Syria's permanent envoy to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari affirmed that the Syrian government is open to all initiatives aiming at reaching a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
Al-Jaafari, Speaking at an unofficial meeting for the UN General Assembly on the humanitarian situation in Syria, said that the Syrian government is ready to cooperate with the UN organizations to deliver the humanitarian aid to the people in need in all regions, and Syria welcomes a positive UN assistance to improve the humanitarian situation in the country.
He affirmed Syria's rejection of using the UN mechanisms as a tool to carry out political agendas by governments of member states to interfere in the Syrian domestic affairs.
"Those governments exploit this platform for misleading through pointing false accusations against the Syrian government to cover the crimes of armed terrorist groups, funded by those governments," al-Jaafari said.
He added that the briefings submitted today on the humanitarian issues come in the core of the Syrian government's concerns, rather, a lot of these issues are subjects of daily discussion with the UN to ease the suffering of Syrian affected citizens, clarifying that the Syrian government bears the large extent burden of the humanitarian aid distributed in the country with 75%, while the UN relevant organizations bear 25% of the extent of aid.
"The Syrian government is committed to its open method to all initiatives aiming at reaching a political solution to the crisis in Syria led by Syria," al-Jaafari said, adding that the Syrian government, represented by its delegation, has taken part in Geneva 2 conference positively and agreed on the draft agenda supposed by the UN Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi to go ahead in this process which will start by discussing the item of ending terrorism and dismissing violence.
"The Syrian government is assuming its duty in spite of the existence of many obstacles, mainly the presence of hundreds of armed terrorist groups, supported by the Saudi, Turkish and Qatari governments including the groups linked to al-Qaeda which repeatedly and systematically target the humanitarian aid convoys, loot and burglarize these assistances as well as using the civilians as human shields," al-Jaafari said.
He referred to other obstacles, represented by the lack of funding for the response plan of 2104 and the unilateral coercive measures imposed by a number of countries on the Syrian people.
Al-Jaafari affirmed that Syria has taken a number of administrative and logistic procedures that helped the UN relevant agencies expand their activities, adding that the world Food Program announced that it was able to deliver food aid to 3.7 million citizens during January, 2014 while the UNHCR distributed basic relief materials to 3.4 million citizens during 2013.
He went on to say that the national reconciliations made in some regions of the country send strong messages to the whole world that the Syrian people are able to resolve their own crisis, away from any foreign manipulation with their national interests, affirming that work is underway to have similar reconciliations, particularly in Aleppo, saying "Solution would never be reached except through an outcome of genuine efforts by the Syrians, away from "the jihadists of Saudi Arabia, Qatar or Turkey."
Al-Jaafari also affirmed that the Syrian government is ready to cooperate with the UN resident coordinator in Syria and other relevant organizations to have an understanding on the way of implementing UN resolution / 2139/ adopted by Security council last Saturday, based on the respect for the UN charter, in light of the UN General Assembly resolution No. 46/182, on top, the respect for national sovereignty of the sates.

Syrian army clears strategic area in Yabruk of militants

Syrian troops have cleared militants from a strategic area in the city of Yabrud of the Rif Dimashq governorate, Al-Alam reports. The militants were using the western area to transfer weapons from Lebanon to Syria.
The Syrian army continued its offensive against foreign-backed militants in other areas across the country, killing dozens of them in fresh clashes.
Syrian army units managed to repel an attack against a number of villages in the Homs countryside.
The government troops also killed several militants and destroyed their vehicles and ammunition in the fighting in the western province.
During similar skirmishes in Hama, the army units killed all members of a terrorist group who were attempting to attack a military checkpoint in Morik town of the province.
Scores of militants were slain by the Syrian military in villages and towns across Aleppo while the army units carried out intensive operations against dozens of foreign-backed militants in the city of Daraa.
Government sources also say that nearly 10 civilians were injured when the militants launched mortar attacks on residential areas on the outskirts of the capital, Damascus.
The development comes a day after an unnamed Saudi source, who is close to decision-makers in the country, said that Saudi Arabia is in talks with Pakistan to provide the foreign-backed militants in Syria with anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets.
The source further said that Jordan is set to provide facilities to store the arms before they are delivered to the militants within Syria.
Ahmad Jarba, the head of the so-called Syrian National Coalition (SNC), said last week during a visit to northern Syria that "powerful arms will be arriving soon."
Syria has been gripped by deadly violence since 2011. Over 130,000 people have reportedly been killed and millions displaced due to the unrest.

