Bulan Muharram adalah salah satu dari pada bulan-bulan Haram. Allah berfirman, "Sesungguhnya bilangan bulan pada sisi Allah adalah dua belas bulan, dalam ketetapan Allah di waktu Dia menciptakan langit dan bumi, di antaranya empat bulan haram. Itulah agama yang lurus, maka janganlah kamu menganiaya diri kamu dalam bulan yang empat itu, dan perangilah kaum musyrikin itu semuanya sebagaimana mereka pun memerangi kamu semuanya, dan ketahuilah bahwasanya Allah beserta orang-orang yang bertakwa." (At-Taubah: 36) Nabi saw. bersabda, "Satu tahun itu ada dua belas bulan. Di antaranya ada empat bulan suci. Tiga bulan berturut-turut iaitu Zulkaedah, Zulhijjah dan Muharram. Dan satu bulan lagi adalah Rejab yang terletak antara Jamadil Akhir dan Sya'ban." (HR Muslim no. 1679) 3. Bulan Haram yang dihormati itu ialah: Zulkaedah, Zulhijjah, Muharam dan Rejab. 4. Umat Islam dilarang berperang dan berbunuhan dalam bulan-bulan ini kecuali jika mereka diugut. 5. Larangan untuk melakukan maksiat adalah lebih keras dibanding bulan-bulan lain. Abdullah Ibnu Abbas ra. mengatakan maksiat yang dilakukan di bulan haram adalah lebih besar dosanya dan amal baik yang dilakukan di bulan haram adalah lebih besar pahalanya. (Tafsir At-Thabari) Al Allamah Ibnu Hajar menulis, telah meriwayatkan oleh Abi Daud bahawa Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) memandubkan (yakni SUNAT) berpuasa di BULAN-BULAN HARAM . Ketahuilah, para pembela kebenaran sepakat bahwa Allah menciptakan untuk sang mayat suatu kehidupan yang bisa berupa kesengsaraan dan kelezatan di alam kubur.3 Dan seorang tidak tahu secara persis berapa lama ia harus tinggal di kampung hunian kuburan tersebut, kuburan adalah alam yang paling menakutkan setiap salafush shalih. Dalam hadits Barra bin Azib رضي الله عنه yang panjang, bahwa tatkala Rasulullah duduk di kuburan beliau bersabda "Berlindunglah kalian kepada Allah dari azab kubur." Ucapan itu diulang hingga dua atau tiga kali, kemudian beliau menuturkan tentang kondisi mayat mukmin dengan bersabda, "Maka ruhnya dikembalikan ke jasadnya kemudian datanglah dua malaikat dan keduanya mendudukkannya lalu keduanya bertanya, 'Siapakah Tuhanmu?' Maka ia menjawab, 'Tuhanku adalah Allah. Keduanya bertanya lagi, 'Apa agamamu?' Maka ia men jawab, 'Agamaku adalah Islam.' Keduanya bertanya lagi "Siapa orang yang diutus kepadamu?' Maka ia menjawab 'Dia adalah Muhammad sebagai utusan Allah'. Lalu keduanya bertanya kepadanya, 'Bagaimana kamu bisa tahu tentang hal itu?' Ia menjawab, 'Saya membaca Kitabullah lalu saya beriman dan membenarkannya.'" "Maka terdengarlah dari langit suara panggilan yang memanggil. 'Jawaban hamba-Ku sudah benar. Beliau melanjutkan, "Maka datanglah seorang lelaki yang berwajah tampan, berpakaian bagus dan me­namakan wewangian lalu ia berkata, 'Bergembiralah dengan sesuatu yang pernah dijanjikan kepadamu. Maka si mayat bertanya kepadanya, 'Siapa kamu? Wajahmu datang membawa kebaikan.' Maka ia menjawab, 'Maka saya adalah amal shalihmu.' Maka ia berkata, 'Ya Allah, bangkitkan segera Hari Kiamat hingga aku bisa kembali kepada keluargaku dan hartaku.' Kemudian beliau menceritakan kematian orang kafir beliau bersabda, "Maka ruhnya dikembalikan ke jasadnya lalu datanglah dua malaikat dan mendudukkan­nya lalu keduanya bertanya kepadanya, 'Siapa Tuhanmu?' la menjawab, 'Ha… ha… saya tidak tahu'. Lalu keduanya berlanya lagi, 'Apa agamamu?' Ia menjawab, 'Ha… ha… saya tidak tahu'. Keduanya bertanya lagi, "Siapa yang diutus kepadamu menjadi nabi?' Ia menjawab, 'Ha… ha saya tidak tahu'. Maka terdengarlah suara panggilan memanggil dari alas langit, "Ia berdusta. Hamparkanlah permadani dari neraka, berikanlah pakaian dari neraka dan bukakanlah pintu menuju neraka." Beliau bersabda, "Maka masuklah panasnya dan racunnya neraka, sehingga tulang rusuknya berantakan dan datanglah seorang lelaki yang berwajah buruk, berpakaian kumal dan berbau busuk. Lalu ia berkata, 'bergembiralah dengan nasib buruk ini yang telah dijanjikan kepadamu sebelumnya.' Si mayat bertanya, 'Siapakah dirimu? Datang berwajah buruk?. Ia menjawab 'Saya adalah amal burukmu'. Maka ia berkata, 'Ya Tuhan-ku, janganlah Engkau bangkitkan Hari Kiamat.'" Ada tambahan dari hadits Jarir bahwa beliau bersabda, "Kemudian dihadirkan orang buta dan bisu yang ditangannya terdapat cemeti terbuat dari besi. Andaikata digunakan untuk memukul gunung, maka gunung itu akan menjadi debu bertebaran." 