Hadhrat Abu Bakr (R.A) Gives Da'wah to lnhividuals:
Ibn Is'haaq (R.A) narrates, 'When Hadhrat Abu, Bakr (R.A) accepted Islaam and made his Islaam known, he started inviting people towards Allaah. He was well acquainted with the people, well liked by his people, soft-natured and from all of the Quraysh he possessed the most knowledge of their family trees and the
good and bad conditions that prevailed over them. He was a good-natured businessman of excellent character and because of his vast knowledge, his business expertise and his entertaining nature, his people used to come to him and confide in him in numerous matters. He therefore started calling all those people to Allah and to Islaam who confided in him when they met him and sat in his company. As far as I am told, the following persons accepted Islaam at his hands: Hadhrat Zubayr bin Awaam, Uthmaan bin Affaan, Talha bin Ubaydillaah, Sa'd bin Abi Waqqaas and Abdur Rahmaan bin Auf (R.A), They all came to Rasulullaah (S.A.W) with Hadhrat Abu Bakr (R.A) and Rasulullaah presented Islaam to them, recited the Qur'aan to them and informed them about the rights Islaam had on them. They all accepted Imaan.
These eight persons were the forerunners in Islaam who believed in Rasulullaah (s.a.w) and believed everything he brought from Allaah." (HAYATUS SAHABAH)

When u study about isalm u will find that 'dawah'is one of the most important part of a life of a muslim.'dawah' is an arabic word which means to invite people to accept islam.If u read the holy bible, u will find the roots of dawah in it.As I already told that it means to invite ,but if u read the glorious bible it says in the book of mark ch 16 verse 15 "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation " this is one of the most important commandments which jesus gave us.where in islam its a duty of every muslim but on the contrary most of the christians does not feel anything important about it.Going simply to the church and keeping the good news with inself is not what the lord taught us.some people may think that it is the work of pastor, , evangelist or a bible teacher like me, where if u read the bible closely it tells us that it should be an important part of a Christian life to tell about the good news of jesus christ to others.when the lord was going up in heaven, only eleven people took the responsibility of presenting and spreading 'The Dawah' to the world .If you read the parable of the talents , you will find that servent who only had one minas took it and does not made that count , so goes with christian life.Going to the world and preach the gospel is an symbolic phrase for every christian to present the dawah (invitation) of our lord to the people .In our churches there is a great need to tell people about the importance of dawah as a believer.yeshu masih ki jai.By Ashish pant
