Dazu gehört, dass einem das Wissen verhindert ist, da Wissen ein Licht ist, welches Allaah in das Herz setzt. Und Sünden löschen dieses Licht aus. Als Asch-Schafi'i vor Malik (rahimahu Allaah) saß, um ihm vorzulesen, war er erstaunt über Asch-Schafi'is Intelligenz, Weisheit und vollständigen Verständnis und Begriff, als er sagte: "Ich sehe, dass Allaah Licht in dein Herz gesetzt hat. Also lösche es nicht mit der Dunkelheit der Sünden aus." Und Asch-Schafi'i (rahimahu Allaah) sagte: Ich beschwerte mich bei Waki' über mein schwaches Gedächtnis. Da riet er mir, die Sünden zu lassen und sagte: "Wisse, dass Wissen ein Segen ist, und der Segen Allaahs ist für den Sünder nicht erreichbar."