4 Begitulah wahai saudaraku, kenikmatan surga bisa sampai kepada hamba pada saat masih berada di alan kubur, dan demikian pula siksaan neraka sampai kepada hamba pada saat masih berada di alam kubur, hingga malaikat Israfil meniup sangkakala sebagai pertanda Hari Kiamat tiba. Pasca kematian bukan tempat peristirahatan namun alam pertanggungjawaban dan tempat untuk menghisab seluruh amal perbuatan, maka sang penyair berkata: "Jikalau kita telah mati dibiarkan maka kematian menjadi tujuan setiap yang hidup. Tetapi tatkala kita mati pasti dibangkitkan dan ditanya tentang segala sesuatu." Wahai Dzat pengambil nyawa dari jiwa manusia pada saat kematian, wahai Dzat Pengampun dosa, jauhkanlah kami dari siksa kubur. [1 Aktualisierung]

The Qur'an and Sunnah are revealed by The Most Compassionate, Creator of All, and no other entity or text can be as unconditionally loving, forgiving, compassionate, and inclusive. We are all His afterall. Believes and practices the methodology of Ahlus Sunnah in Usul, Hadith sciences and Ihsan (/Tazkiyah/Tasawuff/heart-purification). Practices the Shafi'i Fiqh, an Athari-based approach to Maturidi/Ash'ari school in theology (such as the approach of Imam Ibn Hajar's as manifested in his Tawhid section in Fat'h-ul-Bari). But believes in absolutely NO Taqlid in issues of Tawhid whatsoever, so wherever the Athar (Textual evidence) leads, that's where the direction is. Attempts to practice a Text(Qur'an/Sunnah)- based approach to Tasawuff/Tazkiyah/Sufism (The Tasawuff of Ahlul Hadith, such as al-Hafidh As-Suyuti and the like). Believes in the great honor of all the Sahaba (Prophetic companions- may Allah Ta'ala be pleased with them all), all and any of them, for the simple fact, which is the honorable vision and companionship of the best of the creation -sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam- that Allah Ta'ala granted them. Equally so, the honorable Prophetic household (Ahlul Bayt). Attempts to speak about both (The Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt) as equally as possible to bring about a lacking balance with respect to the Seerah and figures of the Salaf of Ahlul Bayt from our authentic Ahlus Sunnah sources and point of view. The Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt (Ahlul Bayt is a term which includes our mothers; the honorable wives Ummahaatul Mu'minin, may Allah Ta'ala be pleased with them all) have carried this Deen to us, struggled, and we can benefit from knowing them, their life, principles and ways, without going extreme in either camp. i.e. not neglecting the Sahaba, and not neglecting Ahlul Bayt, nor going extreme in either group, but striking the Qur'an/Sunnah demanded balance. Both; the Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt are commanded to follow the Book and Sunnah themselves. Loving them both and learning about them both, is equally important. This is because of the clear Prophetic directive; Muslim narrated in his Sahih, where the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam, said: I am leaving you behind me two heavy weights: the Book and Ahla Bayti. One must realize that the Book mandates and institutionalizes the Sunnah, which is also Wahi. Hence, no separation in that sense whatsoever, and a disbelief in the Book is a disbelief in the Sunnah and vice versa. This authentic Hadith in effect states that the Qur'an and Sunnah are the first and heaviest weight (responsibility) left to us, and holding on to them will save us from misguidance, as Prophetically stated. Ahlul Bayt as Prophetically defined -as in the authenic Hadith of Ummu Salamah- are the five whom the Prophet-sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam- cloaked along with himself (Fatima, Ali, Hasan, and Husayn) and called them: Ahlul Bayt. The four are Sahaba as well, and when one examines their life and message, sees a striking resemblance to the Prophetic life and message, and an embodiment and prioritization of the Qur'an and Sunnah -as indicated in another authentic narration, hence they are the second or lesser weight, as per the Prophetic Hadith. No clear-cut Prophetic command for post-Prophetic succession was left. Shura