„Geht lieber nicht zur Presse", sagte ein Polizeibeamter in Offenbach zu den muslimischen Jugendlichen nach seinem Gewaltausbruch. Am 17. Juli 2013, in der Nacht von Dienstag auf Mittwoch, wurden 15 Jugendliche -nachdem Tarawih-Gebet in einer Moschee- von 13 Streifenwagen aufgehalten und einer allgemeinen Passkontrolle unterzogen. Als die jugendlichen nach dem Grund der Kontrolle fragten werden die Polizeibeamten plötzlich laut und misshandeln die Jugendlichen schwer.
Obwohl sich kein Jugendlicher wehrte, setzten die Polizeibeamten Handschellen und Schlagstöcke ein. Auch Pfefferspray kam zum Einsatz. Nachdem es keinen Grund für eine Festnahme gegeben hatte und die Jugendlichen laufen gelassen wurden, drohten Polizeibeamte der muslimischen Gruppe „es ist besser nicht zur Presse zu gehen".
Ein misshandelter Jugendlicher ist der Meinung, dass die Polizei die Gruppe wegen ihrer „muslimisch aussehenden Kleidung" so behandelte. „Wir haben sie nach ihren Namen und Papieren gefragt, doch sie haben uns keine Auskunft gegeben. Sie haben sogar 13-jährigen Kindern Handschellen angelegt. Wir Älteren haben uns gutmütig verhalten, damit die Lage in der Gegenwart der Kinder nicht eskaliert, doch die Polizei war scheinbar gezielt an einer Eskalation interessiert", erzählt der Jugendliche.
Als sich die Jugendlichen wegen der unverhältnismäßigen Gewalt beschwerten, sagte ein Polizeibeamter, dass es in anderen Ländern viel schlimmer zugehe und die Jugendlichen sich nicht beschweren sollten.
Diese sahen das anders: „Wir hatten keine Waffen bei uns, nichts, wofür man uns belangen könnte. Dennoch wurden wir geschlagen und traktiert. Als Muslime werden wir wie potenzielle Verbrecher gesehen. Sie haben höhnisch gelächelt während des Einsatzes. Die Beamtinnen gingen sogar noch härter zur Sache als ihre männlichen Kollegen. Wir werden Strafanzeige erstellen und wollen Gerechtigkeit", erklärten die Jugendlichen. Die Kanzlei Özçelik-Dilci aus Offenbach am Main stellte im Namen der Geschädigten Strafanzeige wegen Körperverletzung im Amt .

In "Fath Al-Bari" (4/138), kommentierte Ibn Hajar dies wie folgt:
"Was man daraus schließen kann, ist dass der Mundgeruch einer fastenden Person, besser ist als das Blut eines Märtyrers. Dies ist so, weil das Blut eines Märtyrers mit dem Geruch von Moschus verglichen wurde*, während der Mundgeruch des Fastenden im Vergleich zu Moschus, als sogar besser beschrieben wurde! Dies heißt jedoch nicht zwangsläufig, dass das Fasten besser ist als die Shahada (Märtyrertum), aufgrund von offensichtlichen Gründen…"

The Islamic Aqeeda would be portrayed as the seed which germinated this tree, whereas the thoughts of Islam and its rules which deal with life's affairs would be the roots of this tree, while the lofty trunk which sprouted from these roots would be the rule, i.e the authority. The solid branches and the verdant twigs would be the Ummah's engagement in upholding the Islamic way of life and in carrying the Islamic Da'awa to the whole world.