Around 400 Tunisian jihadists have returned from fighting in the Syrian war, the interior minister said, sparking fears that the battle-hardened militants could fuel Islamist violence back home.
Numerous Tunisians have joined the ranks of Takfiri terrorist groups battling to overthrow the Syrian government, raising fears in the North African country of further violence on their return.
"We have managed to prevent nearly 8,000 people from going to Syria," Lotfi Ben Jeddou said late Monday, speaking after a security and counter-terrorism meeting.
"We don't have exact figures for those who have returned, but they are estimated to number around 400," he added.
Ben Jeddou admitted that the authorities had failed to arrest many of the Takfiris who have returned home due to a "legal loophole," without further elaborating.
"But we are following them very closely. We have built up a data base... They have acquired experience and training and must be monitored," he said.
Last year, the public prosecutor opened an inquiry into networks recruiting and facilitating the departure to Syria of young Tunisians fighters.
At the time the interior ministry said it had stepped up airport checks to try to prevent would-be combatants from heading there.
For more than a year, the security forces have been battling extremist militants hiding out in the remote border regions of western Tunisia, notably in the Chaambi mountains.

US preparing road map for Damascus attack
The United States along with several of its Arab allies are preparing for a major attack against Syria from the Jordan-Syria border, helping their supported militants open a way toward the Syrian capital, Damascus.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Monday that the attack will originate in Jordan and the US, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan are planning the way it will be launched.
According to media reports, the US is constructing runways for military aircraft near the border between Jordan and Syria and has been arming the foreign-backed insurgents with heavy weaponry which Saudi Arabia has flown to bases in Jordan.
While no US troops will be involved in the fighting on the ground, the reports say, the US President is to somehow address Saudis' criticism of his administration after his offensive missile campaign against Syria failed last summer. Barack Obama is determined to do so before his planned trip to Saudi Arabia next month.
Obama pushed for military strikes against Syria last summer following reports of a chemical weapons attack that Washington blamed on the Syrian government. However, he put on hold his planned military strike against the Arab country after Russia helped broker a deal under which Damascus agreed to eliminate its chemical weapons arsenal.
Several reports over the past weeks have shown that the US is considering a wide range of military options against Syria.
Last week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Washington is now reconsidering "military, diplomatic and intelligence options" which were abandoned in favor of talks between representatives of the Syrian government and the foreign-backed opposition in Geneva.
Meanwhile, some congressional officials have said that even the idea of using CIA-run drones is gaining currency both within the White House and Congress.
The latest news about a Jordan-based attack into Syria comes less than two weeks after the US President, who had hosted King Abdullah II of Jordan at the Sunnylands retreat in Palm Springs, California, said on February 14 that he and his royal guest had decided they should take steps "to apply more pressure to" the Syrian government.