and election led to the selection of the first righteous Khalifa; Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiqq over the entire Ummah, followed by Sayyidina Umar, followed by Sayyidina Uthman, followed by Sayyidina wa Mawlana Ali. This (30 year) era of Khilafa Rashida (Righteous Prophetic Succession) combined the leadership of both; the Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt, and was a great era. Yet they (the 4 righteous Khulafa) themselves had a standard which they were obligated to adhere to and follow: the Book and authentic Sunnah. They did so at the best of their knowledge and capacity, and exhausted their abilities and efforts to follow the Qur'an and Sunnah until they departed, so may Allah Ta'ala shower them with His Mercies and be pleased with them all. Believes that al-Hasan did the absolutely righteous thing (Shar'i mandate) by accepting the recusal of himself from the executive leadership of the Ummah to Muawiyah (a Sahabi), to prevent further bloodshed and Fitna. And believes that al-Husayn did the absolutely righteous thing by standing up in words, actions, and -more importantly- self, to the tyrant Yazid to prevent further bloodshed and Fitna. (yazid is NOT a Sahabi, but a Fasiq to say the least, but only Allah Ta'ala knows best). In general, follows a textual (Qur'an/Hadithi) approach and prioritization thereof in everything as much as possible. Nothing is as comforting as the Book of Allah Ta'ala and the words of His Gift of Mercy to the worlds, sallalllahu Ta'ala alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam. The objective is to prioritize the Book and authentic Sunnah, and put them on top of the list and in the hearts again. Nothing before them, and nothing should compete with them in allegiance, foundation, substantiation, or reference. The emphasis on the authentic Sunnah is extremely important, to weed out the forged and very weak Ahadith and narrations, and to filter aside the weak ones. The view here is that, in general, any prioritization of weak narrations over stronger ones (Hasan and Sahih) is a sign of Hawa (following desires and ignorance), and should be immediately abandoned. May Allah Ta'ala help and facilitate for us to do so each and every time we slip. Our faith is based on the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah only. We harp around these two, and proudly stand corrected based on them, any and every time Insha'Allah. The great work of our Imams (such as Imam Abu Abdillah As-Shafi'i, Abu Hanifah, and the like) are for Isti'naas (elucidation/expansion) not Ta'sis (foundation/substantiation). The Ta'sis (foundation/substantiation) is only for the Book and authentic Sunnah. Tasawuff (Sufism) is good if and when it prioritizes the Qur'an and Authentic Sunnah, bound by them, trains people more aware of their Creator, loving Him, and propels them to maximize one's potential in being Rabbani. Rabbani externally in behavior, Rabbani in essence, Rabbani in positive contribution and unconditional compassion to all humanity, and Rabbani in connection to ar-Rabb Ta'ala, The Creator of All. In another words, Tasawuff is good, if and only, it means and reflects the Prophetic definition of Ihsan, and is bound by it. For Ihsan is part of the Deen, as Prophetically indicated, and thus the Deen is incomplete without Ihsan. Believes in "Back to Basics" as far as Dawah for self and others. Few things I have always said: Tradition must be distinguished from religion. Thinking, not just blind following, is key. Unconditional compassion is the foundational cornerstone of our Deen. Violence, whether verbal, intellectual, or physical, is contrary to the core Message of Islam. Islam came with the strongest message of non-violence ever. Violence is the language of the inarticulate. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Afford all human beings unconditional compassion, kindness, and dignity, regardless of background. If you are good to those who are good to you, then what good are you. The basis is: Love Allah. This article was spread firstly on SANA, the regime run news channel, followed by RT, the Russian dogs, and then Al-Hebriya. Another issue is the interviewing of large battalion leaders in Syria, like Jaish al Islam(Jaish al Taghout), wherein they will deliberately ask him about ISIS, JAN, and the likes, where he is most certainly unprepared to answer such a question in such haste, as a result, he blurts something out which could cause a storm between the brigades. This is immediately spread like wild fire. One of the most important issues to look at when you watch the news about the Middle East, or the North African states, is to analyze what their editorials speak about in terms of Islamist movements and the likes. Bulan Muharram adalah salah satu dari pada bulan-bulan Haram. Allah berfirman, "Sesungguhnya bilangan bulan pada sisi Allah adalah dua belas bulan, dalam ketetapan Allah di waktu Dia menciptakan langit dan bumi, di antaranya empat bulan haram. Itulah agama yang lurus, maka janganlah kamu menganiaya diri kamu dalam bulan yang empat itu, dan perangilah kaum musyrikin itu semuanya sebagaimana mereka pun memerangi kamu semuanya, dan ketahuilah bahwasanya Allah beserta orang-orang yang bertakwa." (At-Taubah: 36) Nabi saw. bersabda, "Satu tahun itu ada dua belas bulan. Di antaranya ada empat bulan suci. Tiga bulan berturut-turut iaitu Zulkaedah, Zulhijjah dan Muharram. Dan satu bulan lagi adalah Rejab yang terletak antara Jamadil Akhir dan Sya'ban." (HR Muslim no. 1679) 3. Bulan Haram yang dihormati itu ialah: Zulkaedah, Zulhijjah, Muharam dan Rejab. 4. Umat Islam dilarang berperang dan berbunuhan dalam bulan-bulan ini kecuali jika mereka diugut. 5. Larangan untuk melakukan maksiat adalah lebih keras dibanding bulan-bulan lain. Abdullah Ibnu Abbas ra. mengatakan maksiat yang dilakukan di bulan haram adalah lebih besar dosanya dan amal baik yang dilakukan di bulan haram adalah lebih besar pahalanya. (Tafsir At-Thabari) Al Allamah Ibnu Hajar menulis, telah meriwayatkan oleh Abi Daud bahawa Nabi (صلى الله عليه وسلم) memandubkan (yakni SUNAT) berpuasa di BULAN-BULAN HARAM . Dari Abu Hurairah r.a. katanya Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda, "Puasa yang paling utama sesudah puasa bulan Ramadan ialah puasa di bulan Muharram". (HR Muslim no. 1163)

 takbir - Social Mention: فَإِذَا فَرَغَ مِنَ الصَّلاةِ أَثْنَى عَلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ هُوَ وَمَنْ حَضَرَ بِمَا وَرَدَ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ الَلَّهُمَّ اَنْتَ السَّلامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلامُ تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلاَلِ وَاْلإِكْرَامِ ثُمَّ يُقْبِلُ عَلَى الْجَمَاعَةِ ثُمَّ يَأْتِيْ بِالتَّهْلِيْلاَتِ الْوَارِدَاتِ حِيْنَئِذٍ ثُمَّ يُسَبِّحُ اللهَ وَيَحْمَدُهُ وَيُكَبِّرُهُ ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِيْنَ وَيَخْتِمُ الْمِائَةَ بِالتَّهْلِيْلِ كَمَا وَرَدَ وَكَذَا الْجَمَاعَةُ ثُمَّ يَدْعُو اللهَ تَعَالى لَهُ وَلَهُمْ وَلِلْمُسْلِمِيْنَ. وَكَانَ قَدْ عُرِفَتْ عَادَتُهُ؛ لاَ يُكَلِّمُهُ أَحَدٌ بِغَيْرِ ضَرُوْرَةٍ بَعْدَ صَلاةِ الْفَجْرِ فَلاَ يَزَالُ فِي الذِّكْرِ يُسْمِعُ نَفْسَهُ وَرُبَّمَا يُسْمِعُ ذِكْرَهُ مَنْ إِلَى جَانِبِهِ، مَعَ كَوْنِهِ فِيْ خِلاَلِ ذَلِكَ يُكْثِرُ فِي تَقْلِيْبِ بَصَرِهِ نَحْوَ السَّمَاءِ. هَكَذَاَ دَأْبُهُ حَتَّى تَرْتَفِعَ الشَمْسُ وَيزُوْلَ وَقْتُ النَّهْيِ عَنِ الصَّلاةِ. وَكُنْتُ مُدَّةَ إِقَامَتِيْ بِدِمَشْقَ مُلاَزِمَهُ جُلَّ النَّهَارِ وَكَثِيْراً مِنَ اللَّيْلِ. وَكَانَ يُدْنِيْنِيْ مِنْهُ َحتَّى يُجْلِسَنِيْ إِلَى جَانِبِهِ، وَكُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ مَا يَتْلُوْ وَمَا يَذْكُرُ حِيْنَئِذٍ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ الْفَاتِحَةَ وَيُكَرِّرُهَا وَيَقْطَعُ ذَلِكَ الْوَقْتَ كُلَّهُ ـ أَعْنِيْ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ إِلَى ارْتِفَاعِ الشَّمْسِ ـ فِيْ تَكْرِيْرِ تِلاَوَتِهَا. فَفَكَّرْتُ فِيْ ذَلِكَ؛ لِمَ قَدْ لَزِمَ هَذِهِ السُّوْرَةَ دُوْنَ غَيْرِهَا؟ فَبَانَ لِيْ ـ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ ـ أَنَّ قَصْدَهُ بِذَلِكَ أَنْ يَجْمَعَ بِتِلاَوَتِهَا حِيْنَئِذٍ مَا وَرَدَ فِي اْلأَحَادِيْثِ، وَمَا ذَكَرَهُ الْعُلَمَاءُ: هَلْ يُسْتَحَبُّ حِيْنَئِذٍ تَقْدِيْمُ اْلأَذْكَارِ الْوَارِدَةِ عَلَى تِلاَوَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَوِ الْعَكْسُ؟ فرَأَى أَنَّ فِي الْفَاتِحَةِ وَتِكْرَارِهَا حِيْنَئِذٍ جَمْعاً بَيْنَ الْقَوْلَيْنِ وَتَحْصِيْلاً لِلْفَضِيْلَتَيْنِ، وَهَذَا مِنْ قُوَّةِ فِطْنَتِهِ وَثَاقِبِ بَصِيْرَتٍهٍ، اهـ (عمر بن علي البزار، الأعلام العلية في مناقب ابن تيمية، ص/37-39).

