Auch richtet sich dieses Buch nicht nur an die verheirateten Frauen, welche sich gerne die Eigenschaften einer rechtschaffenen Ehefrau aneignen und darauf Acht geben wollen, dass sie diese in ihrem Leben verwirklichen können.

Auch richtet es sich nicht nur an jene Ehefrau, welche in ihrer Ehe den Pflichten zu wenig nachkommt und sich hierdurch erhofft, ihre Nachlässigkeit heilen bzw. beseitigen zu können. Nein, vielmehr ist diese Predigt und Ermahnung allgemeiner gehalten. Es ist zum einen eine Ermahnung für den Vater und zum anderen soll diese Abhandlung der Mutter verhelfen ein gutes Vorbild zu sein und den Vater dabei unterstützen seine Tochter zu einem guten Heranwachsen und respektvollen Leben zu leiten.