Al-Qaeda wing in Syria sets deadline to end rebels' infighting
Head of the of al-Qaeda's al-Nusra Front terrorist group, Abu Mohammad al-Golani, has threatened to escalate war against radical Islamic State of Iraq and Levant militants if they don't stop fighting other groups within five days, media reports say.
Abu Mohammed al-Golani, leader of the Nusra Front, called on the ISIL group to agree to arbitration by their religious scholars to end more than a year of feuding which has turned violent in some areas in Syria.
Heavy clashes between the two groups and other extremist fighters in militant-held northern and eastern Syria have led to hundreds of deaths and have undermined the wider military campaign against the Syrian national army.
"We will wait for five days from the date of this recording for your formal reply," Golani said in the audio tape, released on a web site affiliated with his group.
"By God, if you reject God's ruling again and do not put an end to your plague against the Umma, then the Umma will launch an assault against this ignorant ideology and will terminate it, even from Iraq," he said.
The fighting broke out at the start of the year when several militant groups launched what appeared to be coordinated attacks on ISIL fighters, who have alienated many Syrians in the areas under their control.
Golani's Nusra Front, which has sworn allegiance to Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri, had until then avoided openly confronting ISIL, with which it shares a radical ideology, despite deep rivalry and tensions between the two groups.
Al-Qaeda has dissociated itself from ISIL.
In his statement, Golani differentiated between ISIL and the Western-backed Syrian opposition, both of which he described as infidel groups.

Turkey's Erdogan under investigation for corruption
A chief prosecutor's office has initiated an investigation into audio recordings purportedly of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan ordering his son to dispose vast amounts of cash amid a graft probe, state-run media has reported.
Erdogan met with Turkey's intelligence chief shortly after voice recordings of two people - alleged to be Erdogan and his son - circulated on the Internet on Monday.
The voices were heard discussing means of getting rid of large amounts of money from an undisclosed residence.
A statement issued by Erdogan's office later said the tapes were fabricated and that legal action would be taken against those responsible.
It was not clear if the probe by Ankara's chief prosecutor was to determine the recordings' authenticity or whether they represented a possible criminal act by the prime minister.
Earlier on Tuesday, Devlet Bahceli, the leader of Turkey's far-right Nationalist Action Party, called the recordings "mind-blowing" and urged prosecutors and other judicial bodies to intervene.
The Republican People's Party, Turkey's main opposition, claimed to have verified the authenticity of the recordings through "three or four channels" and called on Erdogan to either resign or "flee (Turkey) by helicopter."
On Tuesday, Erdogan lashed out at Turkish and foreign enemies he said were conspiring to bring his government down and again charged that the tapes were fabricated.
"This is a treacherous act against the prime minister of Turkey," he said.
The Associated Press cannot authenticate the audio recordings which reportedly took place on Dec. 17, when three Cabinet ministers' sons were detained in the police corruption and bribery probe.
The government said the investigations were orchestrated by followers of a movement led by US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen. Gulen denies involvement.
Erdogan says the group wants to discredit the government before local elections in March and a presidential election in August.

The US, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are reportedly helping foreign-backed militants operating inside Syria to prepare for an attack starting in southern Syria and spreading to Damascus.
According to a report recently published by The Washington Post, a military headquarters for coordinating actions in Syria has been established in Jordan, and between 200 and 250 terrorists receive exercises at the training base near the western Jordanian city of Salt.
The so-called Free Syrian Army say the move is meant to establish a "security zone" near the Syria-Jordan border, from which militant forces will be able to mount their attacks against Syrian government.
Meanwhile, anti-Syria militants have been provided with sophisticated communications systems. Saudi Arabia has also flown weaponry and ammunition to bases in Jordan in recent weeks.
An unnamed Saudi source, who is close to decision-makers in the country, said on Sunday that Saudi Arabia is in talks with Pakistan to provide foreign-backed militants operating inside Syria with anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets.
The source added that Pakistan produces its own version of Chinese shoulder-launched anti-aircraft missiles, known as Anza, and anti-tank rockets both of which Riyadh is planning to get for the militants.

Salam aleykum,
Ich beschäftige mich lange damit ein Vollzeit arbeit zu finden die in halal ist, z.b. als küchenhilfe oder Bürohilfe, so in der art.
An wenn soll ich mich da wenden? Kennt sich da wer aus, gibt es von stadt zu stadt andere möglichkeiten speziel für Frauen zum Beispiel?
In Deutschland habe ich eine Seite sogar für Muslime gefunden. Leider nicht für Österreich!
Bitte um Info wer wenn kennt, oder wo man etwas finden kann in sha allah.