 kafir - Social Mention: DERITA DAN NIKMAT ALAM BARZAKH mayat1Seorang muslim wajib beriman bahwa azab kubur merupakan perkara yang haq, dan pertanyaan malaikat Munkar dan Nakir kepada penghuni kubur tentang Tuhannya, agamanya dan Nabinya suatu perkara yang pasti.1 Maka Abu Abdullah berkata, "azab kubur suatu yang hak dan tidak ada yang mengingkarinya kecuali orang sesat dan menyesatkan." 2 Dan demikian itu berdasarkan Al-Qur'an, As-Sunnah dan ijma sahabat, maka kuburan merupakan liang dari taman surga atau liang dari jurang neraka, sehingga ketika seorang hamba mati dan dimasukkan ke liang kubur berarti ia telah mengawali alam akhiratnya. Ketahuilah, para pembela kebenaran sepakat bahwa Allah menciptakan untuk sang mayat suatu kehidupan yang bisa berupa kesengsaraan dan kelezatan di alam kubur.3 Dan seorang tidak tahu secara persis berapa lama ia harus tinggal di kampung hunian kuburan tersebut, kuburan adalah alam yang paling menakutkan setiap salafush shalih. Dalam hadits Barra bin Azib رضي الله عنه yang panjang, bahwa tatkala Rasulullah duduk di kuburan beliau bersabda "Berlindunglah kalian kepada Allah dari azab kubur." Ucapan itu diulang hingga dua atau tiga kali, kemudian beliau menuturkan tentang kondisi mayat mukmin dengan bersabda, "Maka ruhnya dikembalikan ke jasadnya kemudian datanglah dua malaikat dan keduanya mendudukkannya lalu keduanya bertanya, 'Siapakah Tuhanmu?' Maka ia menjawab, 'Tuhanku adalah Allah. Keduanya bertanya lagi, 'Apa agamamu?' Maka ia men jawab, 'Agamaku adalah Islam.' Keduanya bertanya lagi "Siapa orang yang diutus kepadamu?' Maka ia menjawab 'Dia adalah Muhammad sebagai utusan Allah'. Lalu keduanya bertanya kepadanya, 'Bagaimana kamu bisa tahu tentang hal itu?' Ia menjawab, 'Saya membaca Kitabullah lalu saya beriman dan membenarkannya.'" "Maka terdengarlah dari langit suara panggilan yang memanggil. 'Jawaban hamba-Ku sudah benar. Maka hamparkanlah (permadani) dari surga dan bukakan pintu menuju arah surga serta berikanlah pakaian dari surga.' Beliau bersabda, "Maka masuklah ke alam kubur aroma semerbak dan wanginya surga lalu alam kuburnya diluaskan sejauh pandangan matanya." Beliau melanjutkan, "Maka datanglah seorang lelaki yang berwajah tampan, berpakaian bagus dan me­namakan wewangian lalu ia berkata, 'Bergembiralah dengan sesuatu yang pernah dijanjikan kepadamu. Maka si mayat bertanya kepadanya, 'Siapa kamu? Wajahmu datang membawa kebaikan.' Maka ia menjawab, 'Maka saya adalah amal shalihmu.' Maka ia berkata, 'Ya Allah, bangkitkan segera Hari Kiamat hingga aku bisa kembali kepada keluargaku dan hartaku.' Kemudian beliau menceritakan kematian orang kafir beliau bersabda, "Maka ruhnya dikembalikan ke jasadnya lalu datanglah dua malaikat dan mendudukkan­nya lalu keduanya bertanya kepadanya, 'Siapa Tuhanmu?' la menjawab, 'Ha… ha… saya tidak tahu'. Lalu keduanya berlanya lagi, 'Apa agamamu?' Ia menjawab, 'Ha… ha… saya tidak tahu'. Keduanya bertanya lagi, "Siapa yang diutus kepadamu menjadi nabi?' Ia menjawab, 'Ha… ha saya tidak tahu'. Maka terdengarlah suara panggilan memanggil dari alas langit, "Ia berdusta. Hamparkanlah permadani dari neraka, berikanlah pakaian dari neraka dan bukakanlah pintu menuju neraka." Beliau bersabda, "Maka masuklah panasnya dan racunnya neraka, sehingga tulang rusuknya berantakan dan datanglah seorang lelaki yang berwajah buruk, berpakaian kumal dan berbau busuk. Lalu ia berkata, 'bergembiralah dengan nasib buruk ini yang telah dijanjikan kepadamu sebelumnya.' Si mayat bertanya, 'Siapakah dirimu? Datang berwajah buruk?. Ia menjawab 'Saya adalah amal burukmu'. Maka ia berkata, 'Ya Tuhan-ku, janganlah Engkau bangkitkan Hari Kiamat.'" Ada tambahan dari hadits Jarir bahwa beliau bersabda, "Kemudian dihadirkan orang buta dan bisu yang ditangannya terdapat cemeti terbuat dari besi. Andaikata digunakan untuk memukul gunung, maka gunung itu akan menjadi debu bertebaran." 