    Tierschutz im Islam. Respekt vor allen Lebewesen.

    Es gibt viele wunderschöne Hadithe, in denen der ehrwürdige Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa salam) zu Respekt gegenüber Tieren ermahnte. So finden wir darin das Verbot, Tiere zu quälen - nicht einmal eine Ameise: "Ibn Masud berichtete: 'Wir waren mit dem Gesandten Allahs (saws) auf einer Reise, und als er sich ... entfernte, sahen wir einen Vogel mit zwei Küken. Wir nahmen ihm seine Küken. Daraufhin begann das Rothuhn, über uns zu fliegen. Als der Prophet kam, sagte er: <Wer hat dieses mit seinen Kindern erschreckt? Bringt ihm seine Kücken zurück!> Er sah ebenfalls einen Ameisenhaufen, den wir verbrannt hatten. Er fragte: <Wer hat ihn verbrannt? ... Keinem ist es erlaubt, ... zu foltern...>'" (Nawawi, Riyadus Salihin Nr. 1610) Für das grundlose Töten oder Quälen der Tiere werden hohe Strafen verkündet: "Ibn Umar berichtete: 'Der Gesandte Allahs (saws) sagte: <Eine Frau wurde bestraft, die eine Katze eingesperrt hatte. Sie kam deswegen in das Feuer. Sie hatte ihr weder zu essen noch zu trinken gegeben. Laufen lassen hat sie sie auch nicht, sodass sie von den Tieren der Erde hätte fressen können.' (Nawawi, Riyadus Salihin, Nr. 1600) Andererseits gibt es auch Belohnung dafür, barmherzig zu den Tieren zu sein, denn der Allerbarmherzigste (Subhana wa Ta'ala) erbarmt sich dem, der sich erbarmt. So hat der Prophet (saws) folgendes Gleichnis erzählt: "Ein Mann verspürte, als er des Weges zog, großen Durst. Beim Erreichen eines Brunnens stieg er in diesen hinab, trank Wasser zur Genüge und stieg wieder hinauf. Da sah er einen Hund mit hängender Zunge, der vor lauter Durst Schlamm aufleckte. Der Mann sagte zu sich, dass der Hund den gleichen Durst verspüren müsse, den er selbst wenig zuvor gehabt hatte. So stieg er nochmals in den Brunnen hinab, füllte seinen Lederstrumpf mit Wasser, stieg wieder hinauf - wobei er den Strumpf mit seinen Zähnen festhielt - und gab dem Hund zu trinken. Allah schätzte die Tat dieses Mannes und vergab ihm seine Sünden. Der Prophet (saws) wurde gefragt: <Oh Gesandter Allahs, werden wir auch für Freundlichkeit gegenüber Tieren belohnt?> Er antwortete: <Es gibt Belohnung für Freundlichkeit gegenüber jedem Lebewesen.> [Al-Bukhari und Muslim] Wir können dabei auch die Größe der Barmherzigkeit und Vergebung des Allerbarmers (st) erkennen. Er kann einer Person auch wegen einer geringen guten Tat, die sie begangen hat, vergeben - Gepriesen sei Er!
