Ing. Marcel Krass Imam Ibn Al-Jauziah schrieb ein Buch über die Vorzüge von Imam Ahmad. Er erzählt darin eine schöne Geschichte, die uns zeigt, wie wichtig es ist, Allahs immer zu gedenken:Imam Ahmad war der berühmteste Mann in der muslimischen Welt, und nicht erst seit der Fitnah zu seinen Lebzeiten. Imam Adh-Dhahabi schreibt, dass es in seinem Gebiet nie einen größeren Trauerzug gab als für Imam Ahmad. An einem einzigen Tag kamen 1,3 Millionen Menschen, nur um für ihn das Totengebet zu verrichten. SubhanAllah. Stell dir vor, wie berühmt und beliebt er war, möge Allah ihm barmherzig sein. Wenn er sich auf eine Reise für die Suche nach Wissen begab, bedeckte er sein Gesicht, damit die Leute in nicht erkennen. Seine Demut war beispielhaft.Eines Tages reist er nach Asch-Scham [das heutige Syrien] und machte unterwegs Halt an einer Moschee, um darin die Nacht zu verbringen. Der Wächter jedoch sagte ihm: „Geh, die Moschee schließt gleich." – „Aber ich habe keinen Ort, wo ich jetzt hinkönnte.", antwortete Imam Ahmad. „Raus hier.", war die Antwort der Wache. Jetzt hätte er sagen können: „Übrigens, ich bin Imam Ahmad.", aber er sagte nichts dergleichen. Stattdessen packte er seinen Sachen und legte sich zum Schlafen auf die Treppenstufen vor dem Moscheeeingang. Der Wächter kam heraus und sagte ihm, dass er von den Stufen verschwinden sollte. Imam Ahmad wusste nicht, wo er hinsollte.Der Wächter packte ihn daraufhin bei den Füßen und schleifte ihn auf die Straße. Imam Ahmad wusste also, dass er es ernst meinte.Dann kam ein Bäcker von der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite und sah den Imam auf der Straße liegen. „Du kannst heute Nacht in meiner Bäckerei bleiben. Ich habe noch etwas zu tun, du kannst dort schlafen.", sagte er und öffnete ihm die Tür.Imam Ahmad beobachtete den Mann bei der Arbeit. Er knetete den Teig, steckte ihn in den Ofen, und bei allem, was er tat – Kneten, Formen, Backen, etc . – sagte der Mann:„SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha ille Allah, Allahu Akbar … SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha ille Allah, Allahu Akbar … SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha ille Allah, Allahu Akbar …"Die ganze Nacht durch lobpreiste er Allah.Imam Ahmad war schockiert. Wenn wir uns vorstellen, wie schnell den Leuten Tasbih langweilig wird, und dieser Mann gedenkt Allahs durchgängig an seiner Arbeitsstelle! Das ist nicht Tahajjud oder I'tikaf oder so etwas.Imam Ahmad fragt ihn dann: „Wie lange machst du das schon so?" – „Was denn?" – „Ich rede von deiner ständigen Lobpreisung Allahs.", worauf er antwortete: „Mein ganzes Leben schon."Imam Ahmad fragt ihn weiter: „Und was hast du von Allah gesehen als Ergebnis deiner fortwährend Lobpreisung?". Der Bäcker antwortete: „Ich habe Allah nie um etwas gebeten, ohne dass Er es mir erfüllte.".Imam Ahmad konnte es nicht glauben: „SubhanAllah! Du hast Allah noch nie um etwas gebeten, ohne dass Er es dir erfüllte?". Und der Bäcker antwortete: „Ich habe Allah nie um etwas gebeten, ohne dass Er es mir erfüllte… außer in einem Fall.".„Und was war das?"„Dass ich Imam Ahmad treffe."Imam Ahmad brach in Tränen aus. Er umarmte den Mann und sagte ihm: „SubhanAllah. Er hat dir Imam Ahmad gebracht, an den Füßen gezogen zu dir in die Bäckerei. Wärest du nicht gewesen, hätte ich in Frieden in der Moschee schlafen können."SubhanAllah.اذْكُر رَّبَّكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ تَضَرُّعاً وَخِيفَةً وَدُونَ الْجَهْرِ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالآصَالِ وَلاَ تَكُن مِّنَ الْغَافِلِينَ„Und gedenke deines Herrn in deiner Seele in Unterwürfigkeit flehend und in Furcht und mit leiser Stimme, am Morgen und am Abend. Und gehöre nicht zu den Unachtsamen!"