4 Begitulah wahai saudaraku, kenikmatan surga bisa sampai kepada hamba pada saat masih berada di alan kubur, dan demikian pula siksaan neraka sampai kepada hamba pada saat masih berada di alam kubur, hingga malaikat Israfil meniup sangkakala sebagai pertanda Hari Kiamat tiba. Pasca kematian bukan tempat peristirahatan namun alam pertanggungjawaban dan tempat untuk menghisab seluruh amal perbuatan, maka sang penyair berkata: "Jikalau kita telah mati dibiarkan maka kematian menjadi tujuan setiap yang hidup. Tetapi tatkala kita mati pasti dibangkitkan dan ditanya tentang segala sesuatu." Wahai Dzat pengambil nyawa dari jiwa manusia pada saat kematian, wahai Dzat Pengampun dosa, jauhkanlah kami dari siksa kubur.

Maka si mayat bertanya kepadanya, 'Siapa kamu? Wajahmu datang membawa kebaikan.' Maka ia menjawab, 'Maka saya adalah amal shalihmu.' Maka ia berkata, 'Ya Allah, bangkitkan segera Hari Kiamat hingga aku bisa kembali kepada keluargaku dan hartaku.' Kemudian beliau menceritakan kematian orang kafir beliau bersabda, "Maka ruhnya dikembalikan ke jasadnya lalu datanglah dua malaikat dan mendudukkan­nya lalu keduanya bertanya kepadanya, 'Siapa Tuhanmu?' la menjawab, 'Ha… ha… saya tidak tahu'. Lalu keduanya berlanya lagi, 'Apa agamamu?' Ia menjawab, 'Ha… ha… saya tidak tahu'. Keduanya bertanya lagi, "Siapa yang diutus kepadamu menjadi nabi?' Ia menjawab, 'Ha… ha saya tidak tahu'. Maka terdengarlah suara panggilan memanggil dari alas langit, "Ia berdusta. Hamparkanlah permadani dari neraka, berikanlah pakaian dari neraka dan bukakanlah pintu menuju neraka." Beliau bersabda, "Maka masuklah panasnya dan racunnya neraka, sehingga tulang rusuknya berantakan dan datanglah seorang lelaki yang berwajah buruk, berpakaian kumal dan berbau busuk. Lalu ia berkata, 'bergembiralah dengan nasib buruk ini yang telah dijanjikan kepadamu sebelumnya.' Si mayat bertanya, 'Siapakah dirimu? Datang berwajah buruk?. Ia menjawab 'Saya adalah amal burukmu'. Maka ia berkata, 'Ya Tuhan-ku, janganlah Engkau bangkitkan Hari Kiamat.'" Ada tambahan dari hadits Jarir bahwa beliau bersabda, "Kemudian dihadirkan orang buta dan bisu yang ditangannya terdapat cemeti terbuat dari besi. Andaikata digunakan untuk memukul gunung, maka gunung itu akan menjadi debu bertebaran." 4 Begitulah wahai saudaraku, kenikmatan surga bisa sampai kepada hamba pada saat masih berada di alan kubur, dan demikian pula siksaan neraka sampai kepada hamba pada saat masih berada di alam kubur, hingga malaikat Israfil meniup sangkakala sebagai pertanda Hari Kiamat tiba. Pasca kematian bukan tempat peristirahatan namun alam pertanggungjawaban dan tempat untuk menghisab seluruh amal perbuatan, maka sang penyair berkata: "Jikalau kita telah mati dibiarkan maka kematian menjadi tujuan setiap yang hidup. Tetapi tatkala kita mati pasti dibangkitkan dan ditanya tentang segala sesuatu." Wahai Dzat pengambil nyawa dari jiwa manusia pada saat kematian, wahai Dzat Pengampun dosa, jauhkanlah kami dari siksa kubur.

