    "He (a 13 yr old Syrian boy) was working on the street and someone tried to rape him when he was sleeping on a high wall, near a beach in Beirut, He fell from the wall onto his head. When he was brought here, he couldn't remember the last time he ate; he doesn't know anything."

    As we prepare our children for the new academic year, we do so in the hope that this may secure a bright and successful future. However, spare a thought for syrian children, who for the past couple of years have faced displacement, exploitation and humiliation. Forget thinking about what they'd like to be when they grow older, all they seek is the simplicity of knowing where their next meal will come from or where they will sleep tonight.

    Subhanallah, how can we be content with putting pur children to bed in safety knowing that millions of our children sleep on the streets.

    Un article de la revue Foreign policy qui revient sur l'hypocrisie américaine concernant le dossier syrien. En effet, alors que la guerre Irak-Iran faisait rage, les irakiens ont utilisé des armes chimiques contre les iraniens. Les USA le savaient très bien et ont même aidé à ce qu'elles se déroulent comme il faut. Alors que les iraniens allait remporter une bataille qui les aurait aidé à remporter la guerre, les américains n'ont pas hésité à fournir l'imagerie satellite aux irakiens afin de les en empêcher.

    Autre attaque chimique: le gazage des Kurdes par Saddam...Les américains ont tout fait pour garder secret l'usage d'armes chimiques par Saddam. Aujourd'hui, les tyrans d'Amérique font mine de s'attrister de cette horrible attaque menée par le régime syrien qui est aussi criminel que le leur. A LIRE!

    #Russia, 06-09-2013: 'Three Russian naval ships were sailing toward Syria in the eastern Mediterranean on Friday and a fourth was on its way, the Interfax news agency reported, citing a source at navy headquarters.

    Kremlin chief of staff Sergei Ivanov said Thursday that Russia was boosting its naval presence in the Mediterranean Sea, but primarily in order to organize a possible evacuation of Russians from Syria. He did not say how many vessels were being sent.

    The prospect of increased Russian naval presence near Syria has stoked fears of a larger international conflict if the United States orders airstrikes over an Aug. 21 chemical weapons attack in a suburb of Damascus, the Syrian capital. The U.S. already has numerous war ships in the Mediterranean.'

    #Lebanon, 06-09-2013: 'The U.N. refugee agency is to cut food aid to more than a quarter of Syrian refugees in Lebanon starting next month, partly as a result of a massive shortfall in funding.

    Since the beginning of the revolution, each Friday (holiday) in Syria, revolution activists voted to give each Friday a symbolic name.

    Such names included "The people want the downfall of the regime, God is on our side, The people want FSA armed, The Syrian National Council represents us, International community must interfere to help the Syrian people, Assad regime is killing us with Scud missiles and chemical weapons, ...........and so on.

    Some people never voted for any particular name (and I am one of them), till the name given to Friday 6 September 2013. It is really shocking. It translates:

    "Assad does not kill our children with chemical weapons only".

    He is killing one child every two hours, using all types of weapons.
