كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْقِتَالُ وَهُوَ كُرْهٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تَكْرَهُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَعَسَىٰٓ أَن تُحِبُّوا۟ شَيْـًٔا وَهُوَ شَرٌّ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
Kutiba AAalaykumu alqitalu wahuwa kurhun lakum waAAasa an takrahoo shayan wahuwa khayrun lakum waAAasa an tuhibboo shayan wahuwa sharrun lakum waAllahu yaAAlamu waantum la taAAlamoona
Vorgeschrieben ist euch zu kämpfen, obwohl es euch zuwider ist. Aber vielleicht ist euch etwas zuwider, während es gut für euch ist, und vielleicht ist euch etwas lieb, während es schlecht für euch ist. Allah weiß, ihr aber wißt nicht.

In sum, Iran is split over Hezbollah's role in Syria, and the Shiite community in Lebanon is questioning the Party's misadventure. Assad is still in power, true, but the regime has weakened drastically, and its delegation in Geneva II could not sell the "terrorism agenda" anymore. It was obvious that the transition of power is the sole item on the Geneva II agenda for everyone, except Russia, which stood alone when its Iranian ally was excluded.