 dawah - Social Mention: Researcher and student in Islamic Theology and Prophetic narrations (Hadith Science) Introduction Believes in the absolute prioritization of the Texts (Qur'an and Authentic Sunnah) over any and everything. The Qur'an and Sunnah are revealed by The Most Compassionate, Creator of All, and no other entity or text can be as unconditionally loving, forgiving, compassionate, and inclusive. But believes in absolutely NO Taqlid in issues of Tawhid whatsoever, so wherever the Athar (Textual evidence) leads, that's where the direction is. Attempts to practice a Text(Qur'an/Sunnah)- based approach to Tasawuff/Tazkiyah/Sufism (The Tasawuff of Ahlul Hadith, such as al-Hafidh As-Suyuti and the like). Believes in the great honor of all the Sahaba (Prophetic companions- may Allah Ta'ala be pleased with them all), all and any of them, for the simple fact, which is the honorable vision and companionship of the best of the creation -sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam- that Allah Ta'ala granted them. Equally so, the honorable Prophetic household (Ahlul Bayt). Attempts to speak about both (The Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt) as equally as possible to bring about a lacking balance with respect to the Seerah and figures of the Salaf of Ahlul Bayt from our authentic Ahlus Sunnah sources and point of view. The Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt (Ahlul Bayt is a term which includes our mothers; the honorable wives Ummahaatul Mu'minin, may Allah Ta'ala be pleased with them all) have carried this Deen to us, struggled, and we can benefit from knowing them, their life, principles and ways, without going extreme in either camp. i.e. not neglecting the Sahaba, and not neglecting Ahlul Bayt, nor going extreme in either group, but striking the Qur'an/Sunnah demanded balance. Both; the Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt are commanded to follow the Book and Sunnah themselves. Loving them both and learning about them both, is equally important. This is because of the clear Prophetic directive; Muslim narrated in his Sahih, where the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam, said: I am leaving you behind me two heavy weights: the Book and Ahla Bayti. One must realize that the Book mandates and institutionalizes the Sunnah, which is also Wahi. Hence, no separation in that sense whatsoever, and a disbelief in the Book is a disbelief in the Sunnah and vice versa. This authentic Hadith in effect states that the Qur'an and Sunnah are the first and heaviest weight (responsibility) left to us, and holding on to them will save us from misguidance, as Prophetically stated. Ahlul Bayt as Prophetically defined -as in the authenic Hadith of Ummu Salamah- are the five whom the Prophet-sallallahu alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam- cloaked along with himself (Fatima, Ali, Hasan, and Husayn) and called them: Ahlul Bayt. The four are Sahaba as well, and when one examines their life and message, sees a striking resemblance to the Prophetic life and message, and an embodiment and prioritization of the Qur'an and Sunnah -as indicated in another authentic narration, hence they are the second or lesser weight, as per the Prophetic Hadith. No clear-cut Prophetic command for post-Prophetic succession was left. Shura and election led to the selection of the first righteous Khalifa; Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiqq over the entire Ummah, followed by Sayyidina Umar, followed by Sayyidina Uthman, followed by Sayyidina wa Mawlana Ali. This (30 year) era of Khilafa Rashida (Righteous Prophetic Succession) combined the leadership of both; the Sahaba and Ahlul Bayt, and was a great era. Yet they (the 4 righteous Khulafa) themselves had a standard which they were obligated to adhere to and follow: the Book and authentic Sunnah. They did so at the best of their knowledge and capacity, and exhausted their abilities and efforts to follow the Qur'an and Sunnah until they departed, so may Allah Ta'ala shower them with His Mercies and be pleased with them all. Believes that al-Hasan did the absolutely righteous thing (Shar'i mandate) by accepting the recusal of himself from the executive leadership of the Ummah to Muawiyah (a Sahabi), to prevent further bloodshed and Fitna. And believes that al-Husayn did the absolutely righteous thing by standing up in words, actions, and -more importantly- self, to the tyrant Yazid to prevent further bloodshed and Fitna. (yazid is NOT a Sahabi, but a Fasiq to say the least, but only Allah Ta'ala knows best). In general, follows a textual (Qur'an/Hadithi) approach and prioritization thereof in everything as much as possible. Nothing is as comforting as the Book of Allah Ta'ala and the words of His Gift of Mercy to the worlds, sallalllahu Ta'ala alayhi wa aalihi wa sallam. The objective is to prioritize the Book and authentic Sunnah, and put them on top of the list and in the hearts again. Nothing before them, and nothing should compete with them in allegiance, foundation, substantiation, or reference. The emphasis on the authentic Sunnah is extremely important, to