Hijab Liberated Me: Playboy Model
When Felixia Yeap received an offer to take photo shoots while donning Islamic hijab, according to her, the occasion gave her unprecedented feelings of protection, happiness and safety..
"I realized that I was looking forward to cover up (my body) more," Yeap told Malaysia Star on Thursday, December 12.
"When someone grows up they become wiser," the 26-year-old model added.
Yeap, who is not a Muslim, used to pose in Playboy Philippines after taking the modeling career two years ago.
During these two years, she lamenting feelings that she was "used" by men who were only out looking for fun instead of a wife for marriage.
"I crumbled time after time...I picked myself up just to crumble all over again," she said.
This all changed when she received an offer to parade in the hijab for a commercial casting a few months ago.
At this moment, Yeap felt "liberated".
She now feels "happy, protected and safe" every time she dons the hijab.
Though Yeap has not converted to Islam so far, she started to skip fashion shoots that makes use of her body.
"I am planning to slow down on those kind of shoots and try my best to avoid them. I only do about 30% of the requests I get," she said.
Islam sees hijab as an obligatory code of dress, not a religious symbol displaying one's affiliations.
The status of women in Islam is often the target of attacks in the secular media, with many citing the Islamic dress as an example of the "subjugation" of women under Islamic law.
Yet, the truth is that 1400 years ago, Islam recognized women's rights in a way that grants them the utmost protection and respect as well, a combination other systems fail to offer.
Islam granted them freedom of expression, political participation, business and financial rights, and asked the rest of society to hold them in high esteem and offer them due respect as mothers, sisters, wives, and daughters.

Wir zahlen monatlich fürs Handy, Internet, Fitnesscenter und andere diesseitige Dinge, aber spenden wir monatlich für die Bedürftigen? Wer kann keine 5 Euro monatlich spenden? Wenn jeder Muslim monatlich auch nur 1 Euro spendet, wäre das eine ganze Menge was zusammenkommt. -> Deswegen habe ich hier meine Herausforderung für jeden der das liest und ALLAH ist dein Zeuge:
Gehe jetzt bitte auf eine Seite einer Hilfsorganisation deiner Wahl, egal welche (Muslimehelfen, oder Helfen in Not, oder Islamic Relief ... etc.) und lege einen Dauerauftrag an, der für dich sehr leicht erträglich ist und den du nicht spürst (z.B. 5 Euro?). Jeden Monat wird dieser Betrag von deinem Konto abgebucht und du hast jeden Monat deiner Umma geholfen. Es ist egal wieviel wir spenden, es geht um die Absicht und vor allem die Regelmäßigkeit. ALLAH liebt die guten Taten, die regelmäßig begangen werden, auch wenn sie gering sind.
Dass du gerade auf Facebook bist beweist, dass du gerade Zeit hast. Nutze diese Zeit gut, in dem du jetzt was für dein Jenseits vorausschickst.
Möge es ALLAH dir annehmen.

ثلاثة أيّام فقط ..
ولم يصمد جسدها الصغير أكثر ..
الطفلة مريم , توفّيت بسبب البرد الشديد في حيّ الوعر الحمصيّ

لا شكّ أن تعاطف المسلمين مع أحوال أهل الشام عموماً و مع اللاجئين منهم خصوصاً أمر عظيم ..لكن اٍلى متى نكتفي بالتعاطف و الدعاء و العبارات الرومانسية؟؟
ما الواجب الشرعي تجاههم ؟؟ و قد لامستم أيها المسلمون عموماً-و مسلمو الدويلات المصطنعة الأخرى في بلاد الشام خصوصاً-لامستم بأنفسكم مدى المعاناة التي يمر بها اٍخوتكم أهل سوريا ؟؟
تذكّرو أيها السادة أنّ تلك المعاناة بدأت قبل 3 سنوات و ليست قبل 3 أيام!!
تذكّروا أنّ عليكم ما هو أكثر من مجرد التعاطف و الدعاء و ذرف الدموع و تغيير صور البروفايل!!
أنت يا من يتواجد اللاجئ السوري في بلدك يقطن الخيام و أنت تنظر اٍليه من نافذة شباكك البمغلقة !!
كيف يكون الشامي لاجئاً في بلاد الشام؟؟
كيف يمنعك مالنع مهما كان من اٍنقاذهم مما هم فيه؟؟
هل ما زلت تظن أنّ ما يحصل في أرض الشام (شأن داخلي )
على أيّة حال ..فاٍنّ ثورة الشام مستمرة و عين الله ترعاها و رجالها المخلصون لا يعتبرونها ثورةً خاصةً بهم و اٍن خاضوها وحدهم ..بل هو التشريف الذي يريده الله لعباده كي يستحقو أن يقتعدو مقعد قيادة العالم

تم ولله الحمد تحرير معمل الكنسروة جانب المشفى الوطني بجاسم ويخوض الأبطال الأن أعنف المعارك في هذة اللحظات لتحرير الحاجز بالكامل
