkan bahwa penyandaran ungkapan ini kepada sunnah nabawi atau salah seorang ahli ilmu dari kalangan para shahabat, tabiin dan para imam, adalah tidak benar. Tidak ada seorang pun dari mereka yang menetapkan hal ini. Bahkan mereka mengingatkan akan kebatilan hal ini. Imam Sakhawi rahimahullah mengomentari hadits ini, "Tidak ada asalnya (hadits) dengan redaksi seperti ini." (Al-Maqoshidul Hasanah, 741. Al-Qadhi Zakariya dalam catatan Baidhowi mengatakan, "Palsu." Sebagaimana terdapat dalam 'Kasyful Khofa', hal. 619 dan yang lainnya. Silahkan lihat risalah Syekh Muhammad Amr yang tadi disebutkan, 'Hadits Qalbu Al-Qur'an Yasin.. hal, 80) Tidak dibolehkan seorangpun menyandarkan hadits ini kepada Nabi sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, tidak juga boleh disampaikan dalam majlis di hadapan orang. Barangsiapa yang menyangka bahwa pengalaman telah membuktikan keabsahan hadits ini, maka dikatakan kepadanya, "Pengalaman kebanyakan orang yang membaca Yasin untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya, tetapi Allah tidak memenuhinya. Kenapa kita mengambil pengalaman anda dan tidak mengambil pengalaman selain anda?!" Apa yang dinukil Imam Ibnu Katsir dalam tafsir Al-Qur'an Al-Adhim, 3/742 dari sebagian ahli ilmu, "Di antara kekhususan surat ini, bahwa ia tidak dibacakan kepada masalah yang sulit, melainkan Allah akan mudahkan baginya." Itu merupakan ijtihad dari mereka bukan sebagai dalil dari Kitab, Sunnah atau perkataan shahabat dan tabiin. Ijtihad semacam ini, tidak boleh disandarkan kepada Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Akan tetapi disandarkan kepada orang yang mengatakannya. Dimana kalau benar dan salah (dikembalikan) kepadanya. Tidak dibolehkan menyandarkan kepada Allah Ta'ala atau sunnah Rasul-Nya, jika kita yakini hal itu dari dia. Allah Ta'ala berfirman: ﻗُﻞْ ﺇِﻧَّﻤَﺎ ﺣَﺮَّﻡَ ﺭَﺑِّﻲَ ﺍﻟْﻔَﻮَﺍﺣِﺶَ ﻣَﺎ ﻇَﻬَﺮَ ﻣِﻨْﻬَﺎ ﻭَﻣَﺎ ﺑَﻄَﻦَ ﻭَﺍﻹﺛْﻢَ ﻭَﺍﻟْﺒَﻐْﻲَ ﺑِﻐَﻴْﺮِ ﺍﻟْﺤَﻖِّ ﻭَﺃَﻥْ ﺗُﺸْﺮِﻛُﻮﺍ ﺑِﺎﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﻣَﺎ ﻟَﻢْ ﻳُﻨَﺰِّﻝْ ﺑِﻪِ ﺳُﻠْﻄَﺎﻧًﺎ ﻭَﺃَﻥْ ﺗَﻘُﻮﻟُﻮﺍ ﻋَﻠَﻰ ﺍﻟﻠَّﻪِ ﻣَﺎ ﻻ ﺗَﻌْﻠَﻤُﻮﻥَ "Katakanlah: "Tuhanku hanya mengharamkan perbuatan yang keji, baik yang nampak ataupun yang tersembunyi, dan perbuatan dosa, melanggar hak manusia tanpa alasan yang benar, (mengharamkan) mempersekutukan Allah dengan sesuatu yang Allah tidak menurunkan hujjah untuk itu dan (mengharamkan) mengada-adakan terhadap Allah apa yang tidak kamu ketahui." (QS. Al-A'raf: 33) Padahal perlu kami ingatkan di sini, bahwa kebanyakan orang yang merasa terkabulkan permintaannya ketika berdoa atau membaca semacam ini sesungguhnya dikabulkan karena hatinya merasa sangat membutuhkan dan perlu sekali kepada Tuhannya. Dan jujur kembali kepada-Nya. Bukan karena apa yang dibaca dari doa atau berdoa dengannya di kuburan atau semisal itu. Ibnu Taimiyah rahimahullah mengatakan, "Kemudian sebab terkabulkannya kebutuhan sebagian di antara orang yang berdoa dengan doa yang diharamkan, adalah karena di antara mereka bisa jadi sangat membutuhkan sekali. Bahkan, jika seandainya orang musyrik berdoa di tempat penyembahannya akan dikabulkan, karena kejujuran mengharap kepada Allah. Meskipun berdoa di tempat penyembahan mereka termasuk syirik. Meskipun dia dikabulkan dengan bertawasul dengan orang yang di kuburan atau lainnya, maka dia tetap akan dihukum karena hal itu dan dilempar ke neraka, kalau Allah tidak memaafkannya." Kemudian beliau menambahkan, "Dari sini banyak orang yang keliru. Misalnya sampai kepada mereka bahwa sebagian orang saleh beribadah dengan suatu ibadah atau berdoa dengan suatu doa dan mendapatkan pengaruh dari ibadah dan doa itu. Maka mereka menjadikan sebagai dalil kebaikan dari ibadah dan doa itu dan menjadikan hal itu sebagai suatu sunnah, seakan-akan telah dilakukan oleh seorang Nabi. Hal ini suatu kekeliruan seperti yang telah kami sebutkan. Apalagi pengaruh dari amalan itu karena kejujuran hati pelakunya ketika melakukannya. Kemudian dilakukan oleh pengikutnya hanya sekedarnya bukan dengan kejujuran, sehingga justeru merusaknya. Karena amalan itu bukan amalan yang dianjurkan sehingga mereka mendapatkan pahala dari orang yang mengikutinya. Juga tidak dilakukan dengan jujur oleh pelakunya, yang apabila dilakukan dengan permintaan yang jujur dan niat yang benar pelakunya dapat menghapuskan dosa pelakunya."