weed out the forged and very weak Ahadith and narrations, and to filter aside the weak ones. The view here is that, in general, any prioritization of weak narrations over stronger ones (Hasan and Sahih) is a sign of Hawa (following desires and ignorance), and should be immediately abandoned. May Allah Ta'ala help and facilitate for us to do so each and every time we slip. Our faith is based on the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah only. We harp around these two, and proudly stand corrected based on them, any and every time Insha'Allah. The great work of our Imams (such as Imam Abu Abdillah As-Shafi'i, Abu Hanifah, and the like) are for Isti'naas (elucidation/expansion) not Ta'sis (foundation/substantiation). The Ta'sis (foundation/substantiation) is only for the Book and authentic Sunnah. Tasawuff (Sufism) is good if and when it prioritizes the Qur'an and Authentic Sunnah, bound by them, trains people more aware of their Creator, loving Him, and propels them to maximize one's potential in being Rabbani. Rabbani externally in behavior, Rabbani in essence, Rabbani in positive contribution and unconditional compassion to all humanity, and Rabbani in connection to ar-Rabb Ta'ala, The Creator of All. In another words, Tasawuff is good, if and only, it means and reflects the Prophetic definition of Ihsan, and is bound by it. For Ihsan is part of the Deen, as Prophetically indicated, and thus the Deen is incomplete without Ihsan. Believes in "Back to Basics" as far as Dawah for self and others. Few things I have always said: Tradition must be distinguished from religion. Thinking, not just blind following, is key. Unconditional compassion is the foundational cornerstone of our Deen. Violence, whether verbal, intellectual, or physical, is contrary to the core Message of Islam. Islam came with the strongest message of non-violence ever. Violence is the language of the inarticulate. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Afford all human beings unconditional compassion, kindness, and dignity, regardless of background. The great work of our Imams (such as Imam Abu Abdillah As-Shafi'i, Abu Hanifah, and the like) are for Isti'naas (elucidation/expansion) not Ta'sis (foundation/substantiation). The Ta'sis (foundation/substantiation) is only for the Book and authentic Sunnah. Tasawuff (Sufism) is good if and when it prioritizes the Qur'an and Authentic Sunnah, bound by them, trains people more aware of their Creator, loving Him, and propels them to maximize one's potential in being Rabbani. Rabbani externally in behavior, Rabbani in essence, Rabbani in positive contribution and unconditional compassion to all humanity, and Rabbani in connection to ar-Rabb Ta'ala, The Creator of All. In another words, Tasawuff is good, if and only, it means and reflects the Prophetic definition of Ihsan, and is bound by it. For Ihsan is part of the Deen, as Prophetically indicated, and thus the Deen is incomplete without Ihsan. Believes in "Back to Basics" as far as Dawah for self and others. Few things I have always said: Tradition must be distinguished from religion. Thinking, not just blind following, is key. Unconditional compassion is the foundational cornerstone of our Deen. Violence, whether verbal, intellectual, or physical, is contrary to the core Message of Islam. Islam came with the strongest message of non-violence ever. Violence is the language of the inarticulate. Treat others as you would like to be treated. Afford all human beings unconditional compassion, kindness, and dignity, regardless of background. This is intentional, why? Because when they used to speak of Jabhat al Nusrah and the other Mujahideen, they brought attention to them and made the Muslims love them. This proved a disaster for the kuffar, as a result they will now never post an operation done by any mujahideen groups in Syria. 2) They now only convey losses faced by the "FSA", making these losses seem overly significant and a deal breaker for the mujahideen, two examples of this are Al-Qusayr and now Qara. These two towns were made out to be the hearts of the revolution, so that when they fell, so too would the morale of the fighters in Syria. In truth, Al-Qusayr did not affect Syria the way the media portrayed it, at all. 3) They convey lies against Islam, from sources known to be liars, an example of this is the 'Sex jihad' rubbish that was spread from a corrupt politician in Tunisia. This article was spread firstly on SANA, the regime run news channel, followed by RT, the Russian dogs, and then Al-Hebriya. Another issue is the interviewing of large battalion leaders in Syria, like Jaish al Islam(Jaish al Taghout), wherein they will deliberately ask him about ISIS, JAN, and the likes, where he is most certainly unprepared to answer such a question in such haste, as a result, he blurts something out which could cause a storm between the brigades. This is immediately spread like wild fire. One of the most important issues to look at when you watch the news about the Middle East, or the North African states, is to analyze what their editorials speak about in terms of Islamist movements and the likes.
