The reason is not farfetched. It is because he left the 'Pharaohnic people' (the unbelievers) for Islam. And because they were not pleased with his leaving (i.e. his reversion to Islam), thus they want him back (to be an unbeliever like them). SubhanAllah! Allah says, Say: "O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you stop those who have believed, from the path of Allah, seeking to make it seem crooked, while you (yourselves) are witnesses [to Muhammad (pbuh) as a Messenger of Allah and Islam (Allah's Religion, i.e. to worship none but Him Alone)]. And Allah is not unaware of what you do?" [1] Verily, Allah is our Helper! The promise that Allah will give victory to His religion, His Messenger and His believing Servants and that they will destroy the disbelievers, is a confirmed promise without doubt. And these environment, which are based upon shirk and kufr and legislations of ignorance and hatred against Islam and the Muslims will not remain, no matter how many paths it has, no matter how strong its power, no matter how long its presence in the Earth has lasted, no matter their institutions, their resources, their threats and intimidations, and their education, and their technology. I testify that our enemies (Jews and Christians) will forever regret their evil acts against us and our religion. The Prophet (pbuh) said "The Day of Judgment will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews, then the Muslims will kill them (their fighters)." [2]In addition, it is a reality that it is obligatory to believe in, and to put forth the efforts to establish it. But the conditions for that, is that we must move our bodies and hearts with it and that we must act for Allah, with honesty and certainty. He, the Most High says: "… and (as for) the believer it was incumbent upon Us to help (them)." [3]. And Allah also says: "Verily, the Victory of Allah is near!" [4]In shaa Allah, today remains 23 days to Amir's case hearing in the court. But, there have being concerted effort to his situation. We hereby ask the public to "write to Amir" to convince the Judge that Amir is a changed individual and demonstrate to the Judge of his rehabilitation since his reversion to Islam. Therefore, 50,000 letters are to be written on this course to make an impact by Allah's Permission.
